A cream for those who like a little glow
Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 I have been testing this product for almost a month now. As a reference, I have a dry skin type. This is a day cream with SPF 50. SPF is a bonus but does not replace the use of sun protection. The cream comes in a pump bottle, which I find convenient as it reduces mess and simplifies dispensing. The cream has a pleasant scent but a slight scent of sun protection. It’s not overwhelming, but you can still feel that scent is there. The cream itself blends easily into the skin and moisturizes well. The finish is on the glossier side but less noticeable when fully absorbed. It might be a bit too rich for oilier skin types. The price is higher, and honestly, there are many good creams in lower price ranges that are just as effective. Lovely protection in theory, but too harsh for my face
I had very high expectations for this because Dermalogica usually delivers good products, and the idea of a day cream that has both anti-age and SPF 50 in one is really optimal! The texture itself is really lovely, it feels luxurious and absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving that typical white, greasy film you usually get from strong sunscreens. But unfortunately, my face reacted quite quickly. After just two days of use, I woke up with red patches, and it stung badly on my cheeks. It's probably the sunscreen filter or some other active ingredient that was just too strong for me. Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50☀️
I was so lucky to get to test this line from #dermalogica as #lykotestpilot! 🤍 I love products that combine skincare and high sun protection! 🌞 I tried this myself first, and it felt very comfortable on the skin. Still, I felt, just like with the serum, that the anti-aging properties were hard to assess on my 23-year-old skin. So I let my mom continue testing. She was very impressed! 🤍 She experienced that the product absorbed quickly, gave lots of moisture, and left no white residue. It gave the skin a natural and nice glow without feeling greasy, and also worked very well under makeup. She especially liked that she got both day cream and SPF 50 in one product, which made it easy to use every single day. This is a product I would absolutely recommend to you with dry or mature skin who want a good day cream with high sun protection. Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50
I have had the opportunity to test this product, and it has truly been fun to try a sunscreen that also feels like a skincare product. The first thing I noticed was the sleek and convenient packaging with a pump, which makes it easy and hygienic to use. The cream has a soft and smooth formula that is easy to apply. It absorbs surprisingly quickly without leaving a white cast or feeling sticky, which I really appreciate in an SPF. On the skin, it feels moisturizing and comfortable throughout the day. It also works very well under makeup because it doesn’t ball up or make the skin oily. Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50
I have used Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 daily for four weeks as the last step in my skincare routine. I have normal skin, and for me, this has worked very well both as a day cream and sun protection. The cream has a light and pleasant texture that absorbs quickly into the skin while providing plenty of moisture. The skin feels soft throughout the day, and I find that the moisture lasts a long time without needing to reapply. It also leaves a nice glow that makes the skin look fresh and healthy. I use sunscreen every single day, regardless of the season, so it’s very convenient to have high sun protection in the day cream. The cream has a bit more fragrance than the other Dermalogica products I’ve tested. The scent is still pleasant and not overwhelming, but if you are very sensitive to perfume, it might be worth noting. I found that the product did not clog my pores or cause breakouts. For my normal skin, it worked excellently, but I think it might feel a bit rich or oily for people with very oily skin. The product promises, among other things, to increase skin firmness, elasticity, and moisture levels and reduce the visibility of fine lines after eight weeks of use. I used the product for four weeks, so the test period was shorter than the manufacturer recommends to see full effect. Still, I noticed that my fine lines became less visible, especially when I used this together with Dermalogica Phyto Nature E2, which I also tested. The two products seem to complement each other well and gave my skin a smoother, more even, and more hydrated appearance. I don’t have pigmentation spots, so I can’t comment on the effect on uneven pigmentation. Day cream with a nice glow and SPF!
I have tested this cream for a couple of weeks and really like it. I have combination skin and tend to get shiny in the T-zone, which I also experience with this one after a few hours – but that happens with most SPF creams. The cream is light but takes a little time to work into the skin. But once absorbed, it melts in nicely and gives a very nice glow. It also works great under makeup and blends very well with the CC cream I usually use. A plus is the anti-age effect, although I haven’t seen any visible results after just a couple of weeks of use. It has a fresh scent like most other Dermalogica products. It doesn’t bother me, but I know some people think facial products shouldn’t have so much perfume. Minus for the price. I think there are other good day creams with SPF at a lower price point. ✨ Lovely and pleasantly scented cream ✨
I have now tested this day cream, which also contains sun protection, for a few weeks. I was positively surprised by this product as it really softens the skin and makes it look so smooth and nice! The cream is light and nice, it absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves no greasy residue on my combination/normal skin. The container itself is also very light and convenient to carry in a bag. I have used this under makeup and it works perfectly, it doesn’t feel sticky at all. Some other sunscreens can get a bit oily or sticky under makeup, but not this one. I also haven’t noticed any risk of sunburn when using the cream. It’s very easy to apply the cream via the pump function, which I really appreciate! I also think it smells really good, not like a typical sunscreen but more fresh and refreshing. However, it is expensive, so for the amount you get, it can become quite costly if you need to buy this cream multiple times. Then I can still imagine that there are cheaper alternatives that are just as good. Day Cream with SPF and Anti-Age
I have been lucky to be a test pilot for some luxurious products from Dermalogica. Here is my review after a few weeks of using Dynamic Skin - Recovery SPF50 50 ml. 🤍 Before I read about the product, it seemed like a great day cream with SPF and its anti-age properties. I have a bit of trouble with sunscreens that are too greasy since I have acne-prone skin, so my T-zone gets oily easily. This is a skin cream with SPF, so it’s not something I would use all day in the sun as I burn easily and it needs to be reapplied often and in larger amounts, but definitely for everyday use. ☀️ The skin gets a nice glow, no whitecast but the formula is a bit too greasy for me. I have tested Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 throughout the test period, and it has quickly become one of my favorite products in my morning routine! 🥰 The first thing I noticed was how light and pleasant it feels on the skin. Despite being a sunscreen with SPF50, it absorbs incredibly quickly without feeling heavy or sticky. I also experience no “whitecast,” which is very important. The skin looks immediately fresh, healthy, and glowing after application. ✨ I’m in my late 20s and very focused on products that both protect the skin and provide plenty of moisture. My skin thrives best when it’s well hydrated, and this cream really delivers on that. It provides long-lasting moisture throughout the day while the skin feels soft, comfortable, and balanced. 💛 One thing I especially like about the product is that it combines high sun protection with skin-caring ingredients. It protects against UV rays while working on the skin’s firmness, elasticity, and moisture level. Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50
I got the opportunity to try and review this day cream with SPF 50. The consistency is perfect. I really like this type of cream. It is soft and a little bit oily in texture but leaves a natural glow. It arrived just in time for a sun vacation, so I apply this in the morning before sun exposure and supplement after a few hours with regular sunscreen. I have not yet experienced any sign of burning when I have only had this on my face. It feels very comfortable on the skin, provides good moisture and good SPF. However, it is a pity that it contains essential oils and "fragrance". The scent is mild and reminds a bit of tea and is really not overwhelming in any way. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily trigger it. The price is a bit high. There are other creams that give a similar feeling at a lower price. But this one is supposed to be deeply effective and counteract breakdown in the skin. I have now used this product for 3 weeks and SPF is always something I use daily every morning! Unfortunately, this product really clashed with my skin! It didn’t absorb into the skin as one would have hoped, instead you could feel the product on the face. Since it didn’t absorb properly, I also noticed the product starting to flake off throughout the day on my face. I tried combining this with Dermalogica’s other products and using the SPF as the last step in my routine, but it was not at all the result I wanted. I also noticed I got bumps/pimples on my skin from this product, which is unfortunate! The function and application of the product itself is good, the cream is neither too thick nor too runny. As a #lykotestpilot, I received three products from #dermalogica, and one of the products is this cream with SPF 50 (which we like, right?). Before I break down my thoughts, I want to tell you a bit about my skin and what the cream promises: 🌱 Dry skin 🌱 Freckles 🌱 Red areas 🌱 Requires gentle exfoliation and moisturizing ingredients 🌱 Fine lines around the eyes Dynamic skin promises: 🌱 Improve firmness and elasticity 🌱 Inhibit uneven pigmentation 🌱 Stimulate the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen If you look at the pictures Dermalogica themselves posted of a person with forehead wrinkles, it shows a significant effect after just two weeks of use. I don’t see that effect on myself, of course, the person and I don’t have the same skin, but the "advertisement" is pretty straightforward: less visible wrinkles. In my case, that’s not visible, and at the same time, I’m not looking for my wrinkles to be reduced by the product; I want more and different effects. Also, I don’t have as visible wrinkles as the ad picture shows. 🫶🏼 I really like it, I want to be clear about that. Sure, it takes a while to work it into the skin, but it melts in nicely, the scent is also fresh and not too strong in my opinion. The cream isn’t better than any other, so I can’t give it five stars. I have many creams with SPF at a much lower price that suit my skin even better 🫶🏼 It gives a very moisturizing feeling and sits incredibly well under makeup, which I appreciate 💕, but the price is too high for me. Now, keep in mind I haven’t used it longer than about two weeks; maybe in a week I’ll see more of the promised effect. 🥳 Will I buy it again? No 🙂↔️ Would I buy it again if it cost 499?
