1 monthVerifierad testareNice Volume
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test two products from Watercloud, and here are my thoughts on Rooth lift. I have pretty flat, thin, and dull hair that doesn’t deliver any volume on its own. I always need some type of volume product and a proper round with the blow dryer when my hair is freshly washed, so I was super excited about this one. I like the classic Watercloud scent, but it can be too heavy for those who are sensitive to fragrances. I’m used to using this type of volume product and really like that it focuses on lifting the roots. I section my hair and spray where I want volume, then massage it in. After that, it’s just blow-drying, starting from the top and bottom - then I use a round brush. I definitely think this spray mousse does the job. I get nice volume and even a feeling of thicker hair without too much product feel. One small downside for me is that it doesn’t hold the volume until the next day. Then my hair is flat again, unfortunately. Doesn’t quite reach five stars, but a four is definitely worth it 🙏 #watercloud30 likes3963 viewsMalinadenfina

1 monthVerifierad testareDid not work at all
I have often considered trying products from #Waterclouds, so I was happy when I saw that I would get to test as a #lykoinflutester. The layout of the packaging is nice and sleek, I get a feeling of quality. Smells floral and very 🌸 I love the scent. It smells floral and very. I wish it could last a little longer. Then it goes downhill 🌾 I distributed the product in sections of my hair. The mousse was watery and resembles no other mousse I have used. What came out of the nozzle resembled more saliva (see video) and it felt cold against my scalp. I massaged it in anyway and blow-dried. I also tested using a hot air brush, and then I tested with braids right after application without using any heat tools. Result 🤨 No matter what I did, there was no difference when it came to volume. The only thing that happened was that my scalp had a coating and my hair got greasy a day faster (I normally wash my hair about every three days). To be fair ☝️If my hair type! My hair is thin/fine, I have many hair strands, yet the hair looks thin, the hair strands are absolutely pin straight, in a way that resembles fiberglass. Hairdressers usually don’t find it fun. It’s hard to style, time-consuming to cut. I have never experienced any lasting volume in my hair. Not even when I teased my hair in the early 2000s (gave up and haven’t tried since). I usually just brush through my hair after a shower, otherwise I don’t need to brush. So, to be fair, this product never had a good chance.4 likes1521 viewsIda

1 monthVerifierad testareNot quite the right product for me
I was so lucky to test 2 products from the Waterclouds brand this time. A bit about my hair: curly, long, thin, and color-treated/dry. Not the typical mousse for hair that I'm used to, as this one is more thin and in spray form. I therefore had trouble getting the product to work like I'm used to a regular mousse working. Unfortunately, I ended up creating more tangles than curls, really. But the product at least gives some moisture to the hair, which made the curls look okay, as long as I ignored all the tangles I had managed to create. I wasn't particularly impressed with the hold of the mousse either, and felt almost like all "lift" and hold was gone from my hair after about 2 hours. I can imagine that this product also suits someone with straight/flat hair better. It could also be the length of my hair that is the problem, and that the product is best suited for short hair. The scent was a big plus for me! it smelled fresh and nice, and a bit like perfume. If you are a person who doesn't like your products to smell too much, this one is probably not for you. I'm unsure if I applied the product incorrectly since I ended up with so many tangles. I therefore choose to give the product 3 stars since I think I was part of the problem as to why the product didn't work as it should. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WATERCLOUDS172 viewsNatalie Bergene
1 monthVerifierad testareVolume!
I have been so lucky to test the product from #WATERCLOUDS again, it’s a brand I have tried before and really like! 🥰 A bit about my hair: I have very thick and lots of hair, my hair will never hold curls, waves, etc., my hair is naturally very straight! 🥰 After I cut my hair short to donate it, I am in the process of learning how to style my new hair! So getting the chance to test these hair styling products couldn’t have come at a better time! ❤️ I have become very fond of using mousse in my hair to add a bit of life and volume to my "short" hair! What did I like? 👋🏼 I love that I can just spray it directly into my hair without having to put it on my hand first, which often leads to mess, now I can just lift my hair and spray right in 😍 👋🏼 I think the spray gives good volume despite my thick hair! 👋🏼 I love that it’s so easy to use 😍 What didn’t I like so much? 👎🏻 I think it has a bit of a strong smell, I really struggle with migraines and react strongly to smells. But luckily, the smell fades as it dries! 😊 👎🏻 I wish it lasted a bit longer than it does, I feel like it doesn’t last a whole day. But that could also be due to my heavy hair 😊 But my husband, who has quite thin hair, is a big fan and keeps stealing it from me! 😂 All in all, I’m satisfied and use it quite often 😍 #lykoinflutester #waterclouds+1

1 monthVerifierad testareNothing for me
Here we have a mousse that should be used on towel-dried hair, which is supposed to provide moisture & volume to the roots. The packaging is nice and a good size. The spray nozzle is quite thin, which is very positive in this case, as you don't want too much product in the actual hair here, but rather at the roots, so it's easy to target 👌🏻 The consistency is like a light spray with a liquid that then expands and becomes a bit mousse-like. But definitely not a classic mousse. The longevity isn't particularly good, I notice a difference on the first day, then there's super nice volume! But then it seems to disappear, leaving a bit of a dull feeling in the hair. And this is supposed to be used on towel-dried hair - so I have a bit of a problem there, as it's actually a few days after washing that I need a lift and a bit of new volume - and then I can't use this, because I don't want to wet my hair unnecessarily. So unfortunately, I don't see where this is supposed to benefit me in my routine, so it didn't get a full score from me! ✅ quick volume ✅ smooth spray! ✅ good price ❌ strong scent ❌ short longevity when used I think this is a bit better for shorter hairstyles, or for someone who often wets their hair to style it - then this will be great! This will become a new favorite for my mom, for example 😍 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WATERCLOUDS1 likes373 viewsEmelie
Customer service at Lyko1 monthHallå Madeleine 🤗 Thank you so much for a detailed and lovely review of this product, we really appreciate it 🥰 It's such a shame that it didn't quite become a new favorite for you, but it would be fun if your mom might like it 🙏🥩

1 monthVerifierad testareStable Volume
I actually have curly/wavy hair. But when I use products like this, I blow-dry my hair straight/with volume curls. You need to blow-dry the hair in the opposite direction to get volume, and that doesn't really work with my natural hair. But sometimes I feel like styling my hair, and then such products are lovely. It's not quite a mousse. But it's nothing that bothers at all. It's easy to apply in the hair. In the first picture, I blow-dried my hair in the opposite direction. At first, I was disappointed as I didn't experience any volume at all. But when I did a light teasing, I really like it! It has perfect hold. The hair becomes stiff without looking greasy. And the strands kind of+2

1 monthVerifierad testareDoesn't quite cut it
I usually have pretty good volume in my hair, so I was excited to see what this mousse could do for me and my hair. I think it has given my hair more volume, but the mousse itself is a bit too sticky for my taste, the hair becomes stiff to work with. It doesn't feel quite healthy.. The mousse is also not quite typical mousse, but more liquid with a bit of foam in it. The design is nice and the scent is okay. However, I do think the hair got some structure! I have tried to follow the instructions (except for blow-drying after the mousse is applied because I'm trying to limit the use of heat tools), but I still don't think it quite meets my preferences. #LYKOINFLUTESTER & #WATERCLOUDS #LYKOREVIEW1 likes778 viewsRenate
1 monthVerifierad testareBest in Short Hairstyles
My hair: long, thin, fine, Nordic, flat, and SMOOTH. A perfect starting point! I generally prefer a mousse for the whole hair, as I feel my hair needs volume and hold in the lengths too. The design of Waterclouds is delicate and pretty. But as I see others point out - easy to mix up when you have several identical bottles in the cabinet 🙈 (Cannot recommend this for dry hair, though). I like their vision with lots of moisture! I've tested the spray a few rounds now. I prefer it in sections on towel-dried hair. I've tested with a blow dryer, and without. Without blow-drying, I would say I notice little volume, but maybe a bit of hold. With blow-drying, I would say it gives volume at the roots. This volume isn't very sustainable until the next hair wash, so I don't think it was that good in my hair. I think this is probably better for shorter hair, as my long lengths weigh it down a bit 👩🦳 All in all, it gives too little hold and volume for me. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds569 viewsSynne
1 monthVerifierad testareHeavier than it lifts
I got to test this rootlift mousse for Lyko!💖 This should be used on towel-dried hair, so I jumped in the shower! After it was washed and dried a bit, I sectioned my hair and sprayed at the roots all over my head to distribute it with my fingers. Then the blow dryer did the rest of the job💆♀️ Let's start with the positives💕 ✅ Pretty design, big bottle that lasts long! ✅ Nozzle that is narrow enough to give precision when getting right up to the roots ✅ Does what it’s supposed to, gives volume! Sooooo this wasn’t really for me, so: ❌ Weighs the hair down ❌ Makes hair hard to work with🤪 Hair becomes hard to move, frizzy, and almost sticky ❌ Can’t be used on dry hair. I usually struggle the most with volume a couple of days after my last hair wash, but if you have thin hair, it might be okay to have volume after the shower ❌ I feel it’s misleading to call this a mousse, it expands a little when you spray it on, but is definitely not like a classic mousse #lykoinflutester #waterclouds1 likes856 viewsThereseR
1 monthVerifierad testareGood first day
I got to test this rootlifter that’s supposed to give volume from the roots, simply! It’s a spray but transforms into mousse in damp hair. The packaging is classic for the Waterclouds brand and, besides being easy to mix with my Waterclouds Light texture spray (and probably more of their products), it looks nice 🤗 The spray nozzle is quite thin, which I appreciate when it comes to products where you need a bit of precision. Rootlifters should be sprayed into the hair, down to the roots and not applied to the scalp. It shouldn’t be overdosed either, so I like the spray nozzle. The scent is mild and pleasant. I sprayed it into freshly washed and towel-dried hair and then distributed it further in the hair with my fingers. After that, I blow-dried the hair straight and blew it against its natural direction for extra volume. I can definitely see that my hair has more volume than normal. Awesome! The hair felt a bit rough near the head but not like with dry shampoo, just more stable. Good stuff! In the video and photo, I only sprayed on top of my head, not on the sides. Unfortunately, none of that feeling is left the next day, and considering THAT, it’s at least positive that it doesn’t feel like the hair has become dirty from the product; it simply doesn’t feel like it’s still there. So, it was nice for as long/short as it lasted. I only have a bit of hair oil in, so I haven’t weighed down my hair with products either. It simply hasn’t stuck around 🤷♀️ #lykoinflutester #waterclouds+1
