Bra retinol, bra pris!
Gillar dennna retinol väldigt mycket, den gör sitt jobb och känns inte kletig eller obekväm på huden. #lykoreview8 likes7714 viewsto leave a comment - 6 days

Gets pimples
I wish I could use this serum as I would benefit from its advantages. But unfortunately, I only get pimples after a few days of use.1406 views- Customer service at Lyko4 weeksHey Ida Hopefully, you can actually benefit from this product's advantages if you give it a little more time What can happen when introducing new skincare is that a detox process begins. This means that the skin cleans away old residues, so when you start using new products, the skin takes care of this "restorer" by itself. Reactions like pimples, dryness, or slight redness on the skin are completely normal but can be annoying, of course. But hang in there! This is a cleansing process that happens at the beginning and can last for a few weeks before the product delivers the results it should Fingers crossed that it just needs a little more of your time!

Red cheeks
I have tried this, but my cheeks turn red and feel burning. Can't I use it for my sensitive skin or how can I get used to it? I am 43 and have sensitive skin and have tried to use it about every three days.4 likes1928 views- Employees at Lyko1 monthHey Maria! If your skin reacts with redness and stinging from this product, you can try these tips 🤖 Reduce usage: Start with once a week and gradually increase. 🤖 Moisturizer first: Apply a moisturizing cream before and after the retinoid. 🤖 Small amount: Use only a pea-sized amount for the entire face, avoiding sensitive areas. 🤖 Damp skin: Apply the retinoid on damp skin for extra protection. 🤖 Protect the skin: Use SPF 30-50 daily and strengthen the skin with soothing products like ceramides and panthenol. Take care!1 likes

Azelaic acid
Can I use this together with azelaic acid from The Ordinary, and in what order? I am 47 and would love to receive tips if there is anything else to add to my routine, which currently only includes azelaic acid, moisturizing cream, and cleansing.1560 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Lisa! Yes, it works really well to use them together. Make sure to gradually introduce your skin to the new combination to reduce irritation Something I recommend adding to your routine is a peeling! Here’s a tip lyko.com/sv/dermalogica/dermalogica-daily-microfoliant-13g Take care!

When in the routine
When in the routine should I apply this? Before or after serum & essence?1360 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Olivia I would recommend adding this product to your evening routine as retinoids can make the skin more sensitive to the sun The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion should be applied after toner and essence, but before your serum in your skincare routine Take care!2 likes

Moisturizer afterwards?
According to your guide for The Ordinary - mature skin, the evening routine should end with this. Is that really correct? Shouldn't you apply a moisturizer afterwards?1657 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Marta Maria Kristina! 👋 I would recommend you apply a moisturizer after this as the last step to give your skin moisture. The risk of using the retinoid as the last step is that the skin might feel a bit tight 🤭 Take care! 🥰1 likes

squalane ?
Hey! What is actually the difference between this and, for example, Retinol 0.2% in Squalane? I bought it and understood that I should increase to 0.5 later. But is this product actually 2% on the same scale? d :) regards1368 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey Emma! 👋🤩 Granactive Retinoid 2% is milder and less irritating than pure retinol, making it gentler and a good alternative for sensitive skin or those who haven't used retinoids before.🤩 Retinol 0.2% is a mild concentration of pure retinol but can cause more irritation than granactive retinoid. When using retinol, it can be good to start with a low concentration and gradually increase. 🤭 Yes, you can gradually increase to a higher concentration, such as 0.5% retinol or a higher concentration of granactive retinoid. But since granactive retinoid is milder than pure retinol, you need to gradually acclimate your skin if you increase to Retinol 0.2% in Squalane. Take care! 🌠3 likes

Good product but skeptical about the alcohol
Since this contains Cetearyl Alcohol, which my skin tends to break out from, I've noticed lately after using this & Cerave Pm moisturizer that also contains it (comes from coconut, I understood, my skin doesn't like that) but I thought about switching to the retinol variants since I saw they don't contain it. I've been using this for maybe 1 month now, gradually increasing, my skin handles it fine except for breakouts, but it could have been Cerave Pm as well or both, but can I start with Ordinary retinol 0.5% & gradually increase on that or do I have to start with 0.2% which feels a bit like a step back from what I've been using now?1185 viewsto leave a comment - 2 months
Switch
Which "stronger" one do you switch to after using this for a few weeks/months?😌 I really like this one!⭐️
The OrdinaryRetinoidsGranactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion 30 ml
A Stable Emulsion of Next-Generation Forms of Retinoid.
This formulation combines two forms of next-generation retinoid actives in a combined concentration of 2% by weight.
These two actives are:
a) Solubilized Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate is a highly-advanced form of retinoid which is, in fact, a non-prescription ester of all-trans direct retinoic acid that offers a multi-fold better effect against signs of ageing than retinol, retinyl palmitate and nearly all other forms of non-prescription retinoid;
b) a sustained-delivery form of pure retinol in a protective capsule system which supports both the delivery and the effect of Solubilized Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate.
Both forms of retinoid used avoid the irritation associated with retinoid (including retinol) use while delivering better visible results against signs of ageing.
Use:
Apply a few drops to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Use sun protection in the AM.
