  Gloss treatment

  I have been tasked as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER to test four luxurious hair products from #REDKEN I have bleached thick hair that easily gets oily at the roots and drier at the ends! During the testing period, I also re-toned my hair and exposed it to vacation: swimming in saltwater, pool, and sun☀️ All the products smell strongly of the same thing, and unfortunately, I didn't find the scent pleasant, and this particular treatment smells extremely strong - so definitely not for the scent-sensitive! I have used the product once a week, and it definitely makes the hair a bit softer but I don't feel like it lasts long and doesn't give as much shine as I had expected. Another downside is that it is a strong product, so gloves are required, which I find incredibly annoying.

  GAME CHANGER!

  I had the opportunity to test Redken's acidic color gloss series for three weeks, and here comes my review My hair: Long, thick, colored, has a lot of volume on its own, needs a lot of moisturizing, can get rough/frizzy with the wrong products. My absolute favorite from the whole series! It does what it promises, you get an INCREDIBLE shine and fall, and I have tested different “shine” products, in various forms and products. ✅ Gave an amazing shine that lasted in the hair for a long time. ✅ I feel that my hair color is preserved better and gets a little glow up from the shine. ❌ The scent was a bit chemical, reminded me of hair dye.   Works fine, but is a bit strong

  I had high hopes for this! But on my matte and bleached hair, I felt it didn't really show what it can do. It should be used once a week, and when I used it, my hair actually became a bit shinier, but not much… It’s also very strong, so I felt it dried out my hair, which is already a bit dry due to bleaching. As I mentioned in my review of the shampoo, I feel this is better suited for someone with colored hair who has better chances of getting shinier hair, than for someone like me with dull hair due to bleaching. I give it 3 stars as I felt it gave some shine, but not a full score as I think it was too strong for my hair. #REDKEN #lykotestpilot

  A Little Unsure

  I have tested this product along with shampoo, conditioner, and heat protectant from the same series. I'm a bit unsure about what I think, as I haven't had the chance to use the product more than once as recommended. I'm quite impatient and unfortunately can't wait 10 minutes for a hair mask to work, but that's just how it is. The one time I tested the product, I did it as recommended. My hair had a bit of a yellow tint before application, as it was time for a new round of toner. My hair is Nordic and bleached, and the color tones can be a bit uneven when it starts to go a while from the last salon visit. I experienced that my hair was very soft and shiny after use. I also think it took away some of the yellow tint in my hair, so that was very positive. Does it work as well as a blue/purple shampoo and a toner? Nja, I don't think so, but my hair was definitely very soft and shiny, and that's probably what is promised. I don't think it's stressful to use gloves for application. Most people probably have disposable gloves at home anyway. Smells like a salon product - a bit chemical, but still a very nice scent. Of all the products I've tested, this is the one I'm most unsure about so far, but I will test it again a couple of times and see if I think it's worth it. I just toned my hair again, so it will be exciting to see if it has a noticeable effect. #REDKEN #LYKOTESTPILOT

  I've been so lucky to be a test pilot for this series now. I would have liked to use up the products before I properly judged them. But in these weeks, I have washed my hair 6 or 7 times (I can't remember😅). Of all 4 in the series that I have tested, this is the one I am most unsure about🤔. I did as recommended and applied it to towel-dried hair WITH disposable gloves, and let it sit for 7-12 minutes the 3-4 times I've had it in my hair. But neither during application nor when I rinsed it out did I feel it made any difference to my hair🙈. Except maybe a little bit the first time. But all in all, I don't think it has made any significant difference to my hair whether it was included in the wash or not. But it’s possible my hair wasn’t as receptive to it, compared to the other products in the series. The last pictures of my hair were taken now while I am in Crete (the 2 first today 10/10, and the one from behind I took on 8/10 and that was the second to last hair wash (Sunday 6/10), and all in all, the series is fantastic for my hair and gives fantastic moisture, shine, and that lovely scent as if you’ve been to the hairdresser🤩.   Redken Glass Gloss Treatment Test Pilot

  I have now tested this Glass Gloss Treatment from Redken as a test pilot for 3 weeks I have tested this along with shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in from the same series! This product should be used once a week, so I have only managed to test it 3 times! I can start with a description of my hair ✅Thick hair ✅Short lengths ✅Has quite dry lengths but a rather oily scalp ✅Washes hair about 4 times a week My thoughts on the product ✅Smells good. In my opinion, it has a nice & lovely scent, but it is quite strong, so you think about it ✅It delivers what it promises. The hair becomes really shiny afterwards ✅The product is very economical, and since you only need to use it once a week, the bottle lasts a long time ✅Make sure to read exactly how to do it to get the best results! Here comes a helping hand! 👐 1. Apply the product to towel-dried hair 2. Let the product sit for about 5-10 minutes 3. Apply conditioner over the gloss treatment 4. Rinse the hair out now ✅It is a very strong product. You should actually use disposable gloves when using the product. So if you have sensitive skin, you should be careful with this! ✅It is a rather expensive product ✅The hair feels very smooth and moisturized afterwards A summary ➕ The hair becomes shiny and feels both smooth and moisturized ➕ Smells good ➕ Very economical ➖ Strong product, and it is recommended to use disposable gloves during use ➖ Quite an expensive product My hair loved this product along with the rest of the series, so I will continue to use this! ⭐ If you are looking for something that can give your hair a new life with lots of shine, I would recommend this series!   I had the honor of being a test pilot for this series in exchange for an honest review. A bit about my hair: Thin Dry Frizzy Bleached and damaged Not the best conditions. But I really like this treatment, it’s not easy to achieve a good shine in bleached and damaged hair, but this one does a great job. I’ve used it once a week and my hair feels much healthier and livelier. The effect lasts until the next wash. I should also add that I wash my hair every three days. What brings down the ratings is that gloves are recommended, why one might ask? What does it contain that leads to such a recommendation? And what effect does it have on the scalp in that case? Anyway, I like it and I haven’t used gloves and I haven’t had any weird reactions on my skin. It smells like the other products in the series, not a favorite scent for me, but I don’t think the scent lingers for too long afterward, so I can absolutely live with that. #redken #lykotestpilot

  A good product!

  A product that delivers on its promises, as it should give the hair a glossy finish. The hair becomes soft and shiny, and the results last all the way until the next hair wash. I find the product to be strong, which I'm personally not a big fan of. Therefore, I won't be using it weekly, but rather before special occasions when I want extra glossy hair. Big plus for the large bottle, this product can last a long time, which is positive when the price is a bit steep. #REDKEN #LYKOTESTPILOT

  Beautiful Shine

  I have tested this product for about 3 weeks and notice a big difference in shine 💖 in my hair. The best results come, of course, if you use the whole series, but this one makes the biggest difference when it comes to shiny hair. For me, who has had quite damaged hair after the summer, this product works wonders to make the hair look a bit alive despite everything.   I have used the entire series of Redken Color Acidic Gloss for about 1 month, and here are my thoughts on the glass gloss treatment. First, a bit about my hair: it is thick, curly, long. I have balayaged my hair lighter about 1 month ago. My hair is very demanding, and it is a must to use quality products.. It gets frizzy if I don't take good care of it. I dye my hair at my hairdresser 2-3 times a year and use products for colored hair, I usually do hair masks about once a week. But I have never used a Slik treatment before that provides longer color durability and also adds extra shine and has caring properties. 💫 Luxurious and trendy bottle design. When using, you can feel that this treatment has salon quality. 💫 Redken's first shine treatment that can be done at home, it is a luxurious hair mask that gives brilliant shine and seals the hair cuticle to add extra shine and maintain the shine. 💫 It already gives more shine with the first use. The color gets more durability and shine from within. So it has a repairing effect. 💫 The scent is strong during use, but it fades once you have washed the product out. I am very fond of this scent in the series. It smells wonderful of berries.. 💫 It contains citric acids and hydrogen peroxide, so using disposable gloves is a must, I am not product sensitive, but if you have sensitive skin, be aware of this. 💫 Thin, runny consistency that distributes easily in the hair, I would have preferred a thicker consistency for the product, easier to get it distributed evenly in my long hair. Summary of the treatment: It is a luxurious product with salon quality. Unique that you can perform this luxurious shine treatment at home. Gives color-treated hair an extended lifespan with brilliant shine, and the apricot oil and silicone also provide caring effects. The result gives a lively, cared-for appearance.   Shine for Hair

  I got this shine treatment to test and have been trying it for over 2 weeks now along with other products from the same line. This product also has a strong scent like the other products in the line, which I don't find very pleasant. This type of product is completely new to me, so the application has been a bit tricky. The product's consistency is very runny, which makes it a bit difficult to apply, in my opinion. I felt while applying that there was hardly any product in my hair, as it didn't leave any residue at all. When using the product, you need to wear disposable gloves, which I find quite cumbersome in the middle of a shower. The product is applied to the hair between shampoo and conditioner. I've noticed a bit more shine in my hair after washing than usual. However, I can't say if the shine is due to this product or the combined result of all the products in the line. I will definitely use the product up, but I don't plan to buy it again based on these results. However, my opinion may change when I get to use the product for a longer period.
