    Great product!

I had the chance to test the Lumene Blur Even Cover Foundation via Lyko Influtesters and I am actually very satisfied! It has really good coverage but still feels light on the skin and looks natural. They have many different shades, and I found it easy to find one that suited me well. The finish is nice, the skin looks even and fresh, I can experience that you get a bit shiny during the day. I have super acne-prone skin and as you can see, I have a big breakout now that I would like to cover over, I thought this product did a good job covering over! So far, I haven't thought that it has given me new pimples, which is always good! It is easy to apply and blend with a brush, and it is easy to build up more coverage where needed. It is definitely a plus that it contains niacinamide, getting a little extra skincare in makeup is always fun! The only thing that makes it not get a full score is that it can feel a bit dry on drier areas if you don't moisturize properly beforehand. I also think that for the price point, it could have a nicer packaging! Otherwise, I am satisfied and would absolutely recommend! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #LUMENE

    Shade 1.75 (N)

I’m sorry but I hate this😭 I tried everything to get this to work! With primer and without, with different moisturizers and products, and with all of them I always have the same problem: The foundation moves and doesn’t stick. At first, this foundation seemed quite good, a light coverage consistency that gives a velvety finish. Sounds good to me. I also liked this bottle, I can imagine that you can squeeze out the last drops when the time comes. The shade was darker than expected, but on the face, the color difference thankfully wasn’t as radical as in the example video. I could have definitely chosen a lighter shade. When applying the foundation, you can already notice how the base doesn’t adhere to the face but moves and brings out everything that you just covered well. Also, no other makeup product on top seemed to stay in place. Even powder didn’t seem to have any effect. All impurities/acne scars shine through, and the makeup looks messy and cheap. If a collar or something touches the face, all the makeup has wiped off that area. Also, the oiliness of the face was maximal even though this cream was supposed to control it😮 By the end of the day, the foundation had also settled into the lines and around the nose. I would be interested to hear what products others have used to make this look good because I literally ran out of options on the shelf as I really tried everything to get this to work😩 #lykoinflutester #lumene

I suggest another application, check the sponge because something is clearly wrong with this brush.

    Which shade?

Hi, I have Light in Lumene's CC and have also used shade 1N in L'Oreal's true match foundation. Which shade could work best in this? 😊

Blur 16h Longwear 🔸️VS🔸️ Blur Even Cover

When I saw that Lumene had released a new Blur Even Cover foundation, I immediately became very interested, so I bought it a couple of weeks ago. I love their older Blur 16h longwear foundation, and it has been a big favorite for me over the last year. When I compared these two foundations, I initially thought they were quite similar, but the more I used the new one, the more I realized that they differ quite a bit! They are both very good, but in slightly different ways. I think foundation as a product is something very exciting, so this could get long 😂 Bare with me... 🔸️COVERAGE🔸️ is quite high on both foundations. Lumene rates it as 4 on a five-point scale for both, and I agree with this. Covers well, but without feeling thick or cakey! Personally, I have a lot of old acne scars and similar that I want to cover on my face, so I always use a layer of liquid foundation and then a thin layer of mineral foundation (from Swedish Tikei - it’s THE BEST) on top for a little extra coverage and longevity. I have oily skin, and I have found that this is the absolute best way for me to apply a base that lasts throughout the day. As for 🔸️THE FINISH🔸️, these foundations differ! While the older 16h Longwear uses "blur technology" and leans a bit more towards the matte side, this new Even Cover is more towards the dewy side (but without any form of glitter or shimmer). BUT both have a natural finish, just in slightly different ways. So I’m going into detail here 😂 Even Cover is also a bit more fluid in consistency and takes a bit longer to dry down. Since Even Cover is glossier in texture than 16h Longwear, I unfortunately find that 🔸️LONGEVITY🔸️ is a bit worse. It’s obvious that a more matte product will sit better on oily skin than a glossier product can do. So what I’ve noticed is that my oiliness becomes more visible faster with this new foundation Even Cover. That’s also why the older 16h Longwear stands out as the winner for me in this duel. However, I appreciate the slightly glowy finish that you get from Even Cover, looks very nice but holds worse throughout the day. I think both of these foundations are really nice. They are thin and lovely but still with high coverage, just in a natural way. Lumene has done well with these. I’m very happy to own both, and I give them both ☆☆☆☆☆, but if I can only choose one, it will be Blur 16h Longwear. This is from an oily girl’s perspective, which should be kept in mind 💛 PS! I have shade 0.5, which is supposed to be a cool shade (though I think it’s quite neutral), and it’s also the one I swatched in the pictures. It doesn’t oxidize at all (so it doesn’t darken when it dries) and I think how the color looks in real life matches quite well with Lumene’s pictures of it. DS. #lykoreview #lumene #foundation

    Shades

If you have the shade medium in Lumene CC, which shade corresponds to it in this product?

Hey there Sofie! 👋 So fun that you checked this out 😍 Since you use the shade "medium" in their cc-cream, I would recommend number 2 from this series 👇 lyko.com/sv/lumene/lumene-blur-even-cover-foundation-2-30-ml Number 3 could also work, but is a bit warmer in tone 👇 Hope you find one that fits well!

    My favorite

I have acne-prone and oily skin, so finding a good foundation has often been a challenge. However, this foundation is definitely my favorite at the moment. I especially like its consistency – it applies easily and feels light on the skin, even though it covers really well. The foundation evens out the skin tone and effectively covers redness as well as blemishes. On my oily skin, many foundations start to shine quickly, but this one surprisingly stays in place well throughout the day. The result looks natural and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. All in all, this has been a really effective product for me: good coverage, pleasant consistency, and good longevity. I especially recommend it for those with acne-prone skin who want a natural yet covering finish!

    AMAZING

So first of all wow what a product!! I’ve always been so skeptical about new foundations because I’ve used Lumene’s CC cream for several years and it’s a product that always finds its way into my makeup bag 💖 but… I also fell in love with this one!! It’s incredibly lightweight, I hate thick foundations that you can feel on your face. This is just the right amount of coverage for my taste and still really natural 🫶🏼 And best of all, it stayed looking so good all day that I didn’t need to touch up at all 🤍 Besides the foundation, I always have Lumene’s concealer in use too, perfect match together! I’m really fair and often foundations are just the wrong shades for me, there are several brands I can’t buy because of the shade range, but Lumene’s shade 00 is perfect for me 🤍 The best part is that there are several shades so there’s definitely one for everyone! 🤩 I also tested shade 0 but it was the wrong shade! My very first makeup products have been from Lumene and since then I’ve always used Lumene products, both in skincare and makeup! ✨ Thank you Lyko for letting me test this, it will definitely be part of my makeup routine 🫶🏼 #lykoinflutester #lumene

    Is this water-based?

Do the shades match those in Lumene blur?

Hi Jonna, Thank you for your question 🥰 This foundation is water-based, and the shades should match quite well with the shades of Lumene's blur foundation. Hope this was helpful! 💕

    New favorite!

My go-to has been Lumene's CC cream for many years now, so I was mildly ecstatic to try this foundation with a bit more coverage! ✨ I think it has an incredibly nice coverage, a bit more than the CC cream, but still not too heavy. It also blends beautifully on the skin! I picked a shade that is a bit too dark for me right now (winter pale☃️), but this will be perfect for me after a round of self-tan or closer to spring! The product is very easy to distribute and get even, with a brush it’s really a breeze! The skin tone evens out and I get a nice glow. It doesn’t interfere with my skincare routine either. New favorite for me 😍 The only downside for me is the packaging. The tube is impractical, and when it starts to run out, I can imagine losing a lot of product inside the hard packaging. I always cut open my CC cream to use every drop, so I would appreciate a similar packaging for this one too 🥹 #lykoinflutester #lumene

    Great product!

I've tested this foundation a few times now, and I'm positively surprised! I've tried applying it with both a brush and a beautyblender, but I probably prefer the beautyblender💓 I have combination skin, which is a bit extra dry in some places now in winter. With application using a brush, I felt that the foundation highlighted the dry areas. I would say the coverage is quite high when applied with a brush, but it can also be built up with a sponge! I've tried a color that was supposed to be neutral, but I think the foundation looked a bit yellow on my hand... But after application and blending, I don't think the result turned out as yellow as I feared💓 The longevity is very good! It hasn't reacted or peeled with my skincare or any of my powders💓 #lykoinflutester #lumene

    Nice ✨

A good foundation. It gave me coverage, held up pretty well throughout the day & didn’t “cake” on me. Can be a bit drier in certain areas now during winter, and it “highlighted” this foundation. But I moisturized a bit extra, so it worked fine. Got a bit shiny, but that often happens when I use foundations with high coverage. Worked best to apply first on my hand and then with a “makeup sponge” on my face. What I like about the product 👇🏼 - affordable - high coverage - can be built up in the way you want - didn’t cake - didn’t crumble on the skin What I don’t like 👇🏼 - got shiny throughout the day - it contains Niacinamide which my skin doesn’t like That’s why it gets 4 out of 5 🌟 from me #LYKOINFLUTESTER #LUMENE

Blurring and covering, but not dry skin friendly

I received this LUMENE Blur Even Cover foundation for testing from Lyko and chose the shade 1.75 ✨ I am 37 years old, so my skin is already aging, and I especially have sometimes even atopic dry skin in winter. I generally prefer light and moisturizing foundations. Skincare is the most important step in makeup, so I moisturized my skin before the test and let the skincare absorb properly. 💧 I like to apply foundation with a makeup sponge. However, for the test, I first applied the cream with a brush, and my intention was to even it out with the sponge afterwards, but after application, I found that the foundation didn't need it. At first, I was afraid that the shade I chose was too light, but the foundation oxidized a bit on my face, and in the end, it felt maybe even a tad too dark. With concealer and in summer, the updated shade will definitely work for me. I didn't use concealer or other base products now, so I can see how the foundation looks and behaves on its own. Normally, I powder my skin after creamy products, but this one feels dry enough and also durable enough that I don't feel the need for powder. I do have a dry skin type, and unfortunately, the foundation clung a bit to dry patches (I don't know if I captured that in the pictures). ☹️ Additionally, the foundation initially sat "on top" of the skin, but after a while, it actually looks really beautiful! The foundation, as the name suggests, blurs the skin and nicely evens out, for example, the redness of a pimple on the forehead. I forgot to put another pimple patch on my chin, but that was also tested - the foundation adhered well to it. 😄 The skin feels like it has makeup on, but not in any heavy way. Somehow, the foundation manages to be very skin-like despite its coverage, so it doesn't look heavy or cakey in my opinion. 👍🏼 This foundation will definitely be my go-to product for summer parties where I want more coverage and long-lasting wear. 🌞 We with dry skin just need to do good skincare underneath, and it certainly won't hurt to throw a hydrating makeup setting spray in the bag. 😉 #lykoinflutester #lumene
