Requires Patience
Was sooooo excited to try this icy gorgeous blush in such a pretty winter pink color! It's often a plus when a blush is lightly pigmented so you can build it up yourself, but that was quite a lot of building 🥸 This one is very lightly pigmented and you have to work on it for a long time. Still, I feel like it gave very little color. Not very impressed, which is a bummer since I LOVE both the bronzer and highlighter in the same series. The new packaging from Make Up Store is really luxurious! Seems to be really good quality and I love the design. Easy to open even with nails, has a mirror and a nice pattern in the product itself. Nice packaging doesn't make up for the product, though. Nice color
This is not a super pigmented blush, if you're looking for that. But, a very nice blush if you just want a little life in your face💓 I find the blush to be very user-friendly, because it doesn't come with so much pigment at once and it can be built up. Way too little pigment
I was unfortunately disappointed here. The color looks absolutely gorgeous in the packaging, and I was excited to get it on my cheeks, but it simply does not transfer to the skin. This is the least pigmented of the face products in this series. I find that I have to work really hard with the brush to pick up the product, and even then it’s barely visible on the skin. It doesn’t help to build it up either, as it seems like the "base" in the product is too hard. It’s really a shame, because the shade looks like it could give a fresh pop of color, but when the functionality is lacking, it doesn’t help much. I got this #makeupstore Iconic Luster Blush 40 Vintage Rose to test as part of #lykoinflutester product testing. The shade of the product is really beautiful “old rose,” and the shade works when my skin is at its lightest, and when I have used self-tanner, for example. The product is not completely matte, so it creates a very natural, velvety finish. The product applies well with a brush. The product is not too pigmented, so application is effortless, but it is also easy to build up. The product feels more pigmented than the bronzer from the same line. The product is really a very good blush that can easily be used in everyday makeup, but also to create more festive makeup by layering. I was recently so lucky to get to test a bunch of products from makeupstore in collaboration with Lyko! For the blush, I chose the color velvet plum, and it is an incredibly beautiful and pigmented blush that is easy to apply and blend due to its soft, almost creamy texture. Iconic Luster Blush 50 Velvet Plum
Absolutely lovely product, the pigment can be layered beautifully on the skin according to personal taste, and the result is even. The product gives a delightful flush to the cheeks and has received praise in use. The packaging is convenient, and there is plenty of product. I also liked the mirror feature, you can easily add color to your cheeks in the car.🤩 The color selection was also broad and diverse, there is definitely a shade for everyone. True Pink Indeed!
Perhaps the best cosmetics news of the year was Make Up Store's comeback! I've loved Make Up Store products since my teenage years, and I can still trust them. Natural touch☃️💗
I love that this is a hybrid of powder and cream. I can never really decide what I prefer between the two. I've also caught myself applying a layer of cream and then a layer of powder - so this feels just right! Usually, I choose a darker tone blush, but this time I decided to go for a lighter, cooler tone - frosted pink💗 I thought. It wasn't quite as cool light pink as I hoped and thought. But nice color and absolutely "wearable"😋💗 Like the whole series, the packaging is NOW in a classic simple design with soft edges. Makeupstore has really upgraded the design and quality: Makeupstore feels more luxurious now💅🏼 I found this a bit difficult to build up, but I wonder if a lot has to do with how light and soft their brush was (own review on that). But an incredibly nice color! But I feel it comes out more if I skip bronzer and stick to the pale winter skin☃️ But then you don't have to worry about putting on TOO much blush. But I hoped it would give a bit of the same vibe as the nyx buttermelt highlighter in the color u butta werk, just not quite as much highlight effect. I should say I haven't tried it myself but have a friend who uses it. Possibly like Ysl's make me blush 42 - a strong cool pigmented pink blush. But I will see this is less pigmented and warmer in tone than those. But I should say I've been using this blush since! perfect for everyday. But when I want to dress up more, I use one of my other blushes that are a bit more pigmented. I now use the blush together with my Caia multi-use brush F03. It is a bit more compact than their domed powder brush #06 (own review on that), so I feel it was easier to build up a bit like that. But nice to finish with the softest brush to achieve that nice "melted into the skin" effect. Unfortunately, no picture or video of the difference🫠 Therefore, it doesn't come across well in the picture how much more pigmented it can get. Incredibly hard to see it at all, but I promise it was more obvious in reality. But I'm considering buying it in one of the darker shades, because WOW the product is incredibly creamy and blends so incredibly well🙌🏼 it also feels incredibly light on the skin! I've also tried bronzer, highlighter, tapered highlighter brush #04, and as mentioned in this, their domed powder brush #06. In short: + nice color☃️💗 + beautiful packaging😌 + blends incredibly well with the skin🤩 + feels light on the skin☁️ +/- difficult (but achievable) to build up the light color, maybe easier with darker shades?😅 +/- would it be a bit more pigmented? in just that lightest color? #lykoinflutester #makeupstore

Blush - vintage rose
I have had the honor of testing the #makeupstore new releases for a few weeks. I was really sooooo excited to try these new products, as I used a lot from them during my teenage years. To start with, I really liked the packaging, sooooo sleek and simple. Just my taste! However, I think the product was poorly pigmented. You can of course build up several layers, and then the product looked really nice. I like that it has a bit of shimmer (tried to capture that in the picture). Unfortunately, I am always a bit stressed when I do my makeup in the morning, so I get a bit picky when it takes time.. The prettiest blush shade I own 💗 This is so beautiful and I love the glow it gives to the face! Gives a natural look!
♥️ 40 "Vintage Rose" blush has a beautiful rosy/red tone.
