Gentle cleanser🫧💕
I have had the honor to try this cleanser from Cetaphil, and I have both positive and negative opinions about it🙌 Starting with the positives, it is a very gentle facial cleanser that does not dry out the skin and leaves a soft feeling afterward. It is also a very affordable product👍🏼 Looking at the negatives, it mostly feels like your face doesn't get completely clean. Poor product
The best thing about Cetaphil's cleanser is the bottle itself and its design. I love that it has a practical pump, which makes it easy to wash the face and dispense more product. Because if there is one thing you have to do to get a clean face, it is to use quite a lot of product. I have used it as the second step in my cleansing routine after an oil cleanser. Usually, one wash is enough to remove all dirt and makeup from the face. But this one does not remove the dirt after one wash. I have to go in 2 or 3 times to really get everything off if I've worn makeup. It works a bit better if I have skipped makeup that day. Waterproof mascara, however, is not to be thought of removing. It is mild and does not irritate my skin, nor does it sting my eyes. Even though it is a budget product, it does not become cheap in the long run considering the amount of product used. Effective and gentle
I am very satisfied with this. It cleanses the skin effectively without feeling drying or irritating. What I like most is that it is so gentle – the skin feels clean, soft, and comfortable after use. Really good!
I have had the opportunity to be a test pilot for cetaphil and it has been a pleasant assignment! The packaging is simple and functional, I like that! My skin is normal, very "gentle" and easy to care for. It can sometimes feel dry but that is easily remedied. No sensitivity, not even any wrinkles despite my advanced age ;) The cleansing is mild, cleans well and leaves the skin soft. (I have not used it on eye makeup.) The only negative is that a cream gives a slightly greasy feeling on the face, I prefer a foaming product. But that’s the only thing I wasn’t 100% happy with. Otherwise very satisfied! Gentle Skin Cleanser
It’s not the most powerful cleanser out there, but I don’t think that’s the point either. It’s mild, moisturizing, and simple – exactly the kind of product that just works. The texture is really lovely and the packaging is practical. I really like using it to wash my face in the shower. I have combination skin and don’t wear much makeup. I use retinal and really appreciate that it’s gentle and doesn’t irritate my skin. Completely okay product but very quickly used up
I have very sensitive and reactive skin but did not react at all to this. It is a very gentle product, which is fragrance-free, which I appreciate. The skin feels moisturized afterwards, meaning you don’t feel tightness etc. However, it required doing the procedure several times to feel clean, which means the product doesn’t last long and thus also loses the point of budget products. It’s probably not a product I’ll buy again because it’s so quickly used up and I prefer products that cleanse better so you don’t have to repeat the same process multiple times. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser – ⭐⭐⭐ ☆ ☆ (3/5)
I have normal skin, but it gets easily dry if I use a cleanser that is too strong. What I like about this one is that it cleanses gently without the skin feeling tight or dry afterward. It works well as an everyday cleanser, and the pump bottle makes it easy to use. What I did notice, however, is that I needed to use quite a bit of product to feel that my skin was properly cleansed. If I had makeup or sunscreen on, I also needed to supplement with another cleanser or do a double cleanse to get my skin completely clean. Therefore, it doesn’t feel very economical to use. Despite that, I think it’s a good cleanser that suits when you want something mild that doesn’t dry out the skin. I will continue to use it, but mainly on days when I don’t wear much makeup or multiple layers of SPF. This will be a product I take with me to the countryside since I only need to remove the day’s and morning’s residue. Mild facial wash🫧
I have received Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and am very pleased with it!!🩵 The cleansing is very mild and leaves the skin clean without feeling dry or tight afterwards. 🫧😇 I have used it both morning and evening and think it works well even on days when the skin feels a bit more sensitive. Didn't clean almost any of my makeup
🙋♀️ I have very sensitive, dry to combination skin that is extremely allergy prone. I also have some fine lines around my eyes and sun spots on my cheek bones. 📦 The packaging This cleanser comes in pump dispenser. I like this since I know how many pumps I need to efficiently clean my whole face. It's very easy to get the product out from the packaging. 👀 The texture and looks The cleanser has a creamy but runny consistency (hard to explain). It's very lightweight. The consistency is like someone watered down a cream. It is milky in color and it mildly soaps up when mixed with hands and later with water. 👃 The smell There's a scent to this cleanser, but I cannot say what it is. It's not unpleasant and it doesn't linger on the skin. For me it reminds me of some cream but I have no idea which one. 🤔 My opinion As you can see on the pictures I did a cleansing test on my arm. This is a gentle cleanser and it didn't do the job very well. A lot of the makeup was still left after I used A LOT of the cleanser. Not to mention it even transfered some makeup and glitter on my other arm that I used to rub the cleanser into the skin. I didn't even use any waterproof makeup so I'm very disappointed with the results. I used this as a 1st cleanser or my only cleanser in the morning and evenings when I didn't wear makeup. It worked OK then. It didn't cause any dryness or tightness of my skin after I used it. I felt like my skin was hydrated after using it. So that was a plus. In summary, this is a cleanser you can use if you're not wearing any makeup. It will keep your skin hydrated but it won't do anything if you have any makeup. I think it would work best as a 2nd cleanser though since it isn't efficient at removing almost any of the makeup. I have been using this cleanser for about three weeks now and I really like it. I have sensitive skin and my hormonal breakouts usually look like the pictures above 🥲. I am always careful when trying new cleansers. Many make the skin feel dry and tight afterwards, but this one doesn’t at all 💃🏻. The skin feels clean, soft, and hydrated after every wash. I’ve noticed that my pimples have calmed down and that I don’t get as many new breakouts. It has also helped reduce redness a bit, which is a big plus for me. I like that it is so mild and that it doesn’t contain any strong fragrance. It feels nice to use both in the morning and evening and works well with the rest of my skincare routine. What I first reacted to was that it didn’t foam up at all, but gradually I still thought the cleanser worked despite the texture 🫶🏼. Mild cheap cleansing
So fun to be a test pilot for this product cethapil. Good packaging with a pump. I have used the product for 3 weeks every morning and evening. A bit thin and runny in consistency. It doesn’t foam, you need to use a larger amount or repeat the procedure twice for the skin to feel clean. Has a softening effect as promised. Does not remove mascara but works well to remove other makeup. Has a moisturizing effect on my skin and it matches what the product promises, good for dry and sensitive skin. The product is cheap and fragrance-free. Downside is that you need to do the procedure at least 2 times for the skin to get clean.
