Your skin looks better!
I have tested this tinting SPF from #beautyofjoseon and it is truly a hybrid between skincare and makeup! Before I dive into what I think, I want to share a bit about my skin: 🌸 dry to normal 🌸 freckles 🌸 a few wrinkles 🌸 the occasional pimple 🌸 red areas around the nose and sometimes cheeks/forehead I can start by saying that I haven't used this solely as SPF, but I always apply a pure SPF 50 underneath, because otherwise I have to use a lot of product to get enough protection. I love that it lets my freckles show without making them gray (those of you with freckles know how hard it can be to find a base that doesn't make freckles look dull). That's a really big plus for me. It is incredibly runny, so be careful when applying it, otherwise it can end up cream everywhere, haha. I love thin foundations that don't feel like a warm blanket in the summer, which this one doesn't do. However, it takes a long time to work it into the skin, it feels like it easily lays down as a thin, thin film first, which makes the result streaky. I prefer to use my hands first and massage it into the skin, then I go over with a sponge for the best result. Brush does not give a good result for me at all. I chose to test the color MP200, which is supposed to have a relatively cool undertone, at first I didn't think it had a cool undertone at all, but now I've changed my mind, it is relatively cool and still dark so it fits me perfectly in the summer and when I self-tan! It is buildable but take a little at a time if you want more coverage, because as I said, it needs to be worked in for a long time, I think. I've thrown this on almost every day since I got it and it doesn't irritate my skin, just a reminder to have another SPF underneath that is pure, I think it's important if you really want to protect yourself from the sun. I absolutely think it gives nice coverage without me looking made up, it also gives a nice glow, smells like nothing special and feels light on the skin! Completely wrong color
Ordered the color MY210, hoping it would be yellow/warm! The package arrived yesterday and the product was pink/red😖 did not match at all!! So disappointed. I found it very difficult to interpret the "color description". There was no shade that had anything with "W" which should be the one with yellow/warm undertone🧐 So I used the process of elimination, since P=cool and N=neutral, I assumed that Y would be the one with yellow undertone but nope🫠 Grateful if someone knows and can suggest what shade to choose as the "help" unfortunately was quite misleading😳😰 Otherwise, the product seems lovely in consistency 🌟1 product in post Completely wrong color51279 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. ☀️🤍 An SPF that makes “no makeup makeup” so easy!
I’ve really fallen for Beauty of Joseon Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen SPF 30 PA+++! This is the kind of product I love when I want sun protection, a bit of color, and a nice natural base all in one step. 🥹✨ The first thing I like is the incredibly light texture. It’s really thin and silky and glides over the skin without feeling like a heavy layer of sunscreen. I think it melts in very nicely and leaves the skin with a fresh, naturally radiant finish. 🤍 However, this is not the product I use when I want full coverage. The coverage is sheer and natural but can be built up a bit. For me, it’s more the feeling of “my skin, just a bit nicer” that makes it so good. Lyko also describes it as a buildable formula with sheer coverage and oil-controlling properties. I especially like how it works when I just want to even out my skin tone a little, apply concealer where needed, and then go in with blush and bronzer. It makes such a simple and fresh base. 😭✨ And I really think the finish is somewhere between glowing and matte. It doesn’t look shiny in an oily way, but the skin doesn’t look flat either. Just the balance I want for everyday. One small thing I think is important is to shake the bottle well before use since it’s a thin fluid. Lyko also recommends applying a generous amount as the last step in your skincare routine. 🤍 I do have to say that SPF 30 is the biggest downside for me. I would have really loved it even more if it were SPF 50. There are actually Lyko users who point this out as a minus. And since it’s a tinted SPF, I wouldn’t try to use too little just to get less color. The amount of sun protection is more important than getting the perfect makeup finish. If I want more coverage, I’d rather apply concealer on top. I also like that it comes in several shades, so it’s possible to find a tone that fits better than with a completely universal skin tint. 🥹🤍 The only other small downside is that I’ve seen mixed experiences regarding how it feels on oilier skin – some think it gets a bit oily. Lyko currently rates it around 3.3/5 based on 89 reviews, so it seems to be a bit more hair type/skin type dependent than some other Beauty of Joseon products. But for me, this is above all a super nice everyday SPF for a natural, light, and glowy base. Good for other skin types
I think it’s super good for many. But for me with rosacea and dryness, it sticks and creates more dry patches after a while and is hard to layer. Really watery texture, very runny. Be careful when taking the product, it spreads very quickly everywhere. At first, it looks like it leaves the skin shiny, but once the product is absorbed, it leaves a beautiful glow. Glow
I don't think it contributes much as a makeup product beyond giving a fantastic glow. No coverage but a good texture and feels lovely to use. Pleasant SPF
