Old faithful friend for my abused hair!
💖 I got the product for free as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I got to test a series of skincare products from #REDKEN, whose products from different lines have contributed for many years to saving my heavily bleached hair. Acidic Bonding Shampoo is therefore not a new acquaintance for me, but a product I have used before and still use. I can't say if the shampoo does anything so fantastically better, but the crucial thing is that the shampoo really doesn't do anything worse. It cleans so well without causing any extra wear on the hair, which feels strengthened and soft. I'm never afraid that hair strands will break, not even right after a session with my 40 vol developer. Sometimes I slack off and just use shampoo and maybe conditioner, and at those times I always use Acidic Bonding, as it makes my hair feel and look good without a bunch of extra caring products. However, I can't use it more than once a week, otherwise my hair gets a bit heavy, but that's to be expected with both panthenol and dimethicone (which care, protect, and are good for most hair and have been demonized on incorrect/overdue grounds 🤔) high up in the ingredient list. Once I finally learned how often my hair needs the shampoo, the negative effect disappeared immediately. The shampoo lathers a lot with a little product, and doesn't dry out either my hair or my sensitive, often slightly red scalp. The scent is neutral/unisex and mild, and I find that it completely washes out during rinsing. The packaging is practical and designed to be stood up and down when the product starts to run out. The colors are a hit or miss, but I love both colorful and white and sleek, so I think this grayish minimalist design is super pretty. ⭐️ After both several years of use and this testing period, I can still warmly recommend Acidic Bonding shampoo to those with very damaged hair that doesn't get weighed down too easily. However, if you have extremely thin, fine, and flat hair, you should use it in moderation, or look for another product. But for me, this shampoo is perfect, and I will continue to buy it as long as I bleach my hair 🥰 - Most helpful negativeThe user's roll: Lyko Creator. Shamefully bad
Shamefully bad I have thin bleached, fine hair that can easily feel and seem heavy. I also have thin hair strands, which makes it difficult to find a product that provides moisture but doesn't make it greasy. This is mild to say a disaster for my hair. After shampooing, my hair felt sticky, as if the product hadn't been rinsed out well enough, but it had. (girl, I promise...) The consistency is somewhat on the thicker side, with a luxurious scent that can feel heavy for many. On the first shampoo, it doesn't lather at all, (quite normal, as product residues are present) on the second it lathers very well, and the foam becomes thick and well distributed. I use about 1-2 teaspoons on my shoulder-length hair. After one day, my hair was so greasy that you would think I was back in puberty, only worse. It was shocking what had happened, I thought this was a coincidence, but it happened again the following day. Even dry shampoo gave up on my hair... After 1 week, I lost all hope and then gave the product to a friend. On her side, it was "fantastic!". The bottle is handy, as you can utilize 99% of all content by simply turning it upside down when you get close to the end. It comes with a flip-top lid, which is practical. Good to take with you on trips, as the bottle holds 300ml. Somewhat expensive shampoo, especially if you feel a bit "duped" if it crashes for you and your hair, on the other hand, I am glad I had the opportunity to test this for free :) This will probably suit you if you have a dry scalp, as well as bleached and chemically damaged/dry hair. Maybe it's gold for you! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #REDKEN #review2727 views- The user's roll: Employees at Lyko. The comment was made 1 yearsHey Dina Thank you so much for a super and honest feedback! It's nice to hear about different experiences with a product, and it seems like you got something that wasn't a match for your hair. Glad you could pass it on, and that your friend liked it Wishing you a lovely pre-Christmas season 🎄1 likes

This one is good..
Have been using it for a while. Notice that the hair 'tolerates' a bit more. The only thing is that with conditioner from the same series, the hair feels greasy. So using this series every other time will probably be better. Also smells good.16 views - The post was made 21 hoursRating: 5 out of 5
Acidic Bonding Concentration
I have tested the Acidic Bonding Concentration Duo for colored hair through Smartson, and I am really positively surprised! My hair is treated and can quickly become both dry and damaged, but after using these products it feels much stronger and more resilient. I especially notice that the hair is smoother, less frizzy, and much easier to comb through. What I like best is how much more shine the hair has gained – the color looks fresher, almost like right after a visit to the hairdresser. Additionally, the hair feels soft without becoming heavy or greasy, which can often be a problem with care products. Plus, the products smell good and give a real “salon feeling” at home! All in all, a product I will definitely continue to use 💛 The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product free of charge.15 views - The post was made 23 hoursRating: 4 out of 5
Very good
The product truly lives up to expectations and gives the hair a noticeable lift both in appearance and feel. Already after a short time of use, the hair feels healthier, softer, and significantly more shiny. It provides a fresh and well-groomed finish without weighing down, and the result lasts throughout the day. Additionally, the product has a lovely scent that makes the whole experience extra luxurious. Definitely a product I warmly recommend to others who want more shine and life in their hair. Satisfied after use
Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo made my hair much softer and healthier after just a few washes. The hair felt cleaner without becoming dry, and I noticed less damage and frizz. It also smells very good and feels luxurious to use. It deserves 4 stars8 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 3 out of 5
Good!
The shampoo is a bit thicker in consistency, it feels full and rich. Still, I find it easy to distribute in the hair and rinse out. I always use shampoo twice, and the second time it foamed much more. The scent is fresh and somewhat fruity. The hair gets clean and falls nicely (I have straight and fine hair, normal scalp). I'm a bit skeptical about the advice to go out in sunlight afterward, but I haven't noticed any difference compared to other shampoos. The hair stays nice for quite a while, but towards the evening it feels flatter and greasier near the scalp. The lengths look and feel best strengthened. All in all, a good shampoo, but my hair needs to be washed daily with this. Very good for damaged hair
I have naturally curly hair, but I straighten it quite often, and that dries it out a lot. After a few washes with this shampoo, my hair started to look smoother and softer. I liked that it didn’t dry it out and gave it shine. After using the straightener, my hair held up better and looked healthier. The only downside for me is that if I use more, my hair gets a bit greasy faster. However, I would use it again because the effect on damaged ends is very good.5 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 3 out of 5
Good shampoo
After testing this shampoo for a few weeks now, the conclusion is that it is a good product that cleans and provides moisture to treated hair. Together with the conditioner and aftercare, it makes the hair shiny and with significantly less frizz. The downside for me is the consistency. It feels very thick, and it takes some time to work it into the hair. The scent is also quite okay, but nothing more than that. Smartson tester
I have been allowed to test some products from this hair care series by Redken. I really like a bit more crazy hair colors and therefore usually bleach my hair quite a bit to make these colors show up much better and last longer. My hair is thus quite damaged from these treatments. This Acidic Bonding series is made precisely for this. My hair is very typically Nordic, extremely thin fine strands and tends to get oily easily. I am satisfied with the shampoo in this series, it’s not the first time I’ve tested it but I notice they have made changes to the formula since last time. It is thick in consistency and emulsifies easily in the hands before applying to the scalp. It doesn’t take much product to get it to lather well, and it cleans well without causing more wear on the hair. The hair feels a bit tired after use but not so much that it becomes uncomfortable. Smells really good. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product free of charge.12 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 5 out of 5
Very satisfied!
#Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo ✨️ This shampoo gives an incredibly luxurious first impression! The first thing I noticed is the fresh and pleasant scent that gives a real spa feeling in the shower. I always prefer fresh, clean scents over heavy and sweet ones. The consistency is rich, and it feels very gentle on the scalp. Even though I currently have some extensions for volume, I notice that my own hair strands peeking through feel clean and soft without becoming dry. This feels like the right care my hair needs now after highlighting treatments. I also notice much less frizz and more shine and moisture. Looking forward to using this regularly!
