Great SPF!! ☀️
I have been testing this day cream with SPF for a week now. A bit of a short testing period, but it was a bit shorter deadline than usual. And I have managed to get a pretty good impression of the cream. ☺️ I must say: HOW beautiful are the looks of Lyko's own products/packaging?! I love!!! 🤩 And that we are becoming more and more aware that it is important to use sun protection. So this is described as a light day cream that also works as a primer. I have used it as a regular day cream. I have normal to dry skin. I find that the cream absorbs easily into the skin and leaves no “white cast.” However, I can feel that it doesn’t soften my skin deeply, and I can feel a bit tight afterwards. I tried using it without a primer, since it was supposed to work as a primer too. It works fine with foundation on top! But in my case (which has a bit of dry skin), it felt better with a “hydrating” primer on top of the cream, and before foundation. The cream has a fantastically good scent! It smells like the best sunscreen ever. 🥰 I would have liked to see this tube with a snap cap instead of a screw cap, for convenience. Day cream with SPF!
As a #lykoinflutester, I have this time tested new products from #BYLYKO This day cream promises a lot! Who wouldn’t want a day cream that has SPF?! Especially now that spring is here and the sun is peeking out☀️ I love products that work as more than one thing! 🥰 It can also be used as a primer under makeup! Absolutely wonderful🥹😍 + points for the fresh color of the product! I really love Lyko's own products as they often have sickly beautiful designs. - points for the scent. I don’t know if it’s the chamomile?? (I usually don’t have problems with such scents) but the cream smells way too strong for me and therefore I avoid using it! I suffer from migraines and therefore become extremely sensitive to scents when the migraine is in the air. The scent from this cream stings for me and lasts way too long for me to be able to use it unfortunately… which means I can only give the product 2 stars! I also think, sorry for the expression, that the cream smells a bit old lady.. as it reminds me of my grandmother😅 so no.. the scent is not for me! If it had smelled less/differently, I would have LOVED it!! I also wish there was some other kind of opening on the bottle than a screw cap as it feels a bit clunky.Translated from swedish

Pretty okay budget sunscreen 🌤️
I got to test LYKOs new Ray Away Day Cream SPF30! 🧴 I use sunscreen every day and have managed to test quite a bit, especially those made for the face. Many of my favorites come from South Korean brands, so I was super excited to try LYKOs own. Since my skin is a bit extra sensitive and acne-prone, I’m quite picky about what I put on it. A good sunscreen should not only protect, it should also feel nice and not give me breakouts. This one has SPF 30, which works, but I would have preferred SPF 50 to feel really secure, especially before summer. I also think it should be clearer on the packaging how much to use, it’s so easy to use too little! I personally go for the "two finger-lengths" trick (index and middle finger), and with that amount, it took a while to work the cream into my skin. But once it sunk in, the finish was really nice, no white cast on my fair skin, just a soft glow ✨ The scent is slightly sweet. I’m not directly bothered by it, but I would have preferred it to be fragrance-free anyway. I haven’t burned during the testing period, but it should be noted that it was March/April, so not exactly scorching sun on the menu 😅 All in all: a pretty okay sunscreen! Practical and good for the price!
The first impression of this sunscreen was so good; fresh design and color choice (Lyko design upgrade - I'm here for it!!) the size of the cream also makes it practical and easy to fit everywhere; both at home and on the go! Personally, I think all sunscreens have a distinct scent, but I can't quite place this one.. it's somewhat strong, but if you're among those who like, for example, Chloe Nomade perfume, this could be your thing.. The consistency is lovely, melts into the skin, easy to spread, and feels like a nice light moisturizer. Can also be applied in multiple layers without it feeling weird or uncomfortable - so that's a plus for me. The kids in the house also like this, the 12-year-old likes the scent, the 6-year-old loves that it's so easy to handle by themselves. #lykoinflutester #bylykoTranslated from norwegian

Ray Away Day Cream SPF30 I had the honor of testing this lovely cream from lyko! I have a dry and sensitive skin type that can easily react to strong creams and creams with a lot of perfume in them. With this cream, I haven't had any reaction at all; my sensitive skin seems to tolerate it. However, I wouldn't apply it to my children as I think it smells a bit too strong, even though it is a lovely scent. The packaging has a pretty simple design but is totally fine. The formula is creamy and nice to apply. It has a fantastic scent. Feels moisturizing. I experience that it crumbles a bit if you have too much under your makeup. You don't get a white cast when you apply it. A cream you can easily take to the beach for sun protection. The lid could be different, I don't like screw caps. A Light & Airy Day Cream!
As a #Influtester, I have used Ray Away Day Cream, SPF 30 for about 2 weeks. A bit short time for a day cream. I already like this a lot though 🥰 Convenient, pretty pink tube. Easy to carry in my bag. I like Lyko's own products. Perfect with SPF in the day cream. Works great to use makeup after this, like a primer. My skin type: I have combination skin. Oily T-zones. Acne-prone & dry skin. Applied in the morning as the last step in my skincare routine. The whole face. Massage in a generous amount. Pleasant to use. Absorbs quickly. Creamy, lighter pink consistency. Protects against UVA & UVB. The skin feels really smooth, soft & hydrated. Gives a nice glow. Affordable. Smells lovely. Contains glycerin, chamomile & vitamin E. Nice product, but no full score
I have, as an Influtester, had the opportunity to test Lyko's new day cream/SPF. Super fun! ☺️ During the testing period, the weather has only been mediocre with limited sun, and SPF 30 might be enough, but I would have liked to see it as SPF 50 if I'm going to use it in the summer. The scent is incredibly sweet, like candy? I can imagine that there are others who like it, but for me (who prefers more scent-neutral products/natural scents on my face) it is just way, way too intensely sweet for a regular workday. 😅 It gives a really nice glow, and it works great as a primer before makeup. The makeup applies nicely and stays well all day! 👌🏻 I have used it as the last step in my routine, and I, who don't really have major issues with my skin (neither oily nor dry), still feel that my skin dries out a bit, so I would have wished it was a bit more moisturizing. At least if you're going to use it as a standalone day cream, of course, you can supplement with another, moisturizing cream. As a primer, it is definitely approved, also as a glow-giving product. But as sun protection and as a standalone face cream, it unfortunately falls a bit too short for me to buy it. #LykoInflutester #ByLykoTranslated from swedish

So much glow!
This cream is described as a light day cream that also works as a primer, and makes beautiful skin glow while protecting you from UV rays. And it delivers on its promises! 💖 The consistency of this sunscreen is super nice, it’s light and blends easily into the skin, absorbs quickly & leaves no white cast. Plus, you look very fresh and glowy! I suspect it’s the chamomile that leaves a little extra scent beyond the classic “spf” scent, but for me, it’s not bothersome, it doesn’t smell super strong 🌼 There’s one thing that brings down the rating for me, and that’s that it’s “only” spf30 in this. I always use spf50 on my face & décolletage. So this is not something I would buy again, even though it ticks all the other boxes for me! I have been lucky enough to try this day cream with SPF 30 from #bylyko as a #lykoinflutester. The testing period was a bit shorter than usual, but I have still been able to form a good opinion about the product. How pretty is that pink packaging😍 A little ➖ for the fact that it has a screw cap on the tube. It has a quite thin consistency and doesn't smell like anything special. I have used this product as a replacement for my moisturizer in my morning routine. It absorbs quickly into the skin, and you feel hydrated and fresh🥰 Sits fantastically well under makeup. I will use this during the fall and winter. Since I prefer SPF 50 on my face during spring and summer☀️ This gem gets 4 stars🌟 Will definitely repurchase due to a very good price🥰Translated from swedish

For low spf
Got shorter testing time than usual on this, so I actually have nothing to say about whether it actually protects the skin well... Something I quickly notice in my face since I have a lot of melasma that flares up FAST in 🌞🤭🤷 Starting with the screw cap, it is inconvenient on sunscreen because I think it gets so clumsy to screw it back on after you’ve applied it.... Those who know, know.... 😝 The appearance of the sunscreen and actually skincare in general is not something I’m very particular about, but more concerned that the product is top notch🤌 The scent....... Well.... Perfume in skincare usually works fine, but this scent is myyye... Very floral scent, but it thankfully disappeared quickly. I have a slightly oilier/combination skin in the summer and usually switch to lighter and more hydrating products, because otherwise I get those little bumps and small pimples that just come throughout the day😵 So I felt right away that I couldn’t use this as a regular sunscreen because it just sat on top, didn’t absorb throughout the day... No stinging in the eyes or itching, so that’s good!! No white cast. But it got sticky on my skin... But I tried it as a primer under makeup... There it was lovely!!! The makeup looked almost like I had a mobile filter on🤩 So since my husband has a drier skin type and wants a sunscreen that can replace his day cream in the summer, he was willing to try🤗 This has become his new favorite, it absorbed quickly into his skin, it doesn’t feel on the skin and doesn’t show either because he didn’t want that "glow" that ladies want☝️😂 and it gave him the desired moisture without feeling tight or too oily/sticky. He didn’t mind the scent as it disappeared quickly, and the price is actually high considering the amount, but how long this tube lasts, I don’t know... But I’m taking off 2 stars for way too low SPF in my opinion, and how it works in practice, I don’t know, so you’ll have to try it out for yourselves because it’s worth a shot. #Lykoinflutester #bylyko #lykoTranslated from norwegian

Light day cream with SPF and lovely scent 🌺
This day cream with SPF 30 has really impressed me. It has a wonderfully mild chamomile scent that feels both fresh and soothing – perfect in the morning when you want to start the day softly. I really like that the cream gives a natural glow to the skin and that it works so well under makeup. The formula is light and absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky, which I appreciate. However, as someone with dry skin, I find that it doesn't quite provide enough moisture on its own – so I use it on top of my regular face cream. Then it works super well, and I get both protection and comfort all day long. Absolutely amazing!
I was lucky to try this new sunscreen from Lyko's own brand! I have to say I am always skeptical about new sun products, but this one impressed me! It smells very summery and clean, so when I applied it to my face, I just felt very fresh! It's really great that Lyko's brand is also coming out with sunscreens that are long-lasting and not to mention cheaper than other sunscreens!
