Old faithful friend for my abused hair!
💖 I got the product for free as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I got to test a series of skincare products from #REDKEN, whose products from different lines have contributed for many years to saving my heavily bleached hair. Acidic Bonding Shampoo is therefore not a new acquaintance for me, but a product I have used before and still use. I can't say if the shampoo does anything so fantastically better, but the crucial thing is that the shampoo really doesn't do anything worse. It cleans so well without causing any extra wear on the hair, which feels strengthened and soft. I'm never afraid that hair strands will break, not even right after a session with my 40 vol developer. Sometimes I slack off and just use shampoo and maybe conditioner, and at those times I always use Acidic Bonding, as it makes my hair feel and look good without a bunch of extra caring products. However, I can't use it more than once a week, otherwise my hair gets a bit heavy, but that's to be expected with both panthenol and dimethicone (which care, protect, and are good for most hair and have been demonized on incorrect/overdue grounds 🤔) high up in the ingredient list. Once I finally learned how often my hair needs the shampoo, the negative effect disappeared immediately. The shampoo lathers a lot with a little product, and doesn't dry out either my hair or my sensitive, often slightly red scalp. The scent is neutral/unisex and mild, and I find that it completely washes out during rinsing. The packaging is practical and designed to be stood up and down when the product starts to run out. The colors are a hit or miss, but I love both colorful and white and sleek, so I think this grayish minimalist design is super pretty. ⭐️ After both several years of use and this testing period, I can still warmly recommend Acidic Bonding shampoo to those with very damaged hair that doesn't get weighed down too easily. However, if you have extremely thin, fine, and flat hair, you should use it in moderation, or look for another product. But for me, this shampoo is perfect, and I will continue to buy it as long as I bleach my hair 🥰 - Most helpful negativeThe user's roll: Lyko Creator. Shamefully bad
Shamefully bad I have thin bleached, fine hair that can easily feel and seem heavy. I also have thin hair strands, which makes it difficult to find a product that provides moisture but doesn't make it greasy. This is mild to say a disaster for my hair. After shampooing, my hair felt sticky, as if the product hadn't been rinsed out well enough, but it had. (girl, I promise...) The consistency is somewhat on the thicker side, with a luxurious scent that can feel heavy for many. On the first shampoo, it doesn't lather at all, (quite normal, as product residues are present) on the second it lathers very well, and the foam becomes thick and well distributed. I use about 1-2 teaspoons on my shoulder-length hair. After one day, my hair was so greasy that you would think I was back in puberty, only worse. It was shocking what had happened, I thought this was a coincidence, but it happened again the following day. Even dry shampoo gave up on my hair... After 1 week, I lost all hope and then gave the product to a friend. On her side, it was "fantastic!". The bottle is handy, as you can utilize 99% of all content by simply turning it upside down when you get close to the end. It comes with a flip-top lid, which is practical. Good to take with you on trips, as the bottle holds 300ml. Somewhat expensive shampoo, especially if you feel a bit "duped" if it crashes for you and your hair, on the other hand, I am glad I had the opportunity to test this for free :) This will probably suit you if you have a dry scalp, as well as bleached and chemically damaged/dry hair. Maybe it's gold for you! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #REDKEN #review2653 views- The user's roll: Employees at Lyko. The comment was made 1 yearsHey Dina Thank you so much for a super and honest feedback! It's nice to hear about different experiences with a product, and it seems like you got something that wasn't a match for your hair. Glad you could pass it on, and that your friend liked it Wishing you a lovely pre-Christmas season 🎄1 likes

Works as it should
A good shampoo that cleans the hair as it should, but I haven't experienced it repairing the hair that much - only tested 4 times over a few weeks as a test person. Nice scent and texture, soft hair after washing, and no faded color (hair dye), which is a plus! However, I had hoped to experience stronger and less ‘fluffy’ hair. Smells good
I have tested Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo together with the matching conditioner and leave-in balm over the past few weeks. I have thin, straight, Scandinavian hair that easily gets frizzy. Damaged from coloring and bleaching with split ends that I cut way too rarely. My expectations before the test were high. The product smells good and gives a salon/spa feeling. It has a creamy consistency, lathers well, and feels economical. I have not noticed any improvement in my hair quality during the time I have tried the product (about 2.5 weeks). However, the hair feels very clean and fresh when freshly washed but feels dirty and greasy after a couple of days. + nice scent - the price The review was made on behalf of Smartson – I got to try the product for free.4 views - The post was made 1 hourRating: 2 out of 5
Cleans very deep but leaves the hair dry
I bleach my hair completely and then use toner. It happened that I did it on 15 march and on 27 I use the shampoo first time. I used it 2 weeks hoping my hair will get used to it but then I had to stop. Unfortunately, my hair didn't liked this shampoo. It definitely cleans extremely well but also leaves my hair extremely dry and not at all soft. It did protected my color, that's great! Soon when I started I got also dandruff. All in all, the shampoo makes my hair too dry and it breaks when I brush it, and it gives that pinching feeling when I brush it, it's not smooth. Can only recommend!
I love this shampoo! It makes my hair so shiny when used in combination with the conditioner, and it's just a plus that it smells really good. It also lathers easily and my hair feels wonderfully clean and doesn't get greasy quickly after using this. Acidic bonding concentrate shampoo
I have quite thin and fine Nordic hair with damage from bleached highlights. After trying the Acidic bonding series, I feel that my hair looks and feels fresher, but I have to minimize usage, meaning not to use it more than a maximum of 2 times a week. This is because it makes the hair heavy and it can feel a bit greasy. I therefore think this product is even better for those who also struggle with a dry scalp and perhaps even more damage than I have. The shampoo should be worked into the scalp and quickly gives a feeling of cleanliness and has a mild and pleasant scent. It is supposed to lather and it lathers easily, which means you need very little per wash. A bottle therefore lasts a long time, which is a plus when a bottle has a relatively high price. All in all, a good product if you use it correctly based on your hair and scalp, and they undoubtedly do the best job together, meaning using the series. Fresh scent & clean result!
I am super satisfied with this shampoo! I always double shampoo, and my hair really feels thoroughly clean without becoming dry. The scent is incredibly fresh and luxurious, and my hair feels immediately fresher and healthier after washing. I have typical Scandinavian hair with thin strands, and this shampoo works really well for me. It doesn’t weigh my hair down but instead gives a clean and fresh feeling with a nice shine. I will definitely continue to use it! The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester got to try the product for free.6 views - The post was made 2 hoursRating: 4 out of 5
Smells good
I have been testing this series for the past few weeks! I have shoulder-length, fine Scandinavian hair that I color regularly and often use heat on. After a bleaching last year, my hair has been quite dry and frizzy on and off. I have used the shampoo for 2-3 weeks and noticed already after the first wash that my hair felt softer and a bit “just right weight” in a good way ✨ It lathers very well even with a small amount, and I don’t feel that my hair becomes rough or tangled afterward, which is a big plus for me. The scent is fresh, with a bit of a “salon/vacation” vibe 🌿 I usually don’t buy more expensive shampoos, but I can definitely understand the hype and am actually considering buying it again. + Economical and lathers well + Hair feels softer immediately - Slightly higher price range The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the test pilot received the product for free.7 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. From colored and fragile to strengthened and shiny 🧡
Part 1: The shampoo – The foundation for repair 🧴 My colored hair has long been in a fragile state, which is clearly visible in my before picture. The shampoo from the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate series was the starting point for a noticeable change. It is extremely concentrated, so a small amount is enough to create a luxurious, creamy lather that smells fantastic. What I really like is how it balances the hair’s pH level. Instead of just cleansing, it feels like the hair becomes more compact and resilient already in the shower. It cleans effectively without drying out, which is crucial for hair that is already struggling with frizz and fragility. OK - the hair will probably get used to the shampoo
I have had the opportunity to test Redken's Acidic Bonding series for the past two weeks, where I used shampoo, conditioner, and a leave-in treatment. I have relatively fine hair with a tendency to frizz and dry, split ends. The shampoo smells lovely and has a good consistency. However, I find it very concentrated, so you need to be careful about how much shampoo you use. The shampoo has not made a positive difference in the two weeks I have tested it. My hair is soft and nice right after use, but unfortunately gets greasy very quickly. But it might be because my hair really needs to get used to the shampoo. Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo
I had quite high expectations for this shampoo, but unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to them. It lathers really well, is easy to distribute through the hair, and has a nice, creamy texture that feels lovely during washing. Unfortunately, the scent is way too strong and completely overpowers the experience – there’s really no reason for it to be so heavily perfumed. I also found that my hair became very dry after use, which is disappointing since it specifically promises to help with dry and damaged hair. For me, that really brought down the overall impression.
