✨ Glow in a jar! ✨
As a Lyko influencer tester, I got to try the Urban Decay Face Bond Waterproof Luminizer, but the funny thing is I actually already had this one! 😍💕 And maybe that’s the best sign of how much I love this product. I adore both, and this has become one of the products I keep coming back to when I want a nice and natural glow. ✨ What I like best is how versatile it is. You can use it as a highlighter on the high points of your face for extra glow, mix it into your foundation, or use it as a glowing base under your makeup. 😍 Personally, I love using it under my makeup to get that healthy glow that shines through without the skin looking glittery or oily. It simply gives a really nice finish! 💕 I also get a similar feeling as with Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, but at a friendlier price. ✨ The result is fresh, natural, and glowing skin that looks healthy all day long. ☀️Dries too fast☀️
Bronzer, highlight, and similar products aren’t really my thing, but as a #lykoinflutester you try everything, and of course you want more #urbandecay ❗️ Admit that something went wrong, I tried to find a light/neutral shade but didn’t find one among the options I got, but now I see from other users that it exists 🙈 Like the nice bottle where you have to squeeze a bit extra to get the product out, which is just the right consistency. 🌺 I find it fragrance-free - love that! Tried using hands, brush, etc. But it felt patchy no matter how I tried, it dries very quickly, so it was very hard to work with.. 😬 Even if we ignore that I didn’t find the right tone, I was determined to find a use - the solution is eyeshadow! 👀 (Ignore the rest of my makeup, incredibly tired) ☀️Summary☀️ ➕️ Stays put well ➖️ Dries too fast ➖️ Applies patchy ➖️ The price Maybe it works if you mix it with a moisturizing cream, in your foundation or similar? 🤷🏼♀️ But I really don’t have the energy to try all those variants when it leaves patches. 😬35 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Nice glow!
Won setting sprays and highlighters from U.D through one of Lyko’s beloved contests 🌟 The highlighter is nice but the bottle definitely needs to be shaken before use 🌪️ Gives a nice glow on selected areas. However, I mix it with my bb cream so I get a bronzy, brown glow all over my face ✨ Finished with Urban Decay’s ‘Glow Setting Spray’ for extra long-lasting wear 🧖♀️ + 😊 Easy to apply if used together with foundation/bb/cc cream. Blends nicely into the skin. - 🙁 That it’s hard to apply as just a highlighter if you already have a base on. Not as expected…
A product that raises high expectations for user-friendliness, but not this time.. After trying to use this as a highlighter countless times, I gave up. The product is GLITTERYYYY!!! Blends as easily as a stubborn three-year-old, and in the end, you take it for what it is; a disaster. I therefore gave it another try in body lotion. After 10-12 drops in a new bottle, I got a glowy body lotion that left a subtle glowy finish without going overboard. It was also tried in a setting spray with OK results. But here it must be shaken well before each use. (which is the case with most setting sprays anyway). Smells very little. Slightly coarse in texture (you can feel the glitter). Dries very quickly, making it difficult to blend in. The pictures are extremely misleading, which made the disappointment big. It will shed quite a bit, as the glitter particles are quite large. On the plus side, very easy to wash off, without the glitter sticking around! The bottle dispenses drops easily. Contains 30 ml which lasts a long time. The bottle has definitely taken inspiration from Lancome’s Skin Idole serum. Not quite convinced
I'm still trying this out, but I'm not quite convinced yet. It's supposed to be a multi-product and can be used alone as a highlighter, mixed into foundation, or as a base on the whole face for a nice glow. I don't think it's optimal for any of these purposes yet, but maybe I haven't "cracked the code". For me, it's way too glittery to use on the whole face – the particles are too big? It works fine as a highlighter, but beyond that, I'm still a bit skeptical. I've used Dior Show's liquid highlighter for this purpose before, and I have to say I still prefer it. The particles in that one are smaller and therefore give a more natural glow. Maybe it's just me not liking it being too glowy, but that's at least my experience so far. I'll test it a bit more this summer on more golden skin to see if that helps. A bit tricky to crack the code
I love a natural, lovely, and dewy finish, so my expectations for Urban Decay’s Face Bond Compact were initially high. The product is marketed as a versatile multi-product that can be used for "everything" – as a highlighter, mixed into face cream, or as a glowing base under makeup. Unfortunately, it has proven a bit tricky to fully figure out. Where I hoped for a healthy and moist glow, I unfortunately find this a bit too glittery for my taste. Used alone, I think the product is too sticky and difficult to blend nicely on the skin. It dries a bit too quickly and requires quite some work. To get a nice result with this, I think the trick is to mix it into moisturizer or foundation. However, I haven’t given up on it completely yet and will continue experimenting a bit with application. So lovely!
This is such a lovely product! I have tried using it in a few different ways: * highlighter * mixed into my day cream * primer But as a highlighter dabbed on with fingers was my favorite. It blends so nicely into the base. I will definitely try mixing it into some body lotion and applying it to my décolleté this summer. I think it can look so beautiful and summery! Otherwise, I think the packaging itself was so good, the lid prevents any mess or stickiness. It feels kind of luxurious. Overall a very nice product, it looks so natural and beautiful on the skin. A lovely highlighter ✨
As a Lyko influencer tester, I've had the chance to try Urban Decay Face Bond Compact Waterproof Luminizer All Day Glow in the shade half baked for a couple of weeks now! ☀️ I love glow, so I gladly use highlighter! I didn't have any in liquid form before, but I like this one! I've used it with a brush as the last step in my makeup or mixed it with face cream to get a glow all over the face. However, I took the darkest shade, which was a bit too dark for me, but I think it will work great this summer! My first impression was that the product was a bit too dark for me, but then I tried mixing it with face cream, which worked well! I really like it because you get such a beautiful glow, which I love! I thought it was a bit tricky to work with at first before I got the right technique. Now I put it on the back of my hand and then apply it with a brush on my face if I don't mix it with face cream 💁♀️ 🧴 A nice product with a beautiful glow! Extra points because it contains 3% niacinamide! Fantastic glow
I have the color Space Cowboy. A totally fantastic glow! Easy to get out of the packaging, doesn’t stick to the lid like many others, and I really like that it doesn’t come out so much at once. I tried to use it a bit as a highlighter on the face but thought it turned out less well. But on the body though!! Good product alone
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try the Urban Decay Face Bond Compact in the shade “space cowboy”💜 It gives a nice glow and looks natural. 🫶🏽✨ I’ve tried it under and with foundation, but then the makeup "peels" off, and I have to start over. Multi use!
I have been sooooo excited about this product, especially since it’s marketed as a multi-use product! The product description did a great job explaining all the possible ways to use it💛 In my makeup routine that day, I tested it both with foundation, as eyeshadow, and as a highlighter!💜💛 I think it gives a nice glow to the face together with the foundation, without being too glittery! I also noticed that the foundation stayed really well that day!💛 The product is waterproof and sweat-resistant, and I found that it didn’t smudge either! As eyeshadow, it’s very “subtle” and gives a little shimmer. Perfect for days when you don’t wear much makeup, or for a natural look to get a bit of shimmer✨ But I wouldn’t say it behaves the same way as an eyeshadow would, and it’s not as pigmented. For those who want a natural glow
Urban Decay Face Bond Compact gives a super nice, even glow that lasts all day without feeling heavy. The formula melts into the skin and provides a fresh, “healthy skin” finish that works both alone and on top of makeup. However, I wished for a bit more color and more pigment, as the result is more subtle than expected. Perfect if you want a natural glow but not as good if you’re looking for more coverage or a bronzed color.
