Volume UP!!!
I got to test this product as a #lykoinflutester. About my hair: - Dry and tends to get frizzy 😳 - Classic natural color at the roots and gets bleached highlights/balayage 4-5 times a year I regularly use detox and silver shampoo to keep the color fresh. This is the first time I’m testing this type of product, which is a foam that contains fibers that activate when you clap your hands together. The feeling was that it went from mousse to.. glue in my hands 😅 As you can see in the video, I had a bit of trouble dosing the product and got out huuur much. After persistently scrunching it into my hair, everything went in, and it felt completely non-sticky or crunchy. I read on the bottle that you should ideally dry your hair upside down for volume, so I did that. After a short while, I realized I should try the diffuser to see if my slightly wavy hair would get a bit more curls. Judge my surprise when I lifted my head and the volume of my hair had basically doubled. Even my husband noticed the difference (and that says a lot). I felt a bit like a poodle rocker 🤘 I rarely wear my hair down and usually blow-dry it straight, so it was a bit unusual, but fun! However, I think the hair looked best on day two when it had “settled” a bit and I brushed through it. Pros of the product: - gives insane volume - doesn’t get stiff/crunchy, but the hair feels flexible - built-in heat protection Cons: - hard to dose, both in getting it out of the bottle and how much to use - doesn’t hold the style as well as promised All in all, a fun product to try but not something I will use every day. Wow product! Nice hold and texture in the hair with good durability without feeling sticky or stiff. My overnight curls lasted until the next hair wash, despite rain and running. I have been testing this product for three weeks now. I like the product. It feels a little bit in the hair when the hair is dry, but not enough to be bothersome. Also, my hair needs more texture because when I curl it, the curls actually hold with this product. I've never been able to get curls with a flat iron because it didn’t create a curl. But now I can finally start making curls with a flat iron🤩. I also have a very sensitive scalp and usually can’t have product close to the scalp because it itches and becomes sore. But my scalp has reacted well to this product. Really good mousse 🤩
I’ve had the honor of testing Fiber Foam as #lykotestpilot for a few weeks, and I have to say I’m really impressed. I have long, dry, and frizzy hair that tends to stick out in all directions. Since I don’t usually use many styling products, I was a bit unsure if this mousse would suit me, but it really surprised me positively. Something I really like about the product is that it contains heat protection so you can blow-dry your hair right away. I also like that the mousse contains nourishing ingredients, which is a big plus for my dry hair. At first, it was a bit hard to know how much product to use. The first time I used way too much, but after a while, all the product absorbed without the hair feeling sticky. What I like most is that the mousse helps tame frizz and gives the hair a nice texture without it feeling stiff or heavy. The hair still feels soft and natural, which is important to me since I usually don’t like the feeling of styling products in my hair. Additionally, it’s easy to brush out and the hair feels fresh even the next day. For me, this has become a product that combines styling, care, and heat protection in a very good way, and I will definitely continue to use it. Dream result on the hair, but minus for my sensitive scalp!
I had the honor from the Lyko team to be chosen as a test pilot for this Fiber Foam from Eleni & Chris! As a reference, my hair is frizzy, curly, and color-treated. I was incredibly excited to see if this formula could make any difference! So what do I think about the product? 👇☺️ To start with, the design of the bottle is insanely stylish and luxurious, and the nozzle makes it ridiculously easy to squeeze out just the right amount of foam without any mess! The texture itself is magical – the foam feels full and light when you distribute it in towel-dried hair. It leaves absolutely no stiff or sticky feeling, instead it tames frizz immediately and gives a nice natural shine. The result on the hair itself was really good, and I felt that the volume stayed all day. 😍✨ BUT, unfortunately, it doesn’t get full points from me. My scalp reacted quite strongly with both itching and burning after the 5th application. Best mousse I've tried
I got to be #testpilot for this product for a few weeks, and with that, I got to try a fiber mousse for the first time. An extra plus that got me excited was that it contains heat protection. The reason I hadn't tried fiber mousse before or am a frequent user of regular mousse is that I don't like the product feel in my hair. My hair easily gets frizzy, dry, and has a lot of baby hairs on top. I usually style my hair but rarely use styling products. I was positively surprised by this mousse; it was a bit hard to know how much product to put in my hand. The first time, it was a bit too much, but after that, I got a feel for how much I needed. Pretty okay!
This product is supposed to give volume, fullness, and hold, and it also provides natural UV protection, which means it also preserves color. Additionally, it is enriched with a lot of good ingredients that are meant to boost the hair and add shine. The description says to use an amount the size of a tennis ball, and that’s what I did the first time. However, that was too much for my hair since it’s very sticky in texture, and I quickly realized I needed to use much less! I was a bit worried it would leave a greasy residue when I started using it because it’s very sticky when it comes out. It didn’t, the product absorbed into my hair quite quickly! It definitely gives volume, I notice it when I use it and when I don’t. However, I wouldn’t say it’s a long-lasting result; it holds well right after styling but not so that I feel the volume the next day. A really good product!
A bit about my hair: Thick Frizzy Wavy I think the packaging has a nice and simple design that feels professional. The fiber foam smells fruity and fresh (a bit like the green Garnier Fructis) 💚 I applied this to towel-dried hair, and when applying the product it felt a bit sticky, so I was afraid it would leave a product feel which I don’t like, but that was absolutely not the case with this one! Really 0 product feel once it had dried in, big big plus! ⭐️ I found it easy to apply evenly through the hair. I’ve tested the product in a few different ways but when I tried blow-drying my hair upside down as it says on the bottle, WOW and OH did it give volume, YES IT REALLY DID 🦁 also helped a lot with my flyaways! Really good!
I've been trying a Fiber Foam from Eleni & Chris for a while now and think it gives really good results. For reference, I have long, fairly thick hair with natural waves. I find the mousse easy to apply and it helps give both volume and hold without the hair feeling heavy or sticky. I especially noticed that the hair got more texture when blow-drying and that the hairstyle stayed nice longer throughout the day. Fiber-rich hair
Got a task as #lykotestpilot from #elenichris to try this! I myself have long and curly hair, and the son who tested it has slightly longer hair on top of his head, and curls. The packaging is nice and simple in design, which feels like quality. The foam was a bit hard to dose, you really don’t need much at all. The son tried it on towel-dried hair and let it dry without heat. When dry, it gave bounce to the curls and hold. He doesn’t use products in his hair but likes this one! Held up well during hockey practice too. I tried putting it in dry, freshly washed hair, and blow-dried the product in. I blow-dried my hair upside down after massaging the foam into the scalp. It really got wild! The result was volume, crazy, and hold. Didn’t feel sticky after blow-drying. Also didn’t feel like you had any product in, maybe a light product but doesn’t feel like a foam with fibers. The next day it feels like you still have some product left, and I wanted to wash my hair. The product is probably not something we’ll use daily, but before events like graduation etc. to pamper the hair a bit. We like the product, but it just feels like 4/5 because it’s hard to dose the foam, and it felt a bit too much in the hair. Would recommend for those with shorter hair like a bob or short cut. But overall, a good product! Didn’t get to take a photo of the son before he took off, and the bottle ended up in his hockey trunk 😂🤷🏻♀️! I want to start by saying that I have quite thick but soft hair that easily loses its shape and becomes flat almost immediately after styling. Without styling products, my curls usually last a maximum of an hour. At the same time, I am very picky when it comes to hair products because I really dislike when hair feels stiff, sticky, or heavy. The first time I used this foam on towel-dried hair, I felt it was a bit sticky, but that feeling disappeared completely as soon as I blow-dried and styled my hair. It was still as soft and natural as after a regular hair wash, but with much more volume, while my curls became really "bouncy"😍 What impresses me the most is that my styling actually lasts for several days! I also don’t need to wash my hair as often because it still feels full and retains volume days later. Additionally, the product is very economical because a small amount is enough to get a really nice result.
