Doesn't feel at all like it's made for my hair
I got to test the Ultimate Smooth series from #wellaprofessionals as a #lykoinflutester, which was fun even though it didn't suit me. In the first picture, you can see how it turned out when I used all the products in the series during the same hair wash. After that, I was much more careful, I can say, and the result wasn't as terrible, even though my hair still always felt dirty. The thing with the whole product line is that it's too much for my natural hair. But if we focus on the hair oil. The part of the hair that has been treated (bleached), which is only the ends, is the only place where I can put this product without the hair strands sticking together or being weighed down. I have to be extremely careful to only take a very little, and that I really only place it at the very ends, where the hair is bleached. If I do it this way, and use it together with a heat protectant, the ends don't dry out when I straighten it. And it's quite usable, after all, since the ends tend to look dry and dull when I've used heat tools. But no, I wasn't particularly fond of the product. Can feel the difference right away
I have had the pleasure of testing the entire Ultimate Smooth series from Wella Professionals as a lykoinflutester, and my blonde, bleached, and curly hair has really loved it! This review specifically concerns the Ultimate SmoothMask 150 ml. This hair mask is a real moisture bomb! Right when I apply it, I can feel how it embraces my hair with its creamy and rich consistency. I have used it every other time I washed my hair, between shampoo and conditioner, and I notice a huge difference in softness and shine. More of a hair mask than a conditioner
I got to test the Ultimate Smooth series from #wellaprofessionals as a #lykoinflutester, which was fun to do even though the series was too much for my hair. As you can see in the picture, it didn't turn out well when I used all the products at the same hair wash. So I stopped that and started testing the products a bit more individually and cautiously :) So if we focus on the conditioner, or the balm as I, born in the 80s, like to say. The product I liked the most in the series is this one. But for me, this is not a conditioner; for me, it works more like a hair mask, which becomes just right if I use it every third hair wash or maybe even less often, and then only absolutely at the very ends, which is the only part of my hair that is treated (bleached) and therefore the driest. As a conditioner in a larger part of the hair than that, it absolutely does not work well. The hair becomes heavy and dirty quickly, which is the problem with all the products in this series. Way too much for my hair
I got to test this hair product line as a #lykoinflutester, which was exciting to do. It's a nice product that seemed promising. A mistake at the beginning was that I used all the products at the same hair wash. As you can see in the first picture, it was a really bad idea. For a little context, I have flyaway, fine (fine strands, that is), smooth Scandinavian hair, and my hair is mostly untreated but has some ombre bleaching left in the ends. After the grease catastrophe (in the picture), I switched to a more cautious use. But I unfortunately still have to say that this hair mask is way too “powerful” for me. My hair gets weighed down, heavy, and dirty quickly. In the period I have tested these products, I have used the shampoo every time and alternated between the conditioner and the hair mask as needed. There is the same neutral and nice scent from all the products, I like that, the consistency in the product line ties them together better. The scent is simple, not too strong and pleasant. I can't quite put my finger on what it smells like, it's not floral, leans more towards something sweet/caramel-like maybe. The first week or two I used the products in this series, I struggled a lot with greasy hair, even dry shampoo didn't help. My hair adjusted after the first period, so it got better over time. Nice bottle that is easy to get the product out of, I also like that the bottle is transparent so you can see exactly how much product is left. This way you don't have to stand in the shower with wet hair and suddenly run out of shampoo. I have to use quite a bit of the shampoo to get my hair clean, and for me, it definitely didn't suffice with just 1 wash per time. I had to do a double wash for the best effect. The shampoo lathered very little in use, maybe good to know if this is something you would think about when choosing shampoo. The shampoo glides easily through the hair and rinses out easily, I didn't experience a single tangle when using this which made me feel more confident during washing without breaking the hair strands and the washing went quickly and effectively! I like that all the products have risen in the routine on the front of the packaging, and the instructions on how to use it on the back. Already from the first wash, my hair became incredibly shiny and looked healthy almost down to the ends. The first thought after the first wash was «wow what a shine!». And that shine has lasted since day 1 and is still really nice even without any «maintenance» between washes. All in all, I am quite satisfied with this hair series, it is not perfectly matched to my specific needs, therefore the product does not get top score from me. But I definitely see that this could be a hit for someone with slightly different hair than mine. Easy to distribute in the hair as there were no tangles! According to the instructions on the back of the product, the hair should be damp, but not wet when the product is used. It's impractical to have to dry the hair until it's almost towel-dry before applying the product, you usually use this in the shower right after shampoo. For my part, I just squeezed out as much water as possible from the hair before I applied the product, and that worked in my opinion. I like that all the products have risen in the routine on the front of the packaging, and the instructions on how to use it on the back. Already from the first wash, my hair became incredibly shiny and looked healthy almost down to the ends. The first thought after the first wash was «wow what a shine!». I found that this worked best for me if I avoided putting it all in the scalp, and rather just in the lengths and ends. I just missed more moisture and life in the ends when using this. I like that all the products have risen in the routine on the front of the packaging, and the instruction on how to use it on the back. Already from the first wash, my hair became incredibly shiny and looked healthy almost down to the ends. The first thought after the first wash was «wow what a shine!». I think this is okay, but if there is one product in this series that I think one could do without, it would be this one since the conditioner is already so effective, at least on my hair. Started Losing Hair
My hair type: Scandinavian, flyaway (at least normally) and pin straight, tends to not take color when dyeing hair, for example. I got to try Wella's Ultimate Smooth series as a #lykoinflutester and was enthusiastic. A little too enthusiastic, because I used everything at once. Shampoo, hair mask in the lengths, conditioner, and then miracle Oil in the ends. It turned out to be way too much for my hair. Yeah, you can see for yourself in the picture. The hair became heavy and an oily, greasy disaster. It was a mistake to use all the products at the same hair wash, but shame on the one who gives up! Next time I only used the shampoo and conditioner on the ends. No miracle oil. As the second picture shows, it got better, but I still felt the hair was heavy and shapeless, and it got dirty after half a day. Normally, I can go three days without it looking dirty. Next time I chose to wash my hair twice with the shampoo, to then really just take the conditioner all the way out to the ends. But no. The hair felt dull. And when I tried to blow-dry it, or use the curling iron, there were no curls. I think my hair has never weighed this much? The shampoo smells light, and has, in my opinion, a nice slightly spicy but still soft scent. But unfortunately, neither the hair nor the scalp felt clean afterward. I thought the scalp felt greasy even after I had blow-dried. To be honest, it reminded me of an episode in my youth when I decided to only wash my hair with green soap. After about 1.5 weeks, I started losing a lot of hair, so I stopped even trying to use the product anymore and returned to my usual. Oh, how nice it was. And even though I can't say for sure if it was the products that caused the hair loss, it stopped at least when I stopped using the products. Unfortunately not for me
My hair is shoulder-length, curly/wavy, colored, and gets frizzy quickly. I mostly use sea salt spray for my everyday styling. Before I got to test this product, I was already using products that I was really happy with. This conditioner has a lovely consistency, clean scent, and is economical in use. It’s totally okay, but my hair feels tired, heavy, and was difficult to comb after washing. My curls usually pop, but now my hair was too heavy. When my hair dried, it didn’t feel smooth or shiny as described. I also felt that my hair got greasy faster than before. My hair: shoulder-length, curly/fall, colored, gets frizzy easily. I mostly use saltwater spray for styling on a daily basis. Best product in the series
Was so lucky to receive 4 different products from Wella Professionals' Ultimate Smooth series to test them out. Pros: ✔️ Gives a nice shine and protects against heat ✔️ Helps reduce frizz and makes hair more manageable ✔️ Light consistency that doesn't feel too greasy Cons: ❌ Can be too heavy for fine curls – requires careful dosing ❌ Doesn't provide enough moisture on its own, should be combined with a leave-in cream ❌ The effect is temporary and disappears after a few hours Conclusion: This is a good serum if you need a «final finish» to smooth out frizz and add shine. But for really dry curls, it won't be enough on its own – you also need a moisturizing leave-in or cream. Overall rating of the series for curly, dry hair: If you have curly and dry hair, the mask will be the most useful product for you. The shampoo can be a bit too cleansing, and the conditioner isn't moisturizing enough on its own. Great shampoo!
As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to test this lovely series from #WellaProfessionals. I've been using it for a few weeks, and I think my hair has become really nice. I've been using Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Shampoo for about 3 weeks, and I still have a lot of the products left. It is developed with Metal Purifier technology to cleanse the hair of metals, even though I don't quite know what that means? The shampoo contains a blend of notes from jasmine, vanilla, bergamot, peach, and sandalwood - and I love this scent. So it's just perfect for me. I have cut my hair and removed the hair extensions I had before. My hair is therefore very damaged. And colored. But this series is really great - and I feel that my hair has become much fresher. It is economical to use and easy to get out of the bottles. My hair is soft, shiny, and feels fresher. As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to test this gorgeous series from #WellaProfessionals I tried the Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Hair Mask. It is supposed to provide deep nourishment and make the hair smooth and shiny. It has Squalane and Omega-9 to nourish the inside and rebuild the hair on the outside - dermatologically tested and suitable for colored hair. This nourishing hair treatment contains a blend of notes from jasmine, vanilla, bergamot, peach, and sandalwood - and I think the scent is absolutely amazing. I just got my hair cut and took out the hair extensions I had, and I have also used the hair treatment evenly along with the other products. I think my hair is soft, shiny, smooth, and feels fresh. Good in theory, but not perfect for me
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this hair serum. My hair is typically Scandinavian with thin, fine strands. My hair often feels dry, which seems to be standard when you turn 50. The serum comes in a nice pump bottle that dispenses a suitable amount. One pump is enough for my hair. Big plus for containing heat protection and shielding against UV light. All hair products should really do this! On the day of washing, my hair looks wonderfully shiny, but the next day it feels flat and dirty. I can imagine it works much better for thicker hair that doesn't lose so much volume the day after washing. For me, there are better serums and hair oils, so I will pass this on to someone with better waves.
