A small handy package that fits in the toiletry bag, smells WONDERFUL, thicker consistency, easy to lather and rinse off, lasts forever. 🧖🏻♀️ Usage (For reference, hair reaches mid-back, wavy (2B), gets frizzy easily) Used this 2-3 times a week for 3 weeks, very easy to lather and work into the hair. You actually need very little because the product is so concentrated. Finished with the conditioner from the same series. ✨ Result 3 weeks might be too short to give a more detailed review, but definitely noticed that hair is softer and more moisturized, unfortunately not much shine. 👍 Plus 💚 Moisturizes hair very well, especially wavy/curly hair 💚 Smells wonderful!!! 💚 Travel size lets you try the product without feeling forced to use it all if it’s not your cup of tea 👎 Minus ❤️🩹 Can be a bit too heavy for hair if you have a thinner hair type 💭 Conclusion Will definitely buy Shea Moisture again, but maybe not this one specifically for my hair. Freshen up the curls day two
Yesterday I posted my entire styling routine and I think you can join in on today's refresh of what we did yesterday! 🤩 The post from yesterday is among my “looks” on my profile here on Lyko social if you're curious. Besides the products used today, I also had heat protection and a little spray yesterday. Sometimes I freshen up the curls with just mousse and sometimes it becomes a whole procedure with lots of water, mousse, gelée, etc., it depends on what condition the hair is in and what I used before. I usually don’t need to do much more than what I do today when I’ve had these products, they are great! Waking those curls to life day 2-3 💕 without washing. (Don't miss my best budget tip at the end) 💦WATER is your best friend! - But we don't want to soak the whole hair in the shower several times a week, so the spray bottle or wetting your hands in the sink and smoothing over the hair works just fine! 🩷 Then we might need to add a bit of product. A little curl cream, a little gel, or just a little leave-in - OR a tiny pea of everything 😁 There’s no right or wrong here, learn to know YOUR hair! Cream gives definition, gel gives hold. What’s needed (if anything). Smoothing the palms down over the hair to reduce frizz ⚡️ 👉🏻 MY BEST HACK: make your own refresh spray!
