Checking my boxes!
This night cream is something I, as a #lykoinflutester, have had the chance to test over the past month. I have replaced the cream I usually use in the evenings with this one, so my evening skincare routine now consists of double cleansing, exfoliation with glycolic acid/facial toner with PHA, ACO Purifying Booster, and this ACO Purifying Night Balm. I am 41 years old and my skin is oily. I've always had more or less problems with pimples but started to think it had gotten better with age. But then I had the worst breakout just over a month ago, so apparently not 😒 As the name suggests, this is a thicker cream than the day cream, but not greasy. It comes, just like the day cream, in a 50 ml plastic tube with a screw cap. I have no complaints about the packaging. I like the ingredient list which includes panthenol (moisturizing and soothing), glycerin (nurturing), sarcosine (oil-regulating), papain (mild exfoliating). I think the cream feels very gentle, nurturing, and soothing. As mentioned, it is a bit thicker, but still absorbs well into the skin. I look forward to this cream in the evening, and it feels like a good finish to my skincare routine. As I have also mentioned in my reviews of the day cream and booster, I don't feel that the series has done anything significant to improve the condition my face is currently in, but I suspect the causes are hormonal, so it doesn't really matter much which skincare you use. What I try to prioritize is being gentle to the skin, and I feel this night balm checks my boxes! The fact that the price is really good doesn't hurt either. I recommend it and could consider buying it in the future! #aco #lykoinflutester #nattkräm154 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Darn it!
I have tried serum, day cream, and night cream. I have large pores, small pimples, and occasional breakouts. Now for the review! The night cream has a significantly thicker consistency than the day cream and feels more like a classic, moisturizing evening product. I also really like the hygienic packaging here, which means you don’t have to stick your fingers into a jar. A minor detail is that I prefer a cap you can flip open instead of unscrewing, but oh well 😂 Unfortunately, I also got a skin reaction from this one. I tested the products in the series individually to see if there was a specific product I reacted to, but I get a reaction from all that I have tried. I usually can use many different skincare products and have never before reacted to all products in this way, or really ever had a reaction to any product ever, so unfortunately this was not a hit for my skin 😩 #lykoinflutester #aco173 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Smooth but a bit too light for me 🌙
I had quite high expectations for this night cream, especially since it's called Night Balm, so I imagined a slightly thicker and creamier product. But it’s significantly lighter in texture than I thought. However, it’s incredibly smooth! It feels very pleasant to apply and spreads so nicely on the skin. Unfortunately, the hydration wasn’t quite enough for me. I tried using it as the last step in my evening routine but actually woke up feeling like my skin was dry. That’s not something I usually experience very often, since I have fairly balanced skin with a slightly oilier T-zone. For me, it therefore needs to be complemented with a thicker cream on top or a sleeping pack for the skin to feel properly hydrated overnight, though I would say my skin tone has appeared more even 🩵 + Incredibly smooth and pleasant + Lighter texture that might suit those who don’t like heavy night creams - Thinner/lighter than I expected from a product called balm - Didn’t suffice as the last step for my skin - Woke up with a drier feeling in my skin #lykoinflutester #aco #skincare #nattkräm #nightbalm - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Very basic
💙As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this cream from #aco! 💙 This is a nice and pleasant night cream that above all does what I expect from a regular moisturizing cream. It feels soft and hydrating on the skin and works well in the evening, without feeling uncomfortably heavy or greasy. However, I didn’t feel it did much beyond moisturizing. The ingredients are quite simple, and for me, it wasn’t enough as the only product in my evening routine. I will probably need to complement it with other serums and active ingredients, for example for anti-aging. I also didn’t notice any particular changes in skin texture or pores that I could link specifically to the night cream. When I started the test period, I had an acne breakout along my jawline. After about three weeks, it had completely healed, which you can see in my before and after photos, and I didn’t feel the cream caused any new breakouts. So my skin seemed to do well with it even when it was more acne-prone. The cream is supposed to be exfoliating, which I can be a bit sensitive to and usually don’t reach for in products I use daily, but I experienced no problems even though I used it every night for four weeks. Maybe it could conflict if I use other active ingredients. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the cream, it’s nice, moisturizing, and worked well on my skin, but for me, it feels a bit too basic for me to buy it again. I would have liked a bit more than just hydration from a night cream. But for a regular night cream for maybe younger, acne-prone skin, it’s great! Mild, fragrance-free, and reasonably priced.43 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 2 weeksRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Like it!
One of the products I recently got to try as #LYKOINFLUTESTER is #aco’s new Face Purifying Night Balm; which is a night cream that should hydrate the skin but also make it clearer and balanced. About me and my skin: I am 20 years old and have oily/combination skin. I have had some issues with pimples and pores over the years, and products with perfume often don’t work so well for me. First impression: The packaging was basically identical to the day cream: minimalist and easy to use. So far so good! 🤗 The texture was nice – a bit richer than the day cream but still pleasant. What attracts me is that it says blemish control, while also being nourishing and soothing, which sounds exactly like what I need in a night cream. Result: I haven’t reacted to it like I can with some products – helps that it’s perfume-free and non-comedogenic. Good to get moisture without waking up feeling like my skin is super oily. Feels like it has helped strengthen my skin barrier without clogging my pores! Nice night cream! Recommend 🥰92 views - The post was made 2 weeksRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Long-lasting moisturizing
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this night cream from #aco. I have combination skin that I must admit I only care for sporadically. + it is fragrance-free + slightly thicker consistency than the day cream but doesn’t feel greasy + absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a sticky feeling + still moisturized when I wake up + reasonably thick tube that is not hard to get the product out of - skeptical about the Purifying claim - screw cap instead of a lid25 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Completely okay
As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try the #ACO Purifying series. Day Cream, Booster Serum (BHA), and Night Balm. I have combination skin and use skincare daily. My first impressions of the Purifying series are positive. The packaging feels nice and is easy to use. The day and night creams have the same type of packaging, but the large and clear text makes it easy to see which is which. All products are fragrance-free, which I think is a plus. The night balm has a thicker consistency than the day cream but doesn’t feel too greasy, which I like. The skin felt very comfortable after application, and the balm gave a moisturized feeling without becoming overly sticky or oily. I also felt that the skin felt calm and comfortable after use. I still got some pimples while using the series, so unfortunately, I didn’t experience any clear “purifying” effect. For the price, I still think the product is completely okay!121 views - The post was made 2 weeksRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Nice night cream
As a Lyko Influtester, I have had the opportunity to test the Face Purifying Night Balm from ACO. Night creams have sometimes been part of my skincare routine but not as frequently as I would have liked. Night creams have sometimes been used because I found it easier to use a night cream for hydration regardless of whether it absorbed quickly into the skin or not. I have some oilier zones and drier zones on my face. The Purifying Night Balm from ACO absorbs quickly into the skin and does not leave it sticky or greasy. It comes in a convenient packaging where it is easy to apply the right amount of product directly. The texture of the product is moderately firm and slightly greasier than the day cream but very easy to apply. It has no scent, which makes it suitable for everyone. This one has also shown results on the pores, which are less visible after using the product for a while. #lykoinflutester #aco37 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Meh
As a Lyko influencer, I got to try this night balm, here is my opinion - I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, dry cheeks, and it’s also somewhat sensitive. There’s a lot to like about this night balm, the texture is wonderfully pleasant, it absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue, and the skin felt really well moisturized. An extra plus is that it’s completely fragrance-free, which is perfect for me since I’m a bit sensitive to scents. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out. After using it for a while, I noticed the product unfortunately gave me pimples, which was a shame for an otherwise lovely cream. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a match for my skin in the long run! #lykoinflutester #aco125 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 2 weeksRating: 2 out of 5
Pretty standard
As a #influtester, I got to test the purifying series from #aco. I used the combination of booster serum, day cream, and night cream over a period. I have combination skin with both dry and oily areas and often get pimples even though I’m 36 years old, but I choose to think of them as teenage pimples 😉 I don’t have sensitive skin by definition, but I’m under investigation for MCAS as my skin can flare up unprovoked. This tends to happen when I change my skincare routine, but to my great joy, I didn’t react at all when testing this series! 🎉 First impression is that it’s a very sleek series with nice packaging. The fact that it’s fragrance-free is a plus since it also suits sensitive noses, so to speak. It would have gotten an even higher rating if the night cream had a pump bottle! But the cap is still easy to screw off and on. A little goes a long way, and that’s common for the whole series; you don’t need much product to spread it over the entire face. Unlike the rest of the series, I unfortunately felt that the night cream left a greasy layer on the skin. Granted, it’s good that it’s a bit richer if, like me, you toss and turn like a helicopter in bed 🙈, so the skin feels moisturized when you wake up. However, it still feels greasy even after the whole night, and I would have preferred to feel only moisturized without the greasy feeling in the morning, so to speak. It’s hard to separate the reviews when it comes to results since I used the series in combination. But what I noticed was that I initially got worse with more pimples, which I think is a completely normal reaction from the skin regardless of when you change your skincare routine. But it settled down after a while and went back to normal. Unfortunately, it’s normal for me to have some pimples, so it neither got better nor worse compared to before. Price-wise, I would say it’s a very good price for the amount you get. Will I switch my routine to this? Doubtful, since I didn’t get better results than my usual routine gives me, but I will use up all the products. For those looking for a new routine, I definitely think it’s worth trying and would recommend it. The double picture is before changing the skincare routine and a few days in. The single picture is after some time of use.15 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 2 weeksRating: 5 out of 5Verifierad testare
Super! 🤩
As a #lykoinflutester, I have received products from the purifying series from #aco ✨ I have used the products daily for about a month, so here is my review of the night cream: My skin type is combination, oily in the T-zone with a tendency to dry patches. I also tend to get acne and clogged pores easily. Many night creams tend to cause me acne or clogged pores, but not this one! A big plus is that the skin really feels deeply moisturized after application and that it absorbs quickly. Just like the day cream from the same series, the night cream is also very economical. The best effect is achieved together with the other products in the series (serum and day cream). With all the products in the series, I have managed to keep acne away. I have nothing negative to say about this one. Also affordable. Definitely 5/5 🌟24 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 2 weeksRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Pretty okay
I have received these three new products from Aco via Lyko as a #lykoinflutester assignment to test and review. Their Purifying series is supposed to prevent impurities, reduce redness, strengthen the skin barrier, exfoliate, and moisturize. I have sensitive combination skin and have used these every other day combined with different products in the other steps of my morning and evening routine. I think the packaging is nice and it’s fun to try products from Aco. The night cream says balm, so I expected a rich cream, but I think it’s like the day cream when you apply it and maybe a bit harder to get out. And just like the day cream, some days it irritates me and I think it’s because it doesn’t work well with another product in my routine since I’ve tested with less and more, etc. But some days it does that and others it doesn’t. That’s one thing I don’t like, but on the days it doesn’t, it’s a pretty okay cream, nothing wow. #aco36 views
