Lovely patches!
As one of Lyko's Influtesters, I got to test this product, and my opinion of this product is 100% my own. ✨ My age and skin type: 36 years. I have combination skin but can sometimes get dry patches on my face. My skin sometimes feels dehydrated and tight despite an oily T-zone. I have no direct wrinkles or fine lines around my eyes. Just a "frown line" between my brows. ✨ Packaging: Nice design and easy to get out as they come on a small "plate". Two different protections around the masks, one thin and one a bit thicker. I had a little trouble getting the thicker protection off after application. But nothing that lowers the rating, just a bit of unfamiliarity on my part. Loved the shape and how they sat under the eyes. ✨ The product and results: It is very difficult to evaluate after one use, as a lot of skincare needs to be used for a while for visible results. But after using these patches, the eye area felt very rehydrated, plumped, and even tightened. The skin tone under the eyes also feels more even. I really like these eye patches! ✨ The price: High price for a single use for someone like me with a limited budget. It becomes quite a significant cost if you want to use them 2-3 times a week. Not such a big difference
✨ First impression Stable packaging and very user-friendly! Thick, which made them easy to apply. Didn't slide around either, but stayed where you placed them, which was nice 👌🏼 🍁 About me and my preferences I have a dry skin type that is somewhat sensitive, especially under the eyes. I use eye cream morning and night but don't treat myself to eye patches very often, maybe that will change! ☺️ 🏵️ My thoughts and experiences It's hard to get a proper impression after just one use. In terms of results, I felt like I mostly looked a bit more awake, as if it had brightened a bit under my eyes, but actually not a particularly big difference? For that price, I would have wanted more, I feel. Maybe I would have had a completely different feeling with more and better results from the 5-pack, but since it is also sold as a 1-pack, I expected at least a little more than what I got. I haven't found any eye patches that I'm totally sold on yet, but I really liked these with Verso's patented retinoate molecule! 😍 I have a very easy time getting puffy around the eyes, and with the slightest bit of tiredness, I get proper dark circles. These eye patches gave an instant effect; the darkness under my eyes decreased significantly, less puffy and tired eyes, and it felt more tightened – and at the same time hydrated! - around the eye area. Additionally, the masks fit like a dream! They didn't slide down at all (which I experience with the majority of all eye masks), but they stay where they should. The masks are a bit thicker than I'm used to, maybe that helps keep them in place? I also liked the shape; these are a bit more rounded at the edges, which takes away the feeling that they are on their way into the eye. Whether it gives a long-lasting effect is hard to say after just one use, but I'm definitely tempted to try. But spending about 100kr/pair when the recommended use is 2-3 times/week feels like too much to me - and the price tag is the only reason it doesn't get 5/5 stars. But if you're looking for an extra tightening glow for a special occasion - then these are definitely worth a try! OK, but no more
I have as #lykoinflutester tested these eye patches from #verso I prefer eye patches in gel form, so I was absolutely happy when I opened the packaging. They sat well under the eyes without sliding, and I had no sensations from them, either during or after use. I especially think about how retinol can cause reactions. However, I think there was far too little serum in the packaging, and it didn't take long before what was on had been absorbed by the skin. On most patches I've tested before, you have to rub or dab in the serum that remains when you take them off. 110kr for a pair of eye patches also feels a bit too pricey, even though Verso is a good skincare brand. There are cheaper variants in a jar of 30 pairs that I think are both better and cheaper. Very nice to use and stays where it should, which is always appreciated. They are luxuriously packaged and you can tell they are of high quality. However, I don't notice any real difference after use, but it can on the other hand be hard to see after just 1 use. I have 4 small children and it often shows on my eyes that sleep is lacking. And maybe these reduced the puffiness under my eyes, but otherwise I didn't notice anything special. But I also don't expect any miracles even though the content is super good and interesting. If these were available in multi-packs, I would have wished to buy them, but as a single pack it doesn't feel economically sustainable as I believe in continuous use. Unfortunately no difference
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try a few different products from #versoskincare. My skin around the eyes can be dry. I also have genetic bags under my eyes and sometimes a bit of extra puffiness 👀 I stored this eye mask in the fridge. The packaging is easy to open. The pieces are then conveniently placed in a plastic container that makes them easy to apply 👍 I find the mask to be a bit "thick" and hard to shape around the eyes, but it still stays on the whole time. I can feel a bit of itching. When I then remove these, there’s hardly any extra serum left to apply, and the eye area still feels a bit dry. First, I want to say that it is incredibly difficult to give a 100% review when you only try the product once. Luxurious eye patches✨️
I have had the honor of #lykoinflutester testing the Retinoate eye patches from #versoskincare ✨️ My skin right now during the winter is extremely dry. I get more dryness lines, dry patches, and my skin tightens quickly. I have hyperpigmentation around my eyes and darker circles. No swelling under the eyes. I am quite new to eye patches myself, but I love trying new skincare in the hunt for the perfect routine for me! These eye patches are said to visibly minimize wrinkles and fine lines while deeply hydrating. I let them sit for 30 min. The fit is good! They don’t slide on the skin and cover the entire eye area. When the skin absorbs the serum, they start to become more transparent and there is minimal serum left on the skin when I remove the patch (picture after 30 min). I experience no irritation or sensitivity despite more active ingredients, so that’s a plus! Afterwards, the area feels hydrated and the serum leaves a nice glow! However, it’s hard to judge a product after one use, so it’s unclear how the results will be after regular use, which makes these eye patches very expensive. Verso Retinoate Eye Patches
I, who have tested, am 37 years old and have dry skin, which needs a little extra love especially during the colder months. I also have psoriasis (though not on my face) and an allergy to some preservatives, so I am quite sensitive. I work nights and have small children, so I always suffer a bit from sleep deprivation. I am "naturally" a bit dark under the eyes, and that combination makes me always feel like I look a bit tired. To really give these eye patches a challenge, I used them after sleeping 5 hours after a night shift, before I was going out to dinner with colleagues. I can honestly say that I expected more from such an expensive product, especially since it comes from Verso, which usually delivers results. It promises, among other things, a visibly tightening effect and youthful radiance, and I don't know if I see any greater difference in that. However, I do think that the skin under my eyes feels more hydrated and somewhat plump at least for a few hours. I especially like the fit of these, which are perfect for the shape of my eyes, and they stay well in place even when I am hanging laundry while wearing them 😂 I would have liked if the product was available in a larger package, like a classic jar with 15-30 pairs in it (like Verso's other eye patches) to be able to use them regularly and see if it would provide greater and more long-term results. This especially considering that both retinoids and peptides take time to show effect. However, the packaging with only one pair makes it easier to take them out compared to trying to fish patches out of a jar without getting several at once. High potential!
First impression is positive - feels high-end and well thought out. The patches are super comfortable once they finally get in place and have a lovely weight that makes them almost stick to the skin. It inspires confidence right away – they stay where they should, without sliding! The fit is really good. There’s nothing to complain about, neither tips that sit wrong nor edges that irritate. 🫶🏻 However, it’s a bit tricky to get them out of the packaging. Not a big problem, but it requires a bit of patience – not exactly "rip open and go". My eyes in their natural state: no crow's feet, no dark circles, no bags. However, I have sensitive eyes, and this was clearly noticeable. The serum felt strong and made my eyes tear up, which says a lot. If you have sensitive eyes, this can definitely detract from the experience. ❣️ The product is clearly aimed at brightening and active effect, and that’s where we part ways. It’s simply not what I’m looking for in an eye product. Would I buy it again? No. Not because it’s bad – on the contrary, it’s effective and well-made – but because it doesn’t suit my needs or my eyes. Lovely, but what about the effect?
Now I've had the chance to test the Verso Retinoate Eye Patches in collaboration with Lyko. 😇 😍 I tested these along with two other eye and face products from Verso, which will be reviewed separately. The packaging is sleek and elegant, the product is well packed in a plastic case. As you can see in the video, it's not entirely easy to separate all the layers of protective plastic so that they end up with the right side on the skin. 😅 I have a typical combination skin but am drier this time of year and also have dark circles around my eyes. They are very nice and cooling on the skin. One tip is to store the packaging in the fridge for extra cooling. It's hard to say what the effect was since this is a single-use package. The product contains, among other things, vitamin A and chamomile. After about 20-30 minutes, my skin feels a bit softer and hydrated, but no major changes for me. They seem to be able to help with fine lines, wrinkles, dry skin, and evening out skin tone. It should be good for tired and mature skin, and I have that, but unfortunately, there was no visible miracle result for me. 🙈 The price of 110 kr is quite steep for a treatment, I think. They are sold in packs of 5 if desired. Maybe the result would have been different if the treatment was repeated at regular intervals? 🤔 In summary, lovely and hydrating but a bit tricky to apply and difficult to see any clear results. Use:
