Amazing Product!
I have tried so many foundations and tinted moisturizers, but this skin tint truly exceeded my expectations! 🌟 A bit about my skin: I have super acne-prone skin, and now that I’m on acne medication, it’s also very dry and can be a bit oily (combination skin). What I look for in a foundation or skin tint is a product that doesn’t cause breakouts, that covers my acne marks, and that lasts all day. This product checks all the boxes! An absolute new favorite!! It melts into the skin in a way that makes it look naturally fresh, without feeling heavy or cakey. Perfect for anyone wanting a more even skin tone without it looking made up. Moisture that lasts The big plus for me is the moisturizing effect. With hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, my skin feels soft and hydrated all day, without getting oily. The only thing I’ve noticed is that I tend to get dry patches, which also happens with this skin tint, but that’s also due to my very dry skin. Perfect for sensitive skin Since the product is fragrance-free and gentle, my sensitive skin hasn’t reacted at all – no breakouts, redness, or irritation. A big plus for anyone who usually has trouble finding a foundation that works without clogging pores, I haven’t noticed any new breakouts since I started using it! Longevity and application It really delivers on its promises! After a full day, my skin still looked hydrated and fresh, without the makeup settling into fine lines or disappearing. I also like that the coverage is buildable – perfect for days when I want a light base and also when I need a bit more coverage. Plus, the packaging is so pretty and contains a lot of product. Conclusion If you’re looking for a makeup base that combines skincare and a natural glow, this is a real home run! 💖 I’ve posted pictures of my skin without product, with the product, under makeup, and in the evening! Not a product for dry skin type.
I have the honor as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER to test #MILKMAKEUP ’s hydro grip gel tint foundation. 👱🏼♀️me as a tester: I have a combination skin type. Often troubled by my dry skin. Large pores on my face, mostly over the cheeks. 🌟 the product: A buildable and lightweight product that easily evens out skin tone and lasts all day without clogging pores or settling into creases and fine lines. It’s supposed to last up to 12H. 📝 my opinion: This is probably the worst foundation I have ever used for my dry skin type. It settles into all pores and all creases. The feel is a typical “theater makeup foundation,” i.e., extremely thick and hard to work out with a brush. It disappears from the skin immediately if you, for example, blow your nose or touch your face. It also creates large dry patches where I am driest, i.e., around the nose, which is then very hard to even out once it’s on the skin and in those dry areas. I actually have nothing good to say about this product at all. It’s expensive too.Translated from swedish

Perfect for my skin
I have some challenges with my skin that make it difficult to find products that work the way I want. It is sensitive, has dry patches, unevenness in both texture and color, and it is also starting to mature as the years go by. Therefore, I was very excited to try this product. Often products feel nice in the store, but that can change when I try it on my face. I prepped my skin as I always do, a lot of moisture is my priority. My first impression of the product was that it felt a bit thick. But it is super easy to spread out and melts into the skin. The skin quickly gets an even color. I have actually never experienced an easier application. I do not feel that it settles into the lines or becomes uneven around the nose or eye area. I let it set a bit while I found what I usually use in my daily makeup. Sometimes I can experience that applying bronzer in powder form can ruin the tint, but that was absolutely not the case here. Both bronzer and blush applied very nicely. Throughout the day, it holds up well, even after a hectic day. Conclusion: A tint that feels incredibly light on the skin. Easy to apply, absorbs quickly into the skin, and leaves it neither sticky nor cakey. Works well with the other products I use. My sensitive skin has not reacted negatively to it, and my skin does not feel dry throughout the day. A big plus for me is that it works perfectly alone, so it can be used on days when I don't feel like having anything more than just an even color on my face. #konkurranseinflutesterTranslated from norwegian

Very nice texture
Super happy with this product since I'm not that into foundation and prefer lighter skin products. As the name promises, I think this skin tint sits extremely well and gives an even, nice texture. Personally, I really like a slightly dewy and hydrated finish, so I would have liked to see even more glow. But for combination and oily skin types, I think this is perfect. The "grippy" texture also makes it a bit difficult to blend out, but that's something you almost have to expect. I would also have liked a shade darker, as number 5 was a bit too light for me. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from norwegian

Fantastic potential, but poor packaging!
I was so lucky to receive the new Hydro Grip Gel Tint from Milk Makeup as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I am 34 years old, have normal to dry skin. A bit sensitive at times if products contain a lot of perfume. I have a few lines around my eyes, and a small one by my mouth. And I get some pimples/bumps now and then ☺️ If there’s something I love, it’s a natural base for everyday use. Preferably in the form of a skin tint. That’s why I was so happy when I got to test this new launch from Milk Makeup 💙 The first thing I notice is clearly the packaging, which drags down the whole first impression. As soon as I pull off the seal, a lot of product spills out - without me being able to stop it. It seems like there’s pressure in the tube that causes this. I finally have to bang it upside down on the table to release the pressure. Sooooo the packaging could definitely have been better 🤯 A pump for example. But then comes the fun part - application! 😍 I’ve tested this both with and without primer underneath (Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Primer), and I’ve actually found that I like how this applies best - with the primer 👌🏼 Without primer (only with my own skincare) I felt like it slid around a bit on my skin without really being able to set. I prefer to take the skin tint on my hand and work it into a foundation brush. Then press the product into the skin. I never drag the brush over the skin - I hate when skincare/primer/foundation pills! Pressing the product in to avoid this works best in my eyes ☺️ I chose shade 2, which is actually perfect for me. I could probably have had number 1 as well since I’m so naturally pale. But since I often use a bit of self-tanner, this is probably the one that will suit me best in the long run. The consistency is runny, so it looks very thin and light. But I actually find it feels quite thick and sticky when you work with it. Therefore, it’s probably best to apply this with a brush, not with fingers or a sponge. So you warm up the product on your hand and in the brush before application, then it feels a bit lighter and the product is evenly distributed on the brush 🥰 The result this gives my skin is truly “glass skin”! It looks like I’ve drunk 4 liters of water and have a glow from within 💦 It’s probably going to be a bit too intense of a glow for me, as the glow doesn’t “dry” down. So I have to mattify it with a bit of powder to not look like a doll. But that it’s moisturizing is for sure! Perfect for us with dry skin 😍 I also like that you can build up the coverage. Since the first layer doesn’t cover much other than unevenness in the skin. The second layer covers redness from pimples/bumps a bit better. Something that is a must for me, as I struggle with skin that almost gets red spots just from touching it. It also doesn’t settle into fine lines or on dry areas of the face (when I use primer underneath), I feel it creases when I’ve used it without the primer. Which might be worth mentioning! But a good skincare routine in general is definitely recommended, especially exfoliating dead skin - it always gives the best results 👏🏻 All in all, absolutely a skin tint I will be using a lot going forward. But always with the Hydro Grip Primer underneath (just remember to use this primer correctly - see my review of the primer to see how I get it to work optimally) 💙🩵 #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from norwegian

Super great multi-use product!
As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of trying this product from #milkmakeup ✨ I am super satisfied with this product, even though I had 0 expectations. I am a real lightweight when it comes to makeup - the less, the better - but I have a fondness for tinted products/cc creams/light coverage foundations, which probably made me automatically like this gel tint 🙈 It has a light texture, applies extremely nicely on the skin (even though I apply it with my fingers) and covers surprisingly well. I liked that it can also act as a primer - since I have acne-prone skin, there were certain areas I needed to cover a bit extra, so I just went in with my regular cc cream over for more coverage, and it stayed like a charm all day. I tried to match my shade with the shade I have in my cc cream from Lumene, where I have the color Light. After some research, I concluded that number 3 - fair, cool should fit well, and it really did! Top rating from me! 🙌🏼☀️Translated from swedish

Great potential!
I tested this new product from Milk, but unfortunately chose a shade that is too light (no. 2) for my skin and therefore feel that I can't really give it a fair review. But I will do my best! The first thing I reacted to was the packaging. A lot of product spilled out when I opened the cap, and it got everywhere. Unfortunately, this happens every time I open it, and it feels like there is pressure in the packaging. It's a shame because it both wastes product and is very annoying with all the mess. After that, I discovered that the color was way too light for me, but I tried to apply it anyway. It actually blended in surprisingly well and evened out my skin tone. If I had a better shade, it probably wouldn't have looked like I was wearing makeup at all, which I really like. I only wear very little makeup, so this would be perfect for everyday use to feel a bit fresher. The formula is actually somewhat sticky and a bit slow to apply. I used my fingers since the formula is otherwise too runny. Once it was "worked in" to the skin, it laid very evenly and nicely. It really delivers on its promise of not settling into creases or lines and not clogging pores. You can't see it in the picture, but I also think I got a nice glow even though I became ghostly pale😂 I really think it's super annoying that the shade turned out so wrong because it feels like it could have been a top product💔 For reference, I have combination skin that can get oily in the t-zone. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from swedish

For everyday and special occasions
I recently tried Hydro Grip Gel Tint, and I must say that I am very impressed. The product has a light and airy consistency that makes it easy to apply. It glides smoothly over the skin and gives a natural glow while evening out the skin tone so that it is somewhat matte, without feeling heavy or cakey. One of the best things about this tint is that it has good coverage while allowing the skin to breathe and that it can be built up to cover more. I have used it as a base, and the result has always been great. It lasts a long time throughout the day, and I have not experienced it fading or becoming patchy. In addition to this, I think my skin looks fresh after using it. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a natural and fresh look. It is perfect for both everyday use and special occasions! I am very satisfied. The product has a light and airy consistency that makes it easy to apply. It glides smoothly over the skin and gives a natural glow while evening out the skin tone without feeling heavy or cakey. The downside might be the price. But I personally think the price is absolutely worth it, and I find the product to be economical in use. So it will last a while here at home! I have sensitive skin with some acne. And this product has not triggered my skin. It lasts a long time throughout the day. #lykoinflutester #milkmakeupTranslated from norwegian

Natural glow 🤌🏼
I had the opportunity to test the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Gel Tint 💗 It is supposed to be a natural and moisturizing gel tint that can be built up if desired. I love this type of product because it gives a very natural result and is suitable for all occasions. I prefer to apply it with my fingers and rub it in like a face cream. I found that it could get a bit streaky when applied with a brush. I have combination skin, but it is primarily quite oily. This gel tint gives a lot of glow and radiance without looking greasy, which is appreciated. It is fragrance-free and also suitable for sensitive skin, which is a big plus! 😍 The only negative that can be mentioned is that there is some kind of pressure in the packaging that makes it easy for more product to come out than needed. But otherwise, there are only positive things to mention, and I will definitely buy it again ❤️ #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from swedish

Simple and easy, super good!
A bit about my skin: I have sensitive skin, especially around the eyes. I have some redness, some acne scars, and a few wrinkles on my forehead/under my eyes. My skin tends to flake, probably due to the retinol I use daily. I went for Tint No. 3, which is supposed to be light with a cool undertone. Which I felt matched my skin the best, and I matched myself quite well, I would say. The tube has a very nice design with a transparent opening on the side, making it easy to see how much product is left. It’s easy to get the product out, and the cap stays on solidly, surviving several flights and my work bag without spilling, 10/10 for design! I used my fingertips to apply this, didn’t test anything with a brush or sponge as I just think tools are extra hassle. Took a small dab of the gel tint and distributed it zone-wise across my face, with a thin layer it gave me a very natural and sheer result. This was also easy to build up if needed, e.g. over pigment spots, and even at layer 2 it didn’t feel heavy. I tested it on my own hand, on top of primer from the same series, and on top of my regular moisturizer. I experienced the best results when I used it on top of my usual moisturizer and nothing more. I had no reactions on my skin when I applied this, magical! And not only that, I couldn’t feel on my skin that there was anything extra on it overall. This was truly "my skin but better" in every way. This gives a gentle hint of color and redness control, which is desirable. I tested this for parties, everyday use, and even on flights! Time and time again, this lasted throughout the day without smudging or separating, my skin looked just as nice in the morning when I had this on as in the evening when I took it off. It was also no problem to have blush and powder over the Tint, it didn’t budge after the first application. This also didn’t settle into my wrinkles in such a way that it was obvious I had something on my skin, it just looked natural and nice. One thing to be aware of is that if I hadn’t been very careful with scrubbing my skin before use, this brought my flaky skin to light during the day. With some extra prep, this wasn’t a problem, but it does hold me back a bit from potentially using this daily, for my part. This will of course apply to all makeup products with color in them, so I won’t hold this against it. This doesn’t dry to a matte finish, this keeps a pretty natural glow on the skin. For me, it became occasionally too glowy as I have very shiny skin to begin with, but with a thin layer of powder, this was perfect for me! All in all, super satisfied with this, it did exactly what it promised and more! LYKOINFLUTESTER MILKMAKEUPTranslated from norwegian

Recommending!
I had the honor of testing this new product from #Milkmakeup as a #lykoinflutester. My skin is quite "normal", a bit dry in some areas but nothing special. I almost always use lighter products as a base since I prefer that over heavy foundations. This product definitely got a thumbs up. It had decent coverage and laid very nicely on the skin. It didn't feel heavy at all but melted in beautifully. A wonderful everyday product when you want to feel a little extra pretty. The only negative I experienced was that there was some kind of overpressure in the bottle itself which resulted in a lot leaking out, but that can happen with any product, and luckily I managed to save the spilled product. The price is a bit steep, but I definitely think it's worth it since it's a long-lasting product that holds up in quality. #lykoreviewTranslated from swedish

Awesome product, worse packaging
You never get as happy as when you get to try out completely new products?? This time it was three different products from Milk Makeup, but I think we should focus on 💙Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Gel Tint.💙 I have the shade 7 - medium, neutral which is a bit too dark for me right now, but I chose it because I think it will be perfect for summer ☀️ My first thought when I applied this product is that it has much more coverage than I am used to when it comes to tinted products, but still lets my texture, freckles, etc. through (which I appreciate). It also stays nice throughout the day and disappears in a nice way (so it doesn't crumble or get patchy) I'm not the one who likes foundation, but I like when makeup feels like skincare. I'm 28 years old and notice that the older I get, the more moisture my skin needs in my products for it to look good on my skin. Something that is also positive is that you need extremely little product, and if you want more coverage, it can be built up! And it doesn't have a strong scent. Something that is negative, however, is the bottle itself. It leaks out at the cap so that when you open it, it gets messy (I have a picture included). That's probably a problem that will resolve itself after a while when there isn't as much product left. But other than that, it's great, and I hope it stays just as nice when the heat comes ☀️ I also added an extra picture when I have the whole makeup done with both primer, this product, and also their mascara that I have reviewed #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from swedish
