✨👁Sky high, baby👁✨
So we're doing another #LykoReview, this time a mascara I've seen so much of that it was time! 👀 My lashes are pretty long, but light so they don't show up unmade. 😅 But they are also terribly straight, so I really need the lift 👫 The tube is pretty, modern, and overall Maybelline New York 😉 The brush is a rubber variant with small spikes that easily separate the lashes to avoid clumpiness 🙌🏻 I chose the mascara in black, it covers well and I was surprised by its creation of both volume and length-definition 🤩 Another plus is that it doesn't transfer, neither on the eyelid nor below 👼 Trust me, it's a HUGE achievement for my hooded eyes 😳 👁Summary👁 ➕ The brush ➕ Doesn't transfer ➕/➖ The price I can see myself buying another when this one is finished, it gives me exactly what I need 🥤1 product in post ✨👁Sky high, baby👁✨12400 views - Most helpful negativeThe post was made 11 monthsRating: 2 out of 5verified customer
The color was a disappointment
Burgundy: This gets really dark when it dries, and you can barely tell that the color is supposed to be reddish. The consistency is also not as good as the regular sky high mascara in my opinion. I’ve had the chance to test the Sky high mascara from #lykoinflutester as a #maybelline! First and foremost, I have to praise the beautiful and distinctive packaging that has made the mascara almost iconic💅 I’ve tested Sky high before. Back then in a black shade and waterproof, which was definitely good, but something I dreaded washing off because it sticks like a MOUNTAIN🏔️ (both good and bad). This time I tested the Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara in the color Burgundy, and let me say it was better than I remember. Easy to apply with an incredible brush that reaches all lashes, doesn’t crumble throughout the day, and is very easy to wash off with just water!🚿 The only thing that lowers the rating a bit is that my expectations were for a clearer and sharper color than it had once dried. When dry, it wasn’t easy to see the burgundy shade clearly. Something the mascara should be praised for is its long-lasting wear throughout the day, the easy application, and how there were no issues when it came time to wash it off! As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test the Sky High Mascara in the beautiful brown shade True Brown, and I just have to say... this mascara never disappoints! 😍🤎 I've actually been using Sky High since it came out in 2020, and it's still my number 1 mascara! ❤️ I've tried many others over the years, but always end up going back to this one. Usually, I only use waterproof mascara because I have very sensitive eyes🥹, so I was a bit curious about this one. But it really impressed me! 🤎 The color is so nice and natural, and it fits perfectly whether you're going to work, out to eat, or just want a softer look. What I love the most is that it gives long lashes with lots of lift, while keeping them looking nice all day long. 🫶🏼 A little tip from me if you want to avoid clumps: Use a clean brow brush and gently comb through your lashes both before and after applying the mascara. Very disappointing
The mascara arrived extremely dry, as if it was already used or almost empty. I even tested it on the back of my hand, and it left virtually no product at all. The navy color is not visible, and even the brush appears to have almost no product on it. I had high expectations because I was really looking forward to trying a navy mascara instead of my usual black, so this was especially disappointing. Brown almost black
It's so boring that many brown mascaras look almost black. I really want a brown look. I have very short lashes and get zero effect from the mascara. It only colors the lashes but doesn't build any length or volume. Feels like it just slides around. Washes off easily. The difference in how a brown mascara is perceived often depends on how the pigments are composed – many brown shades are relatively deep and can therefore look almost black, especially on dark or short lashes where the contrast is small 💗 For short lashes, it can be a bit tricky to get both length and volume with a lighter formula. A little tip that might help is to build up the mascara in several thin layers and focus on working the product in from the root upwards in a light zigzag motion 🤗 Fingers crossed that it works better. Good, quite okay
Good product, like the color. I don't really care much about volume and length – otherwise, I would probably have chosen another product. But it gives a very nice, modest look! Buy again and again. One downside is that it dries out quickly and needs to be replaced long before it's half empty. A bit annoying. Always a hit
I don't really have much to say! It beats many expensive brands and the eyelashes get crazy volume! Lovely brown ♡
I have brown eyes, so a brown mascara like this fits my eyes perfectly. It becomes softer in color compared to black, and I am satisfied. I think the black gives more volume than all the other colors in the same mascara, but I feel mascaras in general get harder to apply after a month opened when they are not completely fresh. I will probably continue to use this color going forward ♡ #lykoreview690 views
