One of the best I've tried!
Totally magical concealer, I really have nothing to complain about! I use the shade 2W, which fits me perfectly in both tone and undertone. It has an incredibly nice coverage without feeling heavy, and it lays so beautifully under the eyes. It melts into the skin and gives an even, fresh result right away😍👏🏼 I was actually a bit scared of the large applicator at first, I thought it would feel clunky and hard to work with. But now? I love it! You can reach everywhere in one single swipe, and the application is both quick and smooth. The coverage is perfect in my opinion, it hides what I want to hide but still looks natural. And the longevity? It stays all day without cracking, settling weirdly, or disappearing✨ There’s really nothing to complain about. Or well… you always want everything to have a slightly friendlier price tag. Not a favorite
I tried Estée Lauder's Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer in the shade 2N🥥 I have quite neutral undertones, and I struggle a bit with fine lines and blue tones under my eyes💙 Normally, I don't use concealer, as I haven't found one that gives me the natural result I want🥺 First of all, I want to mention that I was very unsure about the color I should choose, and I realize that I picked a shade that is too dark🥺 Therefore, I won't let this affect my assessment of the product. The product comes in a sleek and exclusive packaging, and the container for the product is also nice. You apply products with an applicator that is quite large, but a soft and triangular cushion for application. This makes it easy to apply the desired amount of product with good precision🙌🏼 Unfortunately, I didn't find that the product gave me the desired result, as it sat very unnaturally on my skin. The product was quite dry in consistency, and I therefore tried not to apply too much product. It also emphasized my fine lines and gave quite an orange and blue color under my eyes🥺 I haven't used the product for a longer time, so unfortunately I don't know how it performs throughout the day. Overall, I unfortunately didn't find that the product gives me the desired result, but I don't know if it has to do with my skin type. Super good durability!
The first impression is good durability, but you need to be a bit quick with the application as it dries down quickly. I think it reminds me of Mac's concealer Studio Fix in the formula, which has similar properties. I’m generally not a concealer fan, as I usually think that a full-coverage foundation covers sufficiently, also under the eyes, where I usually use as little product as possible since it (at least for me) just tends to emphasize fine lines in the thin skin under the eyes and makes me look both older and more tired 🙈 I’ve tried all the tips and tricks I could find, and tested different concealers, but still am not satisfied with the result of concealer under the eyes. That said, I of course tested with concealer under the eyes with this one anyway, and I think it’s probably more beneficial to use a concealer that is more moisturizing under the eyes than what this one is, and that doesn’t "dry" in the same way. That it sets and "dries" is great when it comes to other areas of the face, but not just on the thin skin under the eyes! Coverage but natural finish
✨ I have as #lykoinflutester tested the Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer from #esteelauder in the shade 2N! ✨ I found the shade to be a bit darker and yellower than I expected, as I didn't see any pictures when I chose the color, but it will surely match great for spring. I am neutral to slightly warm when I am pale, It still blends nicely into my skin tone and works well both under the eyes and on imperfections. The formula is on the thicker and drier side, but not as dry as the foundation in the same series. It feels pigmented and compact, and it is really very economical. Small dabs are enough for a medium-high coverage! I think it is impressively covering without looking heavy or cakey on the skin. It blends out very seamlessly and melts into the base without leaving sharp edges. The result is even and smooth without it being obvious that you have concealer on. The wear is also really good and stays where it should throughout the day without losing coverage. I only have a little loose powder over where my concealer usually creases. In summary, this is a covering and long-lasting concealer that lasts a long time and gives a natural result despite its higher coverage. Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer Shade: 1C
As #lykoinflutester I got to try this concealer from #esteelauder. 🤑 I have nothing negative to say! With other concealers I've tried, it often gets cakey under the eyes, but not with this one. 🌵 I think it has a slightly thicker consistency but it's still easy to blend out and it has good coverage. Medium coverage concealer for everyday use🤍
The Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer has a creamy texture that is easy to build from medium to full coverage without feeling cakey. It is very pigmented and does not settle into fine lines in the same way that many other concealers I have tried do. The creamy formula makes it blend nicely under the eyes without drying out the skin. I would personally have chosen a slightly darker shade to better match my skin tone, as the one I tested was a bit too light for my taste. However, if you have a darker concealer, it mixes really well. Aside from the color choice, I am very satisfied with both the formula and the result. 🤎 My skin tone is neutral with dark under-eyes. The shade I use is 2N, and it works well, it covers dark blue areas nicely. However, for me personally, it's slightly on the lighter side. I could probably go one shade darker so it blends better with the darker tone under my eyes. 🤎 I would say this concealer has a good coverage. It's not very hydrating, but it also doesn't dry out the skin. However, if your skin is already dry, that dryness will be noticeable once you apply the concealer, especially under the eyes 🤎 It doesn't crease as much, but as said, it can emphasize dryness if you don't properly hydrate your under-eye 🤎 The packaging is very elegant, and you get a generous amount of product. Also, so many different shades to choose! 🤎 The applicator is a bit larger than usual for a concealer, but it's still precise and easy to use. Lovely lightweight, yet covering! I had the lightest shade .0N and it beautifully brightened my under-eye area without making the delicate skin under my eyes too heavy. The concealer also didn’t settle into fine lines but stays beautifully in place all day. Long-lasting and finished result all day. This is staying in my routine! Plus for the wide range of shades. The price is also in line with other selective/luxury cosmetic concealers, so I see nothing to complain about. Really good value for money in my opinion and a concealer I would recommend especially for those 30+. Good - but is it worth the price?
I'm back, and this time you get to see my review of the Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer from #esteelauder. This concealer is described to provide long-lasting coverage, oil control, and hydration.🥰 My first impression was that the packaging was very nice; simple and sleek, but also looks luxurious (which the brand is anyway). 😌 Then when I read about the product, I learned how well thought-out the stick - design was to adapt to the different functions that a concealer stick can have - which I thought was very fun 🤗 I have a combination skin type that is mostly oily, but a bit drier in areas like under the eyes and around the nose. My skin is also acne-prone. 🫣 I chose shade 1C because I have a light and cool skin tone, but despite that, I found the concealer to be a bit yellow on me, which I don't expect when I choose a shade that is supposed to have a cool undertone. 🤔 The concealer was easy to apply with the stick and had very good coverage. Since it is a matte concealer, it is a bit on the drier side, and I found it easier to blend out with my fingers than with a brush. As promised, the product had good oil control for the oily areas of my skin, but it settled a bit in the lines under my eyes and became a bit too dry around my nose (which most concealers do for me🥲). Estee Lauder vs Charlotte Tilbury
I have been using this daily since I received it to test it properly. Color: 2N I love the wide applicator, it fits perfectly under the eye 🤝 However, it is a bit stiff and not very flexible. I have some dark circles and a somewhat dry eye area with fine lines. A moisturizing concealer settles into the lines, while a dry one emphasizes them and goes on cakey. Usually, I use Natasha Denona and am also satisfied with Lancôme. This concealer sets quickly, so you should work fast, or with one eye at a time. Don’t let it sit or apply it to too many places before you start blending. I prefer to use my fingers, and might go over with a sponge. The formula is a bit thicker and drier than I’m used to, and it doesn’t blend as seamlessly, which brings it down a bit. The coverage is very good without feeling heavy. I am still a bit cautious about building it up too much, for fear that it might cake. In the first video, you can see the difference with and without concealer, and it’s quite significant 🤭 I also tested it against Natasha Denona, one under each eye. The result was surprisingly similar in terms of coverage and finish. However, this one feels drier, and I notice throughout the day that the area feels somewhat drier where it’s applied. You can also see that it’s a bit drier. At the end of the video, you can see how they held up throughout the day. You don’t see the differences as clearly on video as you do in real life. After using it over time, the impression remains the same: It is a bit drier in both feel and finish. It’s not a big problem, I have used it daily after all, but it does mean that it doesn’t quite measure up to my other favorites. Holds up well
This concealer really delivers!😍 The concealer can be built up from medium to full coverage and hides imperfections while brightening the skin with minimal product. This will last a long time before it runs out. The finish is matte but without looking dry, and it stays that way all day. I especially like the large applicator; it makes application quick and easy. Good, but not special
This is definitely a good concealer. ✨ They deserve credit for being very light in tone, which I appreciate. The colors, undertones, and so on are nice for someone who is neutral in skin tone and finds it hard to find products that aren't too warm or pink. I am very satisfied with the coverage ability, and I think it's easy to blend out both with a sponge and brush 💕 Still, there's nothing shockingly good about it. As a student, I probably wouldn't have bought it, as I have cheaper alternatives that do the same. 😅 The packaging is perhaps one of my favorites with the product, and I really like the applicator that comes with it. It's sturdy and large, but with a sharp end to get into nooks and crannies 😊 It can crease a bit if you're not quick to powder afterward, and I probably wouldn't use this without some form of powder 💄 The consistency is maybe a bit thicker than I usually go for, but also very creamy and soft 🌸 All in all, a good concealer if you have the money and want a more luxurious experience ✨ #lykoinflutester #esteelauder1 product in post Good, but not special
