As a #lykoinflutester, I have been testing this cream for about 4 weeks, morning/evening, and here comes my honest review: 🙌 About my skin: - A bit older and more on the dry side - Has started to lose some elasticity and its natural glow. - Some wrinkles and uneven skin tone. - A bit sensitive, especially on the cheeks. 🤔 Thoughts on the packaging: - Incredibly appealing and luxurious. - Glass and quite "heavy" so it feels good in the hand, no feeling that it will slip out of the hand. - A spatula is included, but I only use it for the first 3 times, then I "can’t be bothered" and just use my clean finger. 💫 Feel and results: - Such a lovely consistency, rich without being greasy. - Leaves no sticky residue, just makes the skin baby-soft and plump. A healthy natural glow. - Absorbs super quickly. - No negative reaction, no redness or breakouts. - Mild scent, absolutely no scent bomb. - Hard to say if it has reduced my wrinkles, but since it has a plumping effect, there is still a feeling that it does. - Works sooooo well under makeup, doesn’t clash with anything. - Long-lasting hydration, not just "on paper" but the hydration feels long-lasting. - A little goes a long way, so the cream will last a long time! - No negative reaction despite sensitive skin! 👋 I have tried to find something negative about this, but I can’t find anything bad. Many might be scared off by the price tag, but I still think the price is reasonable since it is so concentrated and will last a long time! There are also refills available for a smaller amount - so incredibly good!!! 🧴 I can’t help but be incredibly charmed by this luxurious cream. I tend to be a bit skeptical of expensive brands, but Shiseido is one of the few expensive brands that I think lives up to its reputation. I never feel "duped" by their products! #shiseido #lykoinflutester #ansiktskräm21 likes947 viewsMalin
6 daysLovely that it suited your sensitive skin too! I have sensitive skin as well, so you get a bit nervous every time you try a new product since you don't know how your skin will react 🤔

I was very excited to test this product from Shiseido, as I have previously considered them an exclusive brand. The packaging is super nice and the jar even prettier, it shines in all its glory in my bathroom 🌸 I always cleanse my face before applying skincare 🧖♀️ And the first impression was that this was a FAT cream, so I use a regular amount since fatty creams are economical in use. I especially love fatty creams to have on overnight 🌙 The cream felt immediately lovely on the skin during application. But shortly after about 20-30 seconds while I was "patting" it into the skin, I experienced that it dried extremely fast. 10-20 seconds later it had dried in so well that the skin felt dry? And then it started to sting. Something I reacted very strongly to, and my immediate thought was "the cream doesn’t contain denatured alcohol, does it?" I reach for the box, and yes it does!! It is even listed as the fourth ingredient 😱 This means that alcohol is the fourth highest ingredient in the product. I must honestly admit great shock and disappointment that a brand like Shiseido includes alcohol in their skincare products in today’s market. And especially so high up on the ingredient list. What does that mean for you? Denatured alcohol is a well-known "no-no" ingredient in the skincare world that can be over-stripping on the skin, dry it out, cause irritation, and even disrupt the skin barrier. I felt that I had to apply a new layer almost immediately before I realized it contained alcohol. Alcohol in skincare increases your oil production and makes oily skin worse, can cause breakouts and larger pores (source: Paula's choice) I have never reacted negatively to any irritants in skincare products as my skin has a high tolerance, but I reacted to this cream immediately, which was new for me. You can see in the attached picture of the cream pulled out on my hand, how quickly it has dried in at the thin areas - this thanks to the alcohol. It was disappointing. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SHISEIDO2 likes231 views Tharsana

I have tested products from #shiseido, and this cream is a face cream that moisturizes the skin. It is enriched with hyaluronic acid that helps the skin to rehydrate and strengthen its natural barriers for a softer and more moisturizing feel. The cream is light and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy film. Suitable for you with tired or dry skin as it immediately boosts and hydrates and gives a fresh look. It is extremely luxurious and therefore the price. It is of premium quality and an advanced formula. I use this in small amounts, and a downside is that it is a bit expensive.🤧 #lykoinflutester+2

I have been using the cream for about 2 weeks, so not too long and not enough to notice clear results. What I can already say is that it provides a lot of moisture and is very nice as a night cream, especially now that it has gotten colder outside. I have combination skin and find that it can be a bit too oily during the day, especially for me since I use sunscreen and serum as well. It also has a bit of shimmer. As a night cream, however, it is absolutely perfect - I can already tell that my skin feels more «plump» when I wake up. I can tolerate quite a bit and wouldn’t say that I am particularly sensitive, but I can sometimes notice irritation around the eye area. I haven’t experienced that here, but as mentioned, the cream is somewhat oily, so I would avoid applying the cream around the eyes. Over time, this can lead to milia for some, which are difficult to get rid of. I love the jar - it’s heavy and feels exclusive. The consistency is rich, yet still easy to spread. It absorbs okay, not completely I would say, but I like it when it’s like a night cream. All in all, it’s a good first impression, but I need to use it a bit more to say if it gives any «wow effect». I don’t think the price is that bad considering how far the cream goes, and that it’s possible to buy refills for a cheaper price. #lykoinflutester #shiseido3 likes168 viewsNegin
5 daysVerifierad testareMoisturizing but watch out for certain ingredients
I have tested this cream for about four weeks. My skin is sensitive but quite dry with fine lines around the eyes especially. Around the nose, I can be a bit oilier though. The cream comes in a luxurious glass container. It is really solid and heavy. A small plastic spatula is included. It is a rich cream, which makes it well-suited for dry and mature skin. However, if you are oilier, this will feel too greasy. It gives a nice moisture boost despite alcohol in the INCI list for my dry skin and works well with other skincare products regardless of brand. The skin feels well moisturized and soft throughout the day. Very economical when you use it. It is quite strongly scented like much else from the brand. Scent is personal of course but can also be potentially irritating for different individuals. I find the scent to be somewhat strong but still pleasant and I prefer my skincare with a bit of scent, so for me, it works excellently. The only downside besides the scent is the price. This doesn't fit everyone's wallet, but if you have cash to spare, it's a very nice cream. Pros: + Moisturizing + Luxurious + Works well for dry and mature skin + Gives a nice glow to the skin Cons: - Scented - Potentially irritating ingredients - Price range #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SHISEIDO+1

5 daysVerifierad testareOne word - fantastic!
I have both oily and dry skin. Around my nose and on my chin, I have oily skin, while my forehead can often be a bit dry. I also often struggle with redness in my skin, and not all products I find work equally well on my skin, as I easily get pimples. This cream, however! Like, where do I even start. I think it’s so good. It smells nice, it’s not sticky on the skin, the consistency is really luxurious, and my skin feels much more supple and «hydrated» as the name of the cream suggests (already after the first time I used it!). I’ve used this cream along with an eye cream from the same brand both morning and night on the days I haven’t worn makeup. On the days I’ve worn makeup, I’ve used a primer from the same brand in the morning before my makeup routine and this face cream at night. I felt my skin quality improved after using these products. Since I’ve tested «all at once», it’s hard to say which of the products worked «best», but I love the combo. I also feel the products have been surprisingly economical in use, which is really good since these products are in a higher price range than what I would usually go for. I took some before and after pictures. In the before picture, I had already used the cream for a day… I don’t think any of my forehead wrinkles have gotten any smaller, maybe it takes longer to see results, but I think you can see in the picture that the skin looks more supple and fresher. It definitely feels that way – much softer. I have also tested the following products: ✨Eye cream: Wrinkle Smoothing Eye Cream 15 ml lyko.com/no/shiseido/shiseido-benefiance-neura-wrinkle-smoothing-eye-cream-15-ml?fromsearch=Wrinkle%2BSmoothing%2BEye%2BCream%2B15%2Bml ✨Primer: Revitalessence Glow Primer 30 ml lyko.com/no/shiseido/shiseido-revitalessence-glow-primer-30-ml?fromsearch=Revitalessence%2BGlow%2BPrimer%2B30%2Bml In summary: ➕ Lovely scent ➕ Gives the skin a moisture boost and makes it soft ➕ Luxurious consistency that doesn’t get sticky on the face after application ➕ Easy to wash off from fingers after application ➕ You can feel that the cream is still on the skin for a long time, without feeling «tight» on the skin ➖ Hmm… I don’t know if I can come up with any downsides here. Maybe the price, and that there’s no SPF in this, but I see there’s a similar type that has SPF. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SHISEIDO2 likes158 viewsJanna
5 daysVerifierad testareVery moisturizing!
I had the opportunity and pleasure to test three products from Shiseido for a month. A fantastic brand with many lovely products, so the joy and anticipation were total when I received these products My skin: I don't have any major challenges with dryness/oily skin/acne/pores, more than that it can lean towards the drier side during the winter. In that way, my skin is fairly uncomplicated, but as a 30-something and a parent of small children, my skin has started to look a bit.. tired and dull, and a couple of fine lines have started to show up here and there. Here are my thoughts on the Essential Energy Hydrating Cream; - Beautiful and luxurious packaging! - Incredibly moisturizing - as promised - and gives a glow! Right at the beginning of the testing period, the cream was almost on the verge of being a bit too moisturizing for me. My face looked rather a bit greasy after a few hours, and I had to dab on a little extra powder during the day. So I primarily used it as a night cream instead, and that worked great! But towards the end of the testing period, when it started to get colder outside and noticeably drier in the air (and thus also my skin), the cream has been absolutely perfect even as a day cream! I get a really nice glow without looking greasy. - Very economical, looks hardly used despite the fact that I have used it at least once a day for a month. - However, I am a bit torn when it comes to the scent, which I think reminds me too much of that traditional, almost a bit cheap, sunscreen scent. It bothers me a little, but not enough to stop using the product. But I would personally have preferred a more subtle scent. It is a super lovely face cream that I can absolutely see myself continuing to use during the winter months! But during the summer months, I will probably switch to a lighter one Picture 1: Without products Picture 2: With Shiseido Essential Energy Hydrating Cream + Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Eye Cream #Shiseido #Lykoinflutester4 likes218 viewsVanja
6 daysVerifierad testareHydrating & good ingredients
🤎 I would describe this cream as thick and "heavy," giving an oily feeling at first. However, it absorbs quickly into the skin and actually becomes matte. 🤎 I have oily T-zone, but this cream was good at controlling that area and it didn't make my skin extra oily. 🤎 It deeply hydrates the skin and gives a nice glow. I liked how glowy my skin looked after applying this cream. It works well with makeup as well. 🤎 The packaging is heavy and it looks luxurious. There is also a refill option available for 100kr less, which is a plus. 🤎 This cream has many ingredients, including a good dose of perfume and alcohol, so be careful around the eyes, especially on the sensitive undereye area. The scent is pleasant, but the alcohol smell is almost too strong for me, especially during application. 🤎 The ingredients I researched and particularly liked in this cream are: * 2-0-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C Derivative) - antioxidant that brightens the skin, evens skin tone, and fights free radical damage. * Tocopherol (Vitamin E) - An antioxidant that works with Vitamin C to protect the skin from environmental stressors. * Caffeine - Helps reduce redness and puffiness while improving skin's texture and circulation. 🤎 This cream has lots of hydrating and soothing ingredients that are excellent for hydration and anti-aging purposes. 💔 A long list of ingredients, especially alcohol and fragrance might be too harsh for sensitive skin #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SHISEIDO+1

6 daysVerifierad testareLike it so much, BUT..
I was so lucky to receive this moisturizer from Shiseido to test it out as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I am 34 years old, have normal to dry skin. A bit sensitive at times if products contain a lot of fragrance. I've got some lines around my eyes and a small smile line by my mouth. And I get some pimples/bumps now and then. Shiseido is known for being some of the best in skincare in its category - luxurious skincare. So my expectations for this cream were very high, since I am very picky about creams that can be used both as a night and day cream The packaging is in the well-known Shiseido style. Heavy, luxurious jar that sits well in the hand and looks very nice on the bathroom shelf. It comes with a spatula, so you don't have to put your fingers in the jar. A big plus that you can also buy refills for it! The consistency of the cream is so lovely. Thick, but a bit gel-like. And it doesn't feel greasy on the skin at all, as it absorbs quickly. The skin feels velvety soft, plump, and hydrated right away. Additionally, it is very economical in use, you don't need much cream to cover both face, neck, and chest (important to prevent aging there too!) The scent is probably what brings it down for me. The scent is nice, for sure. A fresh and floral scent. But the fragrance ingredients in the cream seem to be what my skin reacts to. After using this morning and night, every day for 14 days, I've noticed many more outbreaks of small pimples/whiteheads on my cheeks, forehead, and chin. Something I can get if I test products with a lot of fragrance. So if you have sensitive skin, this cream is unfortunately probably not for you. But as I said, I've only used it for 14 days straight. I will try to take a break from it, to see if the pimples disappear when I continue with my fragrance-free products. And then start again, to see if they come back Other than the small pimple outbreaks, I love the cream, as it sits incredibly well under makeup and really hydrates my skin well both during the day and at night. My skin never feels dry and tight when I get up after using this in my evening routine. And when I use it during the day, it gives my skin such a healthy, fresh glow But as I said, I need to take a break from it now and try it again before I know if it's the cream I'm reacting to or if the small pimples are hormonal #SHISEIDO3 likes198 viewsJosefin
6 daysVerifierad testareNo for this sensitive dry ball
I was lucky enough to try the Shiseido Essential Energy Hydrating Cream, and I’ve been a fan of the brand for a long time. First, we need to talk about the packaging - the jar feels so luxurious and is like a piece of jewelry in the bathroom cabinet! It also came with a spatula, but that got lost pretty quickly The consistency is a bit fluffy creamy and the cream absorbs nicely into the skin. It gives a natural glow, but I still feel a bit dry now that it’s starting to get cold. Even when I have toner and moisture serum in my routine, the cream still feels a bit too weak in the cold. The cream has a pretty strong scent, and I’ve noticed that my skin has become a bit irritated, especially on the chin, which I think is due to the scent. Pros + The gorgeous jar! + You can buy refills, which is good for both the wallet and the environment + Lovely consistency + Gives a natural and "healthy" glow to a dull winter-pale face Cons - The scent! It’s nice, but way too strong and probably the reason my skin gets a bit irritated during use. - Claims visible results on wrinkles in just two weeks, but I don’t see any difference in my fine lines more than possibly a little right after application I, as the tester, am 36 years old, with dry skin. I also have psoriasis (though not on my face) and allergies to some preservatives, so I’m quite sensitive. I have some minor pigmentation, a few fine lines (mainly around the eyes), and get the occasional pimple, usually in connection with my period. I will not buy this product again, as it didn’t do enough for me and my skin got irritated by the scent. However, I’ve seen others be very satisfied with it, and I’m happy with my other products from Shiseido.+1

1 weekVerifierad testareHmmm torn 🤷♀️
I've been testing the #SHISEIDO Essential Energy Hydrating Cream for a month now and I'm torn. 😱🤔 One side of me loves it, as it deeply hydrates and feels incredible on the skin! 😍 The other side says no, it has given me breakouts.🤔 I certainly don't want to blame Shiseido, but my skin has totally freaked out since using this cream! 🤔 - but the breakouts started before this, so there's definitely uncertainty, but it has just worsened. I recently got help determining my skin type from a skin therapist. I went into the Lyko store on Drottninggatan in Stockholm and got help from Anna - (shoutout!!) who helped me with a completely new routine to help with this. Her guess was that I had been mixing creams/serums wildly and destroyed my skin barrier. Anna also told me that I have combination/oily skin, something I've never had! 😂 I've always been a dry skin person who only had “problems” with pores. So back to this cream. I love the consistency. I love the scent, which is super fresh. And I love how it leaves my skin hydrated and feels great to have this under makeup. Pros: 🤩Hydrating - and it feels that way all day 🤩Skin has a glow✨ 🤩Incredible scent 🤩Looks great under makeup and appears hydrated all day Whether this has caused me to have breakouts or not is completely impossible to answer. That said, I still think I’ll give it a 4/5 rating. So I can explore further. With the help of the once again incredible Anna, I can combine this into my current NEW skincare routine, and will continue to do so. 😁 4/5 #lykoinflutester+3

I have combination skin, and my skin loves this! A lovely face cream for both morning and night. It works well in combination with serum and absorbs quickly while still feeling moisturizing. Makeup also applies nicely on top. It's very economical to use, so the jar will probably last me a long time. The consistency is a bit gel-like and gives a nice glow. Smells lovely, just like the rest of the products from Shiseido. The jar is nice and heavy, but I’m mostly a fan of creams with pumps for hygienic reasons. Other than that, this is a completely lovely cream ✨ #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SHISEIDO288 views
