What I like most is that it feels more like a face cream than a sunscreen. No plastic feeling, no unpleasant film, and the skin feels moisturized all day. I got a few pimples while using it, but otherwise it has worked very well. It sits nicely under makeup and is an SPF I gladly use every day. The post was made 1 dayAfter trying the pink collagen mask from Biodance last week, I noticed in the days that followed that my skin felt plumper, with less redness & clearly calmer than before. The blue version gave me even more hydration all over my face after one night. It doesn’t quite give the same immediate plumping effect as the pink one, but the skin feels more stable, calm & my usual skincare products absorb better. For me, this isn’t a mask you use when you want to wake up with that instantly smoothed, “reset” feeling that some masks give. I see it more as a strengthening treatment that gradually helps the skin build up its barrier & feel healthier over time. What makes this one stand out is how comfortable it feels on the waterline. Many pencils, especially in the budget category, can feel hard or scratchy, but this one is smooth & easy to apply. The brown shade gives a soft definition that highlights the eyes without being as sharp as black. Despite the low price, the quality feels really well thought out, and it has quickly become one of my favorites for everyday makeup. Too Faced is quicker to apply and provides coverage, but the Essence combination surprised me. The result was natural, moisturizing, and perfect for everyday use, at a fraction of the price. The post was made 4 daysThis one made me look more awake right away 👀 I bought catrice Under Eye Brightener to use as a color corrector under my essence Silky Blur Concealer, & that combination actually turned out to be a hit. The shade neutralizes dark areas without looking orange, the formula is creamy and feels unexpectedly moisturizing. The result was a more awake and even look under the eyes, while the concealer sits very nicely on top. It also works well on its own on days when I want a lighter base. The post was made 5 daysThis one costs just a fraction… 👀 I’ve long had Too Faced Born This Way as my favorite foundation & was pleasantly surprised by Essence Skin Tint. It doesn’t provide quite the same coverage, but the feel on the skin is surprisingly similar with a natural, skin-like finish. What I appreciate most is that it moisturizes better than several clean beauty foundations I’ve tested in the same category. The skin feels soft and comfortable all day without tightening, which is unusual for me with dry skin. For me, it has become a really good everyday foundation. It provides just the right amount of evening out, feels light on the skin, and also costs only a fraction of Born This Way. An extra plus is that the ingredient list feels cleaner than many traditional foundations. I’m looking for products that feel like they continue working with the skin even after use and provide more long-lasting hydration/nourishment. In that regard, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. If you’re looking for a mask that quickly gives the skin a more vibrant and fuller appearance (e.g., before an important event), I think it’s worth trying.
