Love the SPF, not the shade range
This is a nude BB cream that has SPF50 (don't know if it has UVA protection). Not very pigmented. Dried down quite quickly and felt comfortable on the skin. It didn't have the typical sunscreen smell these products sometimes have. The shade range could be better, so only 4 stars. It's an ok product if you want something with SPF and a hint of color. Also quite an affordable price! The video has swatches of shades 20, 30 and 40 in artificial light. (No other shades were available. Maybelline BB Cream SPF50 x Smartson
Tested for a few weeks in different ways. Shade 30 looks more yellow at first but fits okay for my neutral light facial skin, maybe a shade darker 🌞. Skin type: combination and surface dry that can get a bit shinier towards the end of the day. Usually use separate SPF and CC Cream from Lumene which I like. This BB Cream feels like a moisturizing hybrid of skincare, SPF, and foundation. Rich texture, easy to blend, but doesn’t fully cover what I wish. The finish is nicely dewy but feels sticky – doesn’t fully dry. With powder it gets cakey in some areas, without powder the coverage melts away after a few hours. Scent: No perfume listed in the ingredients, but I still experience a stronger scent (unfortunately in a stinging way), something in the product irritates my eyes/nose a bit. Nice finish mainly on the cheeks, but hard to use as SPF for me over the whole face. Perfect everyday base with a fresh finish and also with SPF50
I have had the wonderful opportunity to test Maybelline Fit Me Nude BB Cream SPF50 in the shade 20, and overall I am very pleased with the result. This product gives the skin a nice, natural glow that makes the face look fresh and even, without becoming too shiny. Formula and application Something I really appreciate about this product is how light the formula feels on the skin. It almost feels like you’re not wearing any base at all, which makes it extra comfortable to use daily. The product is very easy to apply and melts nicely into the skin, giving an even and natural result without feeling cakey. Coverage The coverage is relatively light, which makes it best suited for days when you want more of a “no makeup” feel rather than a fully covered base. That’s why it works perfectly as a quick and simple everyday product. The fact that it also contains SPF50 is a big plus and makes it a practical choice for daily use, especially when you want to combine light makeup with sun protection. I haven’t tried it myself, but if you want more coverage than the product gives with one application, I definitely think it’s possible to build it up a bit “layer by layer.” In summary, this is truly a product that is comfortable and easy to use, while also managing to deliver a fresh and natural result, which is ideal for a simple and protective everyday routine. Smells nice and has moderate coverage. It took some time to dry completely, so you shouldn’t be in too much of a hurry. Easy to work with
I had the color 30 and at first it felt like it was too dark and then too light. But after a while, I noticed that it settled nicely on the skin and blended with my skin tone. Got blisters.
I have sensitive skin and usually use Il Makiage or Caia foundation without any reaction. Used this one for a day and got blisters/rash within a few hours. Now 2 weeks later they are still there. I got to try the Maybelline Fit Me BB Cream SPF50 in shade 10, and it was a perfect match! I have a fairly light skin tone with redness on my cheeks and very dry, sensitive skin... So I was a bit unsure if it would work for me, but it definitely did! When I want to wear a bit more makeup than usual, I prep my skin with face cream and apply two layers to add as much moisture as possible. So this might be a tip if you have dry skin like me! The product is very economical, so you don’t need much to cover the whole face. It’s easy to apply, and I find that it covers my redness and is very gentle on the skin. Plus, having SPF 50 is just a big bonus! It also lasts surprisingly well! I really love this product and can absolutely recommend it to others! Natural Glow
Tried shade 10 and for my very fair skin it fit okay. It got a little bit dark on the neck but absolutely no obvious line. It gives a natural look with a nice radiance. Definitely buildable if you want more coverage. Holds up okay during the day but I think it oxidizes and gets a bit "yellower" towards the afternoon. It sits well on the skin and I, who usually have to use a sponge or brush around lunch to get rid of lines under the eyes, didn’t need to with this one.
