A new favorite! ✨
This eye cream has truly surprised me and quickly become a new favorite in my skincare routine! ✨ At first, I was actually a bit unsure if I would notice any major difference, since I have tried quite a few different eye creams before without really feeling that they made any noticeable difference. But right from the first use, I got a positive feeling. The first thing I noticed was that the skin around my eyes felt more hydrated, smoother, and almost a little tightened. You can really feel that the product works with the skin and it gives a very fresh feeling without the area feeling dry or tight in an uncomfortable way 🫶🏼. After using it regularly, both morning and evening, I have especially noticed a difference in my fine lines under the eyes. They feel less prominent and the area looks smoother and more awake. I also think the whole eye area looks fresher and more rested, which I really appreciate! 🥰 Another thing I like is the feeling after application. The eye contour feels soft and hydrated, while the cream doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. It fits very well both in my morning routine and in the evening. I also think it works nicely under makeup since the skin feels hydrated and even 💃🏻✨. I have been testing this eye cream from #theordinary as #lykotestpilot for a few weeks now. I am 35 years old, have slightly sensitive combination skin. I have been looking forward to testing this ever since it came out. So I was super happy when I got an email from Lyko saying I would get to test it🤩 I think the design of the tube is good and very much in The Ordinary’s style. Very practical that you don’t get more product out than you actually need. The eye cream itself is quite thick when it comes out but applies very nicely around the eyes. I think it took quite a long time to absorb, but when I put on makeup half an hour later, luckily it didn’t affect my makeup at all. Maybe this is better for those who have drier skin than I do around the eyes. But it moisturizes very well, so I’m not complaining, hehe! An eye cream that I really liked. I've tried a few different brands before, but this one has become a favorite! I really liked the creamy texture and it was easy to work around the eye area. You immediately feel hydrated and get a glow after application. Super nice result from this eye cream as I feel more hydrated and tighter around the eyes after a few weeks of use, which results in looking "fresher." Perfect for dry skin!
I have very dry and sensitive skin, and easily get eczema under my eyes, so I’m always a bit cautious (and quite skeptical) when it comes to eye creams. I’ve tried several aimed at sensitive skin but usually get a rash almost immediately. But not with this one! 😍 It’s amazing!! The texture is so wonderfully creamy, it glides on so easily and moisturizes all day without irritating the skin. And I don’t know if I’m imagining it, but I actually think the lines under my eyes look less noticeable too! Really like it!
I really like this eye cream! It feels very nice and pleasant on the skin while moisturizing properly without feeling uncomfortable. I've also noticed that my under-eye bags have gotten smaller since I started using it, which I'm very happy about. The skin around my eyes feels hydrated and soft, and I think this cream does a really good job. As a test pilot, I’ve had the opportunity to try a wonderful eye cream for a few weeks. The Ordinary is a brand I really like. My dry, oily skin has already improved. Moisturizing and lovely eye cream
My first impression of The Ordinary Lacto-PDRN 4% Eye Cream was positive. I noticed that it has a richer texture than I usually go for, but I still think it works surprisingly well on my skin. The cream is a bit sticky upon application, but it absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves no sticky feeling afterward. I also don’t notice any particular scent, which I find positive for a product used near the eyes. The packaging is convenient, hygienic, and easy to use. I have oily skin and usually tend to be a bit cautious with richer products because I don’t want to feel too greasy or have a heavy feeling on my skin. Despite the richer texture, this eye cream works well for me, especially now during the colder months when the skin may need some extra hydration. What I’ve especially noticed is that the skin around my eyes feels soft and moisturized. It gives a pleasant feeling without feeling heavy and greasy after it has absorbed. I also think it’s good value, especially considering how well it works for my skin type. Completely okay eye cream – but no miracles for me 🤍
Writing this review as #lykotestpilot 💙 For a few weeks, I have been testing The Ordinary's new eye cream with vegan-produced PDRN through fermentation of probiotic bacteria – exciting! 🧠 ̈ : Simple design, completely okay, smooth hygienic applicator – exactly what I prefer in an eye cream 🤍 At first use, I wasn't prepared for it to sting a little! But it disappears after a few minutes. Light in texture at first (gel-cream), a bit thicker/sticky when working it out, but dries quickly – I actually experience a smoothing film feeling and a bit of radiance! ✨ ̊ ̈? ̈ ̈̈ (̈ .): • Should immediately tighten and firm • Give a visible lift to the eyelids • Visibly smooth lines and eyelids • Provide intense moisture • Compatible with other skincare & makeup • Give a glow 🧥: I think it lives up to immediately smoothing the skin a bit. But my hooded eyes haven't noticed any lift in the eyelids. I can't see that my fine lines have reduced over 3 weeks (except a little effect in the moment). I like the moisture and subtle glow it gives. Works especially well with makeup on top and hasn't rolled with my other products. Even though it contains shea butter, I don't find it too greasy. I also haven't noticed any extra acne around the eyes from it ++ 🧢 : 35+ with fine lines, a bit dark under the eyes but no puffiness. Combination skin that easily gets oily around the eyes + acne-prone. A bit sensitive. I tested the new The Ordinary Lacto-PDRN 4% + B9 Eye Cream for a week, and here are my first impressions!
I especially like this texture. It’s both soft and firm at the same time, and the cream doesn’t immediately slide around when applied. It feels like the cream stays exactly where I put it, which makes it really easy to apply. After a week of use, I’ve noticed that the eye area looks brighter, a bit smoother, and the dark circles also appear a little lighter. Of course, I can’t say this is the final result after just one week, but the first impressions are very promising. The texture contains Lacto-PDRN, which is The Ordinary’s vegan alternative to salmon-derived PDRN. Also, PDRN is currently one of the trendiest ingredients in the skincare world, so it was especially interesting to try The Ordinary’s version of it. This is also The Ordinary’s first eye cream, so I had quite high expectations. Right now, I’d say my favorite things are definitely the texture and the immediate brightness in the eye area. Moisturizing but nothing more
I have gladly had the chance to test this eye cream for a few weeks. The packaging is convenient and takes up minimal space in the makeup bag. The eye cream has a thick consistency that also absorbs quickly into the skin. It keeps the area moisturized all day and works well under makeup. Personally, I find it a bit too rich in texture since richer creams don’t suit my skin. I also don’t think it reduces fine lines as it claims to. On the other hand, I don’t have very deep lines. We had a nice week together…
Had the honor to try this eye cream from The Ordinary as a test pilot and was really excited about the task! Let's start with the positive. I already like The Ordinary's products and think this eye cream feels very affordable. The packaging is handy, it's easy to use and apply, and I was actually pleasantly surprised by the texture. The formula is a bit thicker and richer than the eye cream I usually use, which I appreciate now that it's starting to get colder outside. In summer, I prefer a light gel, but during fall and winter I easily get dry around my eyes and like to have something a bit richer. The first week everything felt great, but then unfortunately came the downside – my eyes started to itch and water, and the area around my eyes swelled up. Therefore, I had to stop using the cream and haven't been able to test it long enough to comment on the long-term results. So unfortunately, it didn't work for me. If you know you have sensitive eyes, I would be cautious, although of course that doesn't mean others will react the same way.676 views
