Summer Dream
According to descriptions I've read, the scent should open with pitaya. However, I experience the initial scent as a really sugary cherry liqueur. It settles quite quickly, and a floral powdery peony scent and fresh frangipani (exotic flower) with a light cherry scent linger and take over more and more. Finally, you can sense a bit of vanilla, not cloyingly sweet but warm, mixed with patchouli. Patchouli is a fairly complex scent note with woody elements (mossy, woody, slightly spicy, and sweet like cocoa). In other words, there is a lot of floral scent and sweetness in this perfume. But without becoming either childishly sweet or granny-like powdery. I really understand the symbolism in the bottle – a butterfly among flowers, but also a free woman who lightly flies wherever she wants. And the pink color of the glass reflects the scent incredibly well. I am a person who uses scents according to mood and therefore have a very varied “scent wardrobe.” This one is a clear choice for happy summer days. Sparkling, energetic, and youthful but without being childish. Perfect for older youths and adults who don’t feel old yet 😂 I think it’s a scent that actually suits most people. A very feminine scent. It’s probably a bit too sweet for winter, when Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl is a better choice (in my opinion). I was really pleasantly surprised by this perfume! 🌸 It smells feminine, sweet, and elegant without being too strong. It has a soft and luxurious feel that suits both everyday wear and when you want to feel a little extra special. The scent also lasts a long time on the skin and even longer on clothes, which is a big plus. The bottle is also incredibly beautiful and makes a nice detail on the makeup table. A feminine and fruity scent
As a Lyko influencer tester, I have had the chance to try La Bomba Eau de Parfum 50 ml from Carolina Herrera over the past few weeks. My first impression of the perfume was that it was very beautiful. Feminine, playful, and it caught my interest right away. After reading about the scent, I already felt I would like it, and I did. 💁♀️ A feminine and wonderful scent that is both elegant and playful, as it contains (in my opinion) both fruity and slightly floral notes. I can smell both Cherry 🍒 (which is one of my absolute favorites in scents) and a bit of vanilla and peony. A nice blend that goes well together! A scent I believe many would like, playful, exciting, and fantastic! 💁♀️ I think the longevity of the perfume is good! The scent lasts, and I can still smell it on my clothes several days after spraying it. I really like this perfume and have received compliments from people around me saying I smell so good when I wear it! La Bomba bombards me with compliments 🥹💣
Carolina Herrera’s new perfume La Bomba is without a doubt one of the most unique perfumes I own. It’s floral with a fruity twist where I can sense notes of cherry and vanilla, but without either taking over. Everything melts together in a very luxurious way! The scent lasts super long and really stays on the skin, clothes, and in the hair. The bottle with the beautiful butterfly is incredibly pretty and has become part of the decor here at home. Besides already receiving a ton of compliments for this scent, it has also become my boyfriend’s new absolute favorite perfume on me, which says a lot! Too much at the beginning, becomes rounder after 30 min on my skin 😊
Had the honor to try this perfume & here is my opinion: I already had a hard time deciding which perfume(s) I would like, it’s hard when you can’t smell them, so I went by feeling & its top notes. First impression: Very nice packaging on the perfume. A bit unusual for me as I’m very basic in everything I own, so a butterfly perfume feels a bit extra cool🫣 Was a bit skeptical at first because I didn’t like it, it was too strong & too much for me. When I let it sit on my skin for maybe 30 minutes, it became much softer & rounder, then I started to like it more. Also got compliments at work that people thought it was such a lovely scent spreading when they came close to me, positive 😊 It smells very sweet to me but not so much that it becomes cloying. Very grown-up scent I’d say in combination with the sweet (vanilla). I still have a bit of a hard time with it right after application as it becomes very strong but then when it settles for a while it becomes amazing. My partner liked it, a female & also a male colleague at work too, so fun!😊 Like it more & more. Feel confident & beautiful when I wear it. The spray itself is good & gives an even layer on the skin. Summer(bird) in a bottle!
First of all, what an incredibly beautiful bottle! I couldn’t afford to put THIS one IN the cabinet, but had to nicely have it as decoration on a table :) Are you looking for a perfume that lasts all day, and even longer? Then you can read a bit here. If you also like scents that are maybe a bit lighter than many eau de parfums can be, that smell sweet and summery, then you’ve come to the right place! This scent here, I can only remember having smelled once before: Summer in Sweden, year 1999, when all the ladies were freshly showered, and the lovely scent of all body soaps, creams, perfumes mixed together, and it smelled like SUMMER! The scent lasted both through the day and into the next day, so here you don’t have to spray all over your body just to maybe smell it for a little while. Carolina Herrera La Bomba is an incredible perfume in every way. Beautiful bottle, scent lasts long
BEAUTIFUL bottle! I love pink, and the overall look of this perfume is wonderfully feminine... or perfectly girly pop 🤌✨ At first sniff, I wasn’t immediately convinced, but it took some time to grow on me. When the top notes fade, the scent softens and the lovely vanilla really comes through! On the first use, once the scent had settled, it reminded me a bit of Valentino Donna Born in Roma. Now, however, I feel it fits more in the same category as Armani’s newer Power of You fragrance. Both have fruitiness and vanilla, but this one is a bit muskier, and the fruitiness isn’t as prominent. Also, the perfume has a slightly cherry nuance (at least at the beginning). My friend fell in love with the scent on me and described it as youthful (but not childish)... I totally agree! So overall, a really good and long-lasting perfume on the skin that I will definitely use. Floral Grandma Scent
I bought this with my points, and I have to say it’s unfortunately not for me. To me, it doesn’t smell fruity at all, just floral in a very grandma-like way. We just don’t click, me and La Bomba! Summery scent in luxurious packaging
Very exclusive and luxurious packaging that can also be refilled when the perfume runs out. The perfume itself smells very strong and lasts incredibly well, so for me one spray was enough. I don’t like it when a perfume completely takes over. I want to wear the perfume, not the perfume wear me ;) The scent is very sweet and floral, so I definitely don’t perceive it as a fruity perfume. When you spray it, I think the cherry scent comes through quite quickly, but after a while the other scent notes also emerge. I wished the vanilla came through a bit more, but it doesn’t for me. I would say it’s truly a summer scent. I really love the luxurious packaging and that the scent lasts so well, but it didn’t become a new favorite for me. I prefer perfumes that are more fruity than this one and preferably more vanilla.
