CONVENIENT FOR REAPPLICATION 💌
As a #lykoinflutester, I’ve had the honor to try #cerave’s new sun protection products. First up for review is this fantastic sun stick with SPF 50! 🧴MY SKIN TYPE My skin tends to react when using sunscreen on my face. Usually by the same evening, I have at least one new pimple when I’ve used SPF, especially sunscreens that clog the skin. 🧴FEEL The texture of the stick is probably what I love most about the product; it barely feels on the skin! It lays like a “veil” without any greasy feeling. I often find sunscreens leave a sticky layer, but with the stick, it feels like “velvet.” 🧴USAGE Perfect for the area around the eyes, lips, and upper lip when it’s time for SPF reapplication! However, you need to use quite a bit of product for full effect, which is harder with a stick, so that’s why I find it wonderful for reapplication! 🧴SCENT Doesn’t smell particularly special but still has a slightly musty undertone. I can’t describe the scent exactly – almost as if the product has gone rancid. However, it doesn’t bother me during the day. 🧴RESULT Unfortunately, I haven’t used the product while sunbathing and therefore don’t know how the protection is. BUT it’s fantastic for “city” use. The stick hasn’t given me a single pimple so far, maybe because I mainly use it around my lips and eyes! Otherwise, it’s an SPF I will definitely continue using throughout the summer. PLUS + Incredibly easy application! + Nice velvety feeling. + Doesn’t cause breakouts. + Leaves no greasy layer like SPF usually does. + Perfect for the area around eyes and lips! Nice on the go
This is the perfect product to have in your beach bag. I like that it’s small and easy to carry on the go, since many of us are a bit too lazy to reapply sunscreen throughout the day. The formula is like a solid lip balm, quite greasy and feels long-lasting in use. I also really appreciate that there’s no synthetic fragrance in the product. It feels a bit greasy on the skin, or maybe more like a slightly firm “wax-like” consistency, but this didn’t bother me much since it melts more into the skin when you rub it in. I think it offers good value for the money (161 kr, 8 g), as it’s quite long-lasting. However, it’s probably best suited as an emergency solution/for use on the go rather than a sunscreen you use regularly, since it takes a bit of time and effort to apply properly. It’s so small that I’ve only used it on my face and on the most exposed parts of the body, like scars and moles. I don’t have “problem skin” and don’t struggle with acne or sensitivity, so I didn’t react to this. However, I can imagine it might be comedogenic for those who easily get breakouts from greasy creams, since it contains both shea and coconut fats, and isopropyl palmitate, all of which are comedogenic (clog pores). Neat and simple
I have been testing this sun stick for a few weeks now☀️ Invisible Sun Stick SPF 50+ is easy to apply and feels velvety soft on the skin, without any sticky feeling afterwards. It’s especially nice for applying to the middle part in the hair, where I often get sunburned. The packaging is small and neat, which makes it very practical to carry in the bag. It also has a faint scent that I can’t quite place, but it’s not overwhelming. I have had the chance to try sunscreen from #cerave. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) I have been using this sun stick diligently on the back of my hands and fingers, and on my lips, for several weeks now. I don’t want to use it on the rest of my face because it contains castor oil and my face tends to develop milia sometimes (I’m not saying this stick causes milia, I’m just cautious). As a sunscreen for my hands, it has been excellent though, and quite okay for the lips. The stick is fragrance-free and the texture is relatively thin. The area feels a bit sticky after application, but once it has absorbed, it hardly feels anything on the skin. The scent is quite unpleasant, but you barely notice it once the sunscreen has absorbed into the skin. It also doesn’t make you shiny when used. It looks a bit shiny at first, but once absorbed, it disappears. I give it a four. Invisible Sun Stick SPF 50+ 8 g
I got to try the CeraVe Invisible Sun Stick SPF50+ sunscreen stick. I hadn’t tried a stick-form sunscreen before, so it was nice to test something new. 🧡Pros: The best part of the product is definitely its ease of use: the small stick is easy to carry around and doesn’t mess up your hands or clothes when applying. The product also works well under makeup, and I’ve especially used it to protect tattoos. 🧡Cons: On the face, the product felt a bit too heavy for my taste, even though the finish looked matte. It also felt like the skin couldn’t breathe as well. On the lips, the product didn’t work for me either; it felt more drying. A good complement
Convenient little sun stick that is perfect to have in your bag for quick reapplication during the day. I especially like the shape; it’s simple, non-greasy, and practical when you want to improve sun protection on exposed areas like lips, nose, cheeks, or around the eyes without having to use your hands. I wouldn’t use it as my only sun protection over the entire face, but more as a practical touch-up product/complement during the day. Completely okay
This product is neither a hit nor a miss for me. It does its job, but I wasn’t completely sold. Unfortunately, the scent was not a hit – it doesn’t smell like classic sunscreen, but has a special scent that I personally didn’t really like. However, it has been perfect for my hands where I have atopic eczema. My new go-to SPF✈️
This stick is incredibly practical and easy to use, especially when you're short on time. It's small and fits perfectly in the bag, which makes it so easy to apply throughout the day. The best thing about the product is how simple the application is. You don't have to mess around with your hands, and as mentioned, it takes up very little space in the bag. I also like that it feels light on the skin and doesn't leave a sticky feeling at all. I have quite sensitive skin and usually am careful with products around the eyes, but this worked without any problems and didn't sting at all. It also gave a nice natural glow without making the skin look greasy. After several uses, I think this is a perfect product to have with you during the summer or when traveling. Convenient product for summer days☀️
I have never used this type of sunscreen product before, so it was interesting to get to try it out. I was not disappointed! The stick-like sunscreen is especially intended for the face, for example the nose or cheeks, as well as the lips. It was really easy to apply to these areas, and thanks to the stick shape, I didn’t have to get my hands dirty at all while applying it. In my opinion, this product works best to take along on a sunny day, for example to an amusement park. You can easily dab it on your face and lips throughout the day, even over makeup. I might not use this product alone as sunscreen, but would first apply some creamy product and then add this stick during the day. The product has no scent, which is a plus. Not quite my type of sun product
I got to try three sun products from #cerave thanks to #lykoinflutester. I would definitely have only used this on my lips. It feels too greasy on the face and takes a long time to apply on the face, and it's also hard to reach all areas. To be honest, I usually don't use sun protection on my lips. But this still feels pleasant. Like a regular lip balm. Convenient to carry and I will definitely use it up, even though I will be a bit bothered by the strange taste. But despite being greasy, it becomes invisible on both skin and lips. I also tried it as a touch-up during the day over makeup and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't totally ruin the makeup. Of course, they are good, but the feeling is unfortunately still that it is too greasy for me to like having it on my face. Smooth and doesn’t feel on the face 💛
I’ve now tested this sun stick for a while ☀️ I don’t have much prior experience with this type of product, but I have to say it’s very convenient! Nice to have with you for reapplication during the day without getting your hands messy ☺️ It’s easy to apply and I feel like the product doesn’t feel on the face but is very pleasant. It’s not “greasy” slippery, but just right! ✨ It’s fragrance-free and my skin, which can be somewhat sensitive, doesn’t react at all to this 🙏 However, I find it hard to tell if I’ve used enough and to know if I’ve missed any spots. I probably wouldn’t use this as my only sun protection but more for reapplying during the day 💛 But incredibly convenient to have in the handbag!
