I've been considering copper-colored hair for a long time, but I've also had other ideas lurking, but now we're going for it!! I'm starting now by making my hair DARK BLONDE, and from there I can continue and add a more coppery or red shade. This blonde toning is much cooler than it looks on the box, so I'm taking a slightly redder shade so my light blonde hair (i.e., very low grade red pigments) doesn't turn green. I've done this with only half red and the whole blonde color. DIY: Brad Mondo's Sabrina Carpenter Cut
Here I show how I did it when I cut my hair and go through the different steps. You can of course also see Brad Mondo's original tutorial (search for Brad Mondo and Sabrina Carpenter), especially if you want to cut shorter curtain bangs, because I skipped that this time (it was nerve-wracking enough anyway😅) I have cut my hair following his tutorial “butterfly cut” for the past year/years, but now it was time for something new! More layered! 🫣😁💕 It should be noted that I have very thick hair, so if you do this yourself (at your own risk of course ❤️💋), the hair may feel thinner than it looks on me afterwards (if you have thinner hair). Are you afraid to cut it yourself? As long as you BRUSH thoroughly (have very wet hair or very carefully straightened, dry hair), place the ponytails where you want them and don’t stretch the hair in the wrong angles, it’s as good as foolproof 🤗 (but again: at your own risk. I take no responsibility for what you do with your scissors 🤗) My brush is from #tangleteezer. When I styled my hair, I first used oil from #kerastase and then Fiber foam from #elenichris. I blow-dried and curled with my #dyson airwrap and had in Raise the roots from #colorwow at the roots. Spray from #rco and then a little more oil. Christmas Show with Hair Syrup 🎄
Yes hair syrup in the hair then 🤗 Started with twisted braids, but today was NOT the day for that! After four weeks of sun, swimming, diving, and washing my hair in water with a bit more metals, it's all about cleansing, color restoration, and recovery for the hair! Vacation Hair!
When I'm on vacation, I have a few things that are always with me: “regular” shampoo, silver shampoo, one or two “shut up-good” hair masks, conditioner, and some type of bonding serum/leave-in or moisturizer. I’m listing the products for this trip below. My hair feels fresh. My thick hair feels thick without going flat. I can't really wish for more. I washed my hair yesterday with Waterclouds motion care shampoo and conditioner, which I have on trial at home. So far, I’ve found these to be too weak for my hair, so it’s not their fault that my hair feels the way it does. Honestly, it felt different already when the mask seemed to be different. Hard to explain, but the consistency of the hair and the mask kind of meld together and was completely smooth. You can tell that the scent is not an ICA scent. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean I like it 😋, but the scent fades afterward. Yes, I wrote a bit yesterday about being quite surprised after blow-drying. I used Lyko’s “beat the heat” as heat protection. It makes the hair softer otherwise too, but not at this level. I slept with my hair in a loose bun on my head and brushed it out today. No oil, nothing extra. It’s going to be super interesting to: 1: see if the hair holds up during styling (curls, etc.) or if it’s so “relaxed” that it goes straight again 2: see how it works if I go for my natural curls/waves. Could be super good or super heavy 3: I had a bit of the same experience the first time I tried Olaplex No. 3 (ALMOST, must be emphasized) but not since then… Will it be the same here? I’ll probably use this for my next wash too, but then it will get a break. I think it will be too much and unnecessary to use every time… but that’s what I THINK.
