Suitable for all skin types!
A nice facial cleanser that works for all skin types. The cleanser comes in a tube packaging that is easy to use. I think the product has a bit of a clinical scent, but nothing that bothers me. The cleanser itself is a bit on the firmer side. The consistency feels quite liquid and creamy when squeezed out. I think the best way to use the product is to dampen the face a little before application, as it makes it smoother to massage the product in and lift the oil; otherwise, it gets very sticky if you apply it to a dry face. Even though it is possible to apply the cleanser to a dry face, it is much better to apply it to a wet one. Before I read a bit about the product, I washed my whole face with the cleanser, including the area around the eyes, and that should be avoided as the skin around the eyes is thinner. Anyway, I thought the product removed waterproof mascara very well. Super good for dry skin!
I find that this wash works excellently for me as I have very dry skin. My skin feels immediately hydrated and clean after use. I appreciate that it doesn't have a strong scent. It makes it more friendly for people with sensitive skin. The only reason this product gets 4 instead of 5 stars is the price. I have been using the Ultra Facial Cleanser for a while now, and it has worked very well for my skin. It cleanses effectively, and my skin feels clean and calm afterwards. I have quite sensitive skin and can easily have reactions, but this cleanser has actually helped keep my skin more balanced. I've noticed less irritation, and my skin feels less tight compared to other cleansers I've tried. Gets the job done - but I need more moisture!
For the past two weeks, I have had the exciting task of testing and evaluating the #lykotestpilot ultra facial cleanser as #kiehls. 🧴 A little about me and my skin: 🖤 Oily, sensitive skin type with dryness that comes and goes. I easily get barrier damage, especially during the winter. 🖤 Despite the dryness that can become quite noticeable, my face needs a little wash in the morning to get rid of some excess oil. My first observations: 🧴 Perfect travel size! 🌟 Almost a little “liquid pearl” look to the product. Nice! Pros: 💐 Fragrance-free! No unnecessary fragrance ingredients that sting and irritate my skin. Yippie! 🫧 Lathers nicely and I felt very clean after cleansing. 🧽 Effectively removed the remnants of my cleansing balm without having to rub at all. Appreciated! Cons: ➖ Yes, I felt very clean after cleansing as previously mentioned, but after a minute when I patted my face dry, the tightness and dryness came like a letter in the mail. Additionally, I noticed that I became a little redder around the nostrils, cheekbones, and chin just after washing compared to my usual cleanser. Ouch. I suspect that I am simply a bit too dry now in the winter for this cleanser. ➖ Not quite as economical as I had hoped, I had to use between the amount shown in the picture and double that to feel that I could comfortably cleanse my whole face and still have product to work with properly. When it comes to cleansers, I appreciate economical and affordable products a little extra. The bottom line: A cleanser that definitely gets the job done and will be a product I return to a little later in the year when the air isn’t as dry and cold to see if the dryness after use occurs then as well. Anyway, a simple product that does exactly what it promises: cleanses. For 5 out of 5 points, I would have wished that the product was partly more economical, partly more moisturizing. Dry skin
I have tested this series of different products and would say that this one is the best. It has no special scent and is soft in consistency. I think this provides moisture in a different way than the other products. Therefore, I think this is more suited for dry skin. I recommend it to anyone looking for a fragrance-free soap. Kiehls ultra facial cleanser
My first impression of this cleanser is that I really like the packaging. It’s clean, sleek & I like the tube format. But it’s probably not the most aesthetically pleasing on the shelf. But I like it! The formula is MAGIC! Silky when you squeeze a little out into your hand. Like a velvety caress 🤤 and it’s super economical. So it takes just a tiny bit to cleanse the whole face. However, I have a full face with primer, eye makeup & setting spray, so I have to use another cleansing product to get everything off. The feeling after cleansing is a bit tight. It can also be completely individual since I am a dry type, especially in winter & sensitive during transitional periods. ❄️ so for me, this cleanser is not entirely optimal right now. But overall, I’m satisfied! Perfect to use on days when I wear less makeup or to combine with my oil cleanser. Great cleansing and gentle on the skin.
Ultra facial cleanser: I have been testing this cleanser for a little while as a #lykotestpilot and it lived up to my expectations of facial cleansing. It has a mild scent that doesn't bother me at all. It is gel in consistency and I have followed the advice to use it on slightly damp skin. So every time I have used it, I dampened my face a little beforehand and my hands, then I put a little of the cleanser and lathered it before I started washing my face. It cleans the face even if you have mascara on. If you really wash your eyes thoroughly, all makeup comes off. What I liked is that you don't need to use a large amount of the product at all for the face to get clean. A small amount is more than enough. I have combination skin, so I have normal to dry skin on the rest of my face but I am oily in the T-zone. But I haven't experienced my face getting drier after using it. It has worked just as well as other facial cleansers I have tested before. It is affordable and gentle on the skin. I will definitely buy it again as it is affordable. I got to test three different products from #khiels and I have liked them all. Good for sensitive skin, but is it worth the price?🧐
First impression: I like that it doesn't smell strongly of perfume & the formula itself.🤗 I have sensitive and very dry skin, so I'm always cautious with new cleansers.👀 The first time I tried this one from Kiehl's, my skin reacted a bit and turned red, but that went away quickly. After that, it has worked very well for me. It cleans thoroughly without making my skin feel tight or dry afterward, and it is actually gentler on my skin than my usual cleanser from Garnier, which can sometimes make me feel a bit tight. The reason it doesn't get a full score is that I personally am currently prioritizing more affordable options. It is absolutely good and something I could buy again in the future, but it's not an urgent “must-have” for me. Again, thank you for letting me be #testpilot for these products from #kiehls. I have had the pleasure of testing some products from #kiehls like #lykotestpilot over the past few weeks! I haven't tried anything from Khiels before, but I have good associations with them as a brand. You can tell they have many years of experience in advanced skincare. And the fact that they were the first in the USA to list ingredients on their packaging before the law even required it speaks volumes about them as a company. Here comes my honest #lykoreview 🫧 👍 It really feels as gentle as it promises to be. No unnecessary perfumes or lather. Even though you should avoid the eye area, I have out of habit removed mascara with this as well, and have almost gotten everything off, without any irritation. Doesn't feel tight afterwards! This indicates that it contains good ingredients. The size of 75ml is super convenient to take with you in your bag, for example to the swimming pool. 👎 - I found it a bit stubborn to remove. It took a little time. It has some sort of shine to it, not sure if that's because of it? The shine feels more cosmetic than functional and kind of glides around for a while before you get everything off. But the fact that it doesn't make your skin feel tight and dry afterwards still balances it out. - It would have gotten a full score if it also removed mascara completely. But since it’s not actually intended for that purpose, it might be more about my own preferences. 👉 Summary: I think it cleans well, and absolutely does what it promises. Affordable and long-lasting cleanser!
I got to try this product via #lykotestpilot for a while. 😍 I haven't tested much from #kiehls before, so I started the test without high expectations for the product. The consistency of the cleanser is a gel that lathers up a little easily and cleanses what it should on the face when it comes to makeup, SPF, etc. But for mascara, I needed to do a double cleanse with it or use balm to get everything off, but that's the case with many cleansers, so it didn't bother me. The cleanser is unisex, and when my boyfriend tested it (normal skin), it worked well for him too. It is long-lasting and a little goes a long way, which is a big plus! ⭐️ It has a slight lather, and afterwards, you feel clean, the only negative was that it made me feel dry around the nose area where I am incredibly dry and sensitive during the winter. So for me, this would have suited better in the summer/spring when I am not as sensitive in that area. My skin is combination skin, with dry areas (like nose & eye area) and acne-prone skin. ✨It gets 4 stars as it did make it feel a bit drier overall where I am dry, but I would absolutely buy it again, but then use it in the summer/spring.
