Glow Glow Glow
I have been a test pilot for this makeup product for a few weeks now. 🪞 My first impression of this glow framer was that it was a bit runny, it seemed like the contents had separated between the liquid and the pigment. Despite shaking, I recommend taking the product out on your hand and then using a brush when applying. 🧴 If you like glow, you won’t be disappointed, I have liked using it best in the same step as bronzer and before blush. Really nice as a bronzer ✨
I have had the honor of being a test pilot for this lovely all-in-one product for a few weeks now. My first impression was that it is a slightly runny formula, so I have preferred to put the product on my hand first, then work it into the brush before applying it. It glides very smoothly on the skin and lays down very evenly and nicely. I don't notice any scent, but maybe that's just my nose 😅 If you're looking for a product that gives glow, then you've found the right one! Max Factor Glow Framer Skin Tint 🫶🏼
I really love trying new glow and highlighting products because it’s something I never go without in everyday life🤩 I got the best result with this when I combined it with a lighter moisturizer that’s already a bit glowy (Beauty of Joseon), but it still gets a bit too dry on my skin. It didn’t work well with my thicker creams. I read that some found the texture runny, but I don’t think so, it’s actually thicker than I expected. I’ve tried mixing it into my tinted moisturizer, and I thought the texture got dry even before it went on the skin. I have quite dry skin this time of year and love extra glow that’s clearly visible. I usually use tinted moisturizer or BB cream and powder highlighter. Plus & minus ✅Neutralizes redness very well ✅Covers well for a tint ✅Yellowish undertone that I like ❌Feels dry on my skin ❌Didn’t give a highlighter effect over makeup Result & conclusion💭 It’s best to be careful with which color you choose depending on what you want to achieve💗I chose the color Honey, and I think the shade made it a bit tricky for me because it felt a bit too light to use as a bronzer and a bit too dark to use all over the face. For me who loves highlighters, it unfortunately didn’t give much, I who like glow definitely need a highlighter on top. However, it neutralizes redness very well. Showing on my hand because the difference is quite clear there. Really nice product that gives a super beautiful glow! ✨ I have tried using it under makeup on the whole face, on top of foundation, mixed into foundation, and only as a highlighter. For me, I prefer to use it as a highlighter under makeup to get a nice radiance that shines through, but it also works really well to apply on top of makeup. A simple product for extra glow ⭐️
I really like this skin tint! It gives the skin a beautiful glow and a natural finish without feeling heavy. I use it both under makeup for extra glow and on top of makeup when I feel the base has become a bit too much or when I want a more natural look. Then I use a damp beautyblender and gently dab a little product into the skin, which makes the makeup look more natural and fresh again. I tested the shade 10 sand, which is actually a bit too dark for my skin tone. Since the coverage is so light, it still blends nicely into the skin and the shade difference is not very noticeable. However, I would have liked to see a larger range of shades, as it can be harder to find the right color if you want to build up coverage with more layers. I also have sensitive skin and have not experienced any irritation from the product, which is a big plus for me. It is easy to use and also works on days when I just want a little extra glow without doing a full makeup. Received this product as #lykotestpilot in exchange for an honest review, as a reference I have sensitive combination skin and a neutral undertone. 📦 First impression A handy little tube that dispenses just the right amount of product without leaking, lightly scented, more liquid in consistency, shimmers nicely and super easy to work with. 💄 Usage This can be used both under and on makeup for a lovely glow. Depending on the shade, it can be used as a bronzer, highlighter, or all-over tint for a fresh glow across the entire face. I chose a shade that matches my skin tone for an all-over tint and/or a light natural highlighter under the blush on the cheeks. 👍 Pros 💚 Long-lasting 💚 Incredibly beautiful radiance 💚 Weightless formula just as promised 👎 Cons ❤️🩹 Got reactions when I used it as an all-over tint (sensitive skin) ❤️🩹 Felt very tight after a few hours 💭 Conclusion Tested this daily for 3 weeks, of which 1 week only on the cheeks as a highlighter and 2 weeks as an all-over tint. Really love how light the formula is and how easy it is to blend in, gives a very natural finish with a beautiful, fresh glow. It doesn’t get cakey at all, but I did experience that the skin felt quite tight and cried out for moisture after a few hours. The biggest downside is that the skin reacted negatively after daily use on the whole face, quite a few breakouts but thankfully no allergic reaction. As a person with sensitive skin, it’s a bit challenging to find gentle products unfortunately. Would I buy this again? Yes, absolutely! Bronzer
I have received this bronzing and illuminating tint from #maxfactor. The product comes in a squeeze tube packaging. This makes it easy and convenient to use because it allows you to get just the right amount of product out and is hygienic. The product is easy to apply and blends out smoothly. It’s convenient and gives the skin a nice, glowing feeling. However, the color was unfortunately a bit too dark for my skin tone, which meant I couldn’t use it as a tint over my entire face the way I had planned. Instead, I use it in their other recommended way, as a bronzer. It gives a nice warm color and glow to the skin and is easy to blend out. I have dry skin and therefore require that my makeup products don’t feel dry or cakey on the skin, which this product definitely did not. I am always on the lookout for good products with many uses. That’s why I quickly raised my hand when test pilots were sought for this product. Now I’ve had the chance to use it for a few weeks and have come to the following conclusions! My first impression of the product is that you get a lot for your money depending on what you intend to use the product for. I chose to try the color Hazel, which is a warm medium bronzy brown with the purpose of using it as a glowing liquid bronzer. I immediately noticed that one to two small drops are enough for that purpose in my case, so this product will last me a long time. 30ml of product for liquid bronzer is quite generous in my opinion and a fairly standard amount for a skin tint on the market. Compared to other skin tints I’ve tried, this one has a bit more “body,” meaning it doesn’t feel like running water but still has a runny and light consistency. It’s truly glow in a tube! It’s packed with reflective mica that reflects as well as some of my highlighters but with particles a bit too large to be flattering all over the face for me. I have oily combination skin and quite a bit of texture. I like to work with my skin instead of layering on and trying to hold back my natural glow. Therefore, this product is attractive in that it can be used for many things. Because of the color I chose, it didn’t quite work as a skin tint or glow under my foundation in my case. The color is way too warm. But the texture and coverage were nice, although a bit too unstable a formula for my taste to wear all over the face. It tended to crack and separate when used as a skin tint. This, however, was due to my oily skin🤗. Under foundation/skin tint it stayed more stable, but then I also used significantly less product and worked it well into the skin with my hands. It really is quick to get a nice result with it as a liquid bronzer. For me, it works best when I click out 1-2 drops into my hand, work the product well into my brush, and then dab/buff the product into the skin. Depending on how long I want my makeup to last, I powder and set the makeup with setting spray, but I don’t feel the need to lock in the product once it’s applied. It has a normal to short drying time on the skin and stays put until I’m ready to remove my makeup for the evening. If I could wish, I would choose a slightly darker and more neutral tone to get the color to work even better for me and to be able to give a more dramatic result in the form of contouring as well as a shade that works for me during the day as a skin tint. In other words, there is currently no shade where I feel I can get all the uses out of the same shade. In my opinion, the product lives up to the expectations of being a glow bomb that you can play around with depending on when in the year you want to use it, how your skin feels that day, and what effect you want to achieve. According to the product description, it is supposed to highlight your own natural features, which I find a bit vague. Do I want my texture to be highlighted? Nah. Melts into the skin
I had the opportunity to test this product as #lykotestpilot and chose the lightest shade sand. I have fair skin that here towards autumn gets drier to be both pale, ice blue/white, and dry in winter. VERSATILE BUT CHOOSE SHADE WITH CARE I think honey would have worked better as a bronzer on me. For a “darker” person, this shade can work as a highlighter; on me, the product works well as an all-over tint. It melts seamlessly into my own skin tone. I get a more even skin tone and look sun-kissed. For me, who likes natural makeup and doesn’t want to look too made-up, this was perfect. I usually tone down the glow with powder on selected areas since otherwise, you really get a nice glow. This product gives a glow, but if you apply it with water, it becomes more of a shimmer than a glow. The shade lightens a bit then and becomes more golden than golden. Worth keeping in mind if you use a brush with water, for example. I think it applies best with fingers or a sponge. The product’s consistency is quite runny, so it’s easy to blend out. With heavy sweating (read longer runs at threshold pace or other hard training), the product can ball up. Otherwise, it has worked well. Too glittery for me
When I first received the product (Glow Framer Skin Tint, in shade no. 10 sand), my first impression was that the packaging felt very plastic and not inspiring at all. After using it for a few weeks, I can now say it has both pros and cons. I tried varying how I used the product. I tested using it both as a contour/framing product on top of my base and mixing it with the base to get a glow all over the face. Pros: 💚 easy to blend/apply 💚 can be mixed into the base without it "rolling" 💚 gives a clear glow 💚 a little goes a long way Cons: ❌ hard to use in multiple ways because, in my opinion, it’s too light as a contour but a bit dark to use all over the face. You might have to choose how you want to use it and then buy a suitable shade. ❌ it definitely gives a glow, but in the form of glitter particles. I prefer when there are fewer particles that give the feeling of a radiance, but for me, this is mostly just glittery. In summary, I think there are better products out there that do what this product promises. However, this is not a bad product; it definitely gives a glow, it’s just a matter of preference how you want that glow to look. The formula is good, and the product is relatively affordable. What I think is missing for this to get 5 ⭐️ is fewer glitter particles and more inspiring packaging.
