Exfoliating ✨️
I have had the honor of testing and reviewing the Tanrevel Exfoliating Scrub 200 ml, which I have now used for about 3 weeks. I regularly use body scrub (about 1 time/week) as my skin is very dry and atopic. Usually, I am not a regular tanner. But of course, you can use this scrub even if you don't use self-tanner. Below is my experience with the product: ✨️ First of all, I think the tube is sleek and practical. Good size for both the tube and the cap, which makes it easy to use. No mess and unnecessary waste. 🫧 The scent is magical! Smells citrusy, which makes you think of summer right away. In my opinion, it smells just right. ✨️ Large sugar grains that scrub well on the body. I haven't dared to try it on my face due to the large grains. I prefer milder scrubs with small grains for that area. But on the rest of the body, it works fine. Exfoliates well and removes residues of self-tanner. 🫧 Since it contains both sweet almond oil, coconut oil, and sunflower oil, I find my skin to be well moisturized. The skin feels smooth and soft after use. Not always have I needed body lotion afterward, which I usually always use after the shower. ✨️ The only downside I can see is that it takes quite a bit of product for a full-body scrubbing. Good price for the product itself, but it gets expensive in the long run considering how quickly a tube is used up. I have tested the product on both dry and damp skin. When applied dry, it scrubs more and you feel the full effect of the exfoliation. It creates a little lather when rinsing with water and circular motions. It is only then that the sugar dissolves. When used on damp skin, the product dissolves faster and you get a gentler and softer exfoliation. Then I can't say for sure that this scrub makes self-tanner last better than using other types/brands. But it definitely removes residues better than others I have tried. #LYKOTESTPILOT #TANREVELTranslated from swedish

New favorite
I have tried a few new body scrubs lately and have been disappointed with them. The sugar crystals have been large and felt harsh on the skin. I got this Tanrevel scrub cream from Lyko to test, and luckily I was pleasantly surprised! 😍 The cream is fine-grained and really soft, so it's pleasant to apply. I especially like that it's in a tube, so you don't have to dig the scrub out from the bottom of a jar 🙏🏼 The product has a very mild, fresh lemon scent, which also gives extra points. I have dry, atopic skin, and wow, how moisturizing this is! It feels like you’ve slathered your skin instead of scrubbing 😍💧🍋 Otherwise, I would give it a full five stars, but the product gets used up faster since it’s so fine-grained, soft, and quickly melting. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #LYKOTESTPILOT #TANREVEL2 likes2390 viewsto leave a comment - 2 weeks
Refreshing scrub for sensitive skin
I had the opportunity to test Tanrevel's scrub for three weeks.🤩 The scrub initially impressed me, especially with its scent – a sweet, refreshing scent that reminded me of a warm summer evening.🥰 The scrub is gentle, perhaps even a bit too mild for my taste. I have used it with exfoliating gloves to achieve a slightly more effective result. I also noticed that you need to use quite a bit of product at once, which can lead to the tube running out quickly. Definitely a big plus for the product's moisturizing properties. After the shower, the skin feels wonderfully soft and hydrated, and there is no immediate need for a separate moisturizer, as is often the case with many other scrubs. I think the price is a bit high considering the amount of product. On the other hand, the scrub contains many different oils that really hydrate the skin well. Additionally, after use, the skin was perfectly ready for self-tanner application – the result was even and natural, and the elbows or other drier areas did not darken too much, which is usually a problem. The product's moisturizing ability clearly helped here. I believe this scrub is a perfect choice for those with sensitive skin or those looking for a mild-scented, skin-friendly option. Personally, I would have liked the product to have slightly larger exfoliating particles for a more effective feel, but the moisturizing properties and even result with self-tanner were definitely a plus. #TANREVEL #LYKOTESTPILOT3 likes1893 viewsto leave a comment - 2 weeks
Peeling!
I have been given the opportunity to be a #LYKOTESTPILOT for this peeling from #TANREVEL, which I am very happy about. I have previously tested both Tanrevel original and Tanrevel pro (both spray tan machines), so the brand was known to me from before. I find that the brand has good quality in its products and beautiful and luxurious packaging✨ I am not someone who regularly uses (self-tanner) and usually never self-tan my body unless I do something on my face. But of course, you can use this peeling even if you don’t use self-tanner. However, I think it would be perfect for someone who often uses self-tanner and needs to scrub properly☀️ My skin on my body is mostly dry. I used this peeling in the shower, it also says that you can use it directly on dry skin, but I find it a bit too rough. It gently peels the skin and removes dead skin cells. Perfect to peel and freshen up the skin now for spring/summer when you might start going with bare legs. Leaves the skin soft and smooth afterwards🥰 The product comes in a 200 ml tube that will last for quite a few uses. Even though the product is not that super economical. The scent is something citrus, maybe not a favorite of mine, but totally okay🍋 Thank you for this interesting test, a really lovely peeling! 🧡Translated from swedish

Do a good job
I was lucky enough to be a test pilot for this body scrub. 😊 The product has a thick consistency with very large grains in it, but it feels exciting enough not to be hard or scratchy at all! Afterwards, the skin feels soft and smooth. You can also feel the nourishing oils. I haven't tried to self-tan after yet, but it really feels like it's doing its job. 🤎 I perceive the scent as a citrus scent with a sweetness to it. I probably wouldn't have chosen it myself, but it's absolutely not a bad scent. I think the bottle is very pretty! ✨ I would have thought it was a bit easier if it had a cap that was fixed and not one you screw off, as it is a bit cumbersome, but otherwise I like it as it's easy to get the right amount of product out. I feel like you need to use quite a bit for it to cover the whole body, so I'm unsure how long-lasting it is, which brings the rating down a bit. From me, it gets 4/5 🌟 #TANREVEL #LYKOTESTPILOTTranslated from swedish

Something new!
I have never had a scrub where you don't need to soften the skin with warm water first, so I was a bit skeptical when I tried it. But it worked very well on dry skin. The scrub has almost a sticky feel, which makes it adhere well to dry skin, and it doesn't leave any irritation either. I also tested the scrub on wet skin, and it's not recommended as it didn't stick as well. The scent itself is pleasant and mild. I thought it smelled a bit faintly of coconut oil, but very faintly. Nothing that bothered me. The packaging is also convenient to use as it comes in a tube. The skin felt smooth and hydrated after using the scrub. So it gets plus points for 😍 However, I don't know if I would want to buy the scrub myself as I am more used to other scrubs that are used on wet skin. Otherwise, I have nothing negative to say about the scrub. #LYKOTESTPILOT #TANREVELTranslated from swedish

Scrub with an incredible scent!
The packaging is both sleek and luxurious, a real treat for the eyes. When I tested the product for the first time on the back of my hand, it was the scent that caught me immediately. It’s summery, with fresh notes of citrus and flowers, simply magical! I became almost obsessed. The scent also lingered after I rinsed off the scrub, which I really appreciated. The consistency felt oily upon application, but after rinsing, all the oil disappeared without leaving any residue on the skin. When I tested the product on my body, I noticed that I needed to use quite a bit to get the exfoliating feeling I’m used to, which might be because I often use scrub gloves. Despite that, it felt lovely on the skin and left no residue. After the shower, I felt moisturized and my skin was really soft. The scent lingered a bit, which was a big plus. I applied self-tanner about 16 hours after using the scrub and thought that the tan applied nicely on the skin without looking dry or patchy in some areas. I’m satisfied with the result! I like using it as a scrub on my body, whether I’m going to self-tan or not. Summary: I would have liked a bit more grit in the scrub, I missed that feeling you get from scrub gloves. But my skin became soft and smooth, and the scent is absolutely fantastic. Will I buy it again? Most likely, yes! #LYKOTESTPILOT #TANREVELTranslated from swedish

Good but a bit sparse
I was lucky enough to be a test pilot for this Exfoliating Scrub from Tanrevel. I really love a proper scrub and I prefer sugar scrubs as they are a bit gentler on the skin than salt scrubs, even though my skin (body) isn't particularly sensitive. Here are my thoughts on this scrub: 🧴Packaging: - LOVE that it’s in a tube! Easy to dose the right amount! - Good screw cap. - Looks cool in its brown suit and yellow text. 🍋Scent: - Citrus scent, quite neutral in its scent that disappears. I don’t mind the scent, but citrus is not my personal favorite scent. ✨The scrub itself: - Proper scrub, but in a soft way! Really lovely! - You can feel the oils which I love. - Leaves the skin really moisturized and fresh! 🤓On Tanrevel's website, you can read that: - You can also use it on your face. (I’ve tested it and it worked fine for me, despite having a sensitive face) - Can be used as often as you wish. What brings the rating down is that I find it quite sparse. The sugar melts faster than I’m used to, which results in me using more product. ☺️I haven’t tested to BUS: myself after, so unfortunately I can’t say if the BUS: holds better, but from experience it usually does after a scrub. 🩷 SO, in summary: Even if you BUS: or not, this is a good scrub that I can really recommend, even to you with slightly more sensitive skin but still want a bit of a scrub. #lykotestpilot #tanrevelTranslated from swedish

Almost full pot ☀️
I, who am a real self-tanner nerd, was super happy to get to test this scrub! 🫧 A bit about my skin type: I have sensitive skin, especially on my face, but my body usually tolerates perfumed products without any problems. Sometimes I can react with itchy rashes to strong products, but that doesn't happen super often. I can get a bit dry at times, but otherwise my skin is quite normal. I use self-tanner about once a week, and to get an even result, I usually scrub my body before application. It helps to remove old residues of self-tanner, especially on drier areas where it can otherwise become patchy. Usually, I scrub one to two days before I apply a new layer. Before my next scrubbing, I finally tested this product. The packaging felt nice and luxurious. However, when I opened the lid, I was met with a pleasant but very strong scent, which made me a bit worried since my skin is sensitive to strongly perfumed products. I needed to use a lot of product to be able to scrub my whole body properly. During use, I also experienced that it stung quite a bit on the skin, which brought down both the experience and the rating for me - my little spa evenings I have in the bathroom I want to enjoy and not have something hurt or sting on my body. However, the scrub was extremely effective – much more than others I have tested. The before and after pictures that you can see on my arm clearly show how much of the old self-tanner disappeared, and my skin really felt clean and smooth afterward. Despite the stinging during use, I had no rashes or other reactions on my body afterward, but when I was done, my skin felt soft and smooth instead, and my experience turned more positive! I applied new self-tanner the evening after, and the result was very even and nice, so in that way, the product really delivered. In summary, I had a pretty positive experience thanks to the result, but I wouldn't buy the product again as long as the scent is so strong and it stings on the skin. However, if a milder or fragrance-free variant were to come out, I could absolutely consider buying it again. Thank you, Lyko 🧡 #LYKOTESTPILOT #TANREVELTranslated from swedish

Pleasant basic scrub 🫧
I got to test Tanrevel's body scrub and I've been using it regularly during the test period about once a week. My skin is dry and I use a lot of dark self-tanning products, so it was interesting to test whether the scrub would affect the results! 🧡 The scrub product has a pleasant fresh scent. I liked how nourishing the scrub felt, and my skin was softer after use. In my opinion, the scrub granules were too fine, and the product required a lot of work on the skin. I used the product as directed on dry skin, massaging in circular motions. In the end, I enhanced the scrub by adding a little water to my hands, which made the product foam nicely. I tried the self-tanner 24 hours after the scrub and noticed that the self-tanner was easier to apply and didn't stick to dry areas like before. I wouldn't necessarily buy this product again myself. I don't think the product differs much from supermarket scrubs and is quite expensive. #LYKOTESTPILOT #TANREVEL3 likes2616 viewsto leave a comment - 2 weeks
Lovely scrub 🧖🏼♀️
Lucky me for getting to try this Body Scrub from Tanrevel!! First and foremost, wow what a beautiful packaging!😍 And like wow, what a fresh citrus scent this has!! I felt so soft and hydrated afterwards, so I would really say it lives up to the standard it promises🥳 You can just imagine when I went to bed and it felt just like when you have freshly shaved legs, but on basically the whole body😅 Since I have a history of getting quite irritated skin from scrubs before, I was so surprised that I didn’t get that at all from this one 🤩 However, I want to say that I think you needed to use a pretty generous amount of the scrub. And even though I didn’t use any self-tanner afterwards, I unfortunately can’t say how this affects the result on that. #LYKOTESTPILOT #TANREVEL #LykoreviewTranslated from swedish

I was expecting more..
I got this body scrub to test from Lyko. I've tried it a couple of times now, but I just don't like it. There are better body scrubs out there. The grains felt somehow large on the skin. I'm used to using body scrubs where the grains are small and feel good on the skin. I also had to use quite a bit of product to get it to spread well on the body. Because of this, the product isn't very economical either. I don't think it left my skin feeling soft. The scent was nice. Citrusy. I didn't try applying self-tanner after the scrub, so I can't say what kind of tan you would get after this scrub. This is just my opinion though. If you're interested in trying this, go ahead 😊 🩷 #lykoreview #lykotestpilot #tanrevel9 likes2677 viewsto leave a comment - 3 weeks
Brown (with and) without sun
I got some color in my face on my vacation and I've wanted to maintain it or at least look like I could maintain it 😌 A colleague said, apropos nothing, yesterday that he thought my color held up so well after the vacation so I think I did something right 😋 I exfoliate/scrub my face max 2 times a week. Other than that, I use a self-tanner product once or twice a week. I switch it up a bit, but here are the products I alternate with: The exfoliation depends on how gentle/tough I want to be on my skin. The gentlest are the pads from Tanrevel, then Emma S enzyme peeling and Ole Henriksen's Pumpkin mask can get as tough as possible 😝 If I've done a proper treatment, I like to use K-ceutic afterwards. It's supposed to be good for the skin's recovery after treatments, and the skin sleeps well with it ☺️ A few days later, I go on with self-tanner. I'm not so fond of spray products for self-tanner, but as my other products from Marc Inbane are starting to run out, I've come to the Bus spray (influtester last spring) and I spray it in the mitt and rub it on my arms, shoulders, décolleté, neck, and face. It smells a bit like caramel when applying, then nothing. Marc Inbane's self-tanner mitt is by the way the best, most durable self-tanner mitt I've ever had! Alternative 2 is James Read’s coconut mist. It smells a bit more (unfortunately I can't find the one I had before) but it settles and even though it's a spray, I think it goes on evenly and I don't react with bumps or anything else either. It's also made for the face. #marcinbane #jamesread #olehenrikssen #emmas #tanrevelTranslated from swedish
